For Second Year, Trump’s State Department Recognizes June as LGBTI Pride Month

For Second Year, Trump’s State Department Recognizes June as LGBTI Pride Month

By Julio Severo
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recognized June 2018 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) Pride Month — continuing the tradition of the State Department of Hillary Clinton under former president Barack Obama.
“The United States joins people around the world in celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) Pride Month, and reaffirms its commitment to protecting and defending the human rights of all, including LGBTI persons,” Pompeo said in a statement.
The United States joins only Europe and liberal nations in this celebration. No conservative nation has joined it.
U.S. embassies and consulates have also received guidance from the State Department to celebrate the LGBTI Pride Month.
Why is, as was the Obama administration, the Trump administration so interested in indoctrinating other nations to celebrate homosexuality? Last year, President Donald Trump’s State Department did the same celebration for a whole month.
Should homosexuality ever be a cause for celebration? Obama and Hillary celebrated it because they were not real Christian. But conservatives expected much more from Trump and especially Pompeo, who was described by CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) as “a very devout Christian.”
CBN also assured, in a March 2018 report, that Pompeo “will likely have a positive effect on US foreign policy.” The fulfillment of this expectation would have been important because it would eliminate Obama’s influence, which was imposing the homosexual agenda around the world through his State Department. Even under Trump, the U.S. foreign policy has been the same moral disaster as it was under Obama. Last year, Trump’s State Department pressured Romania to embrace homosexual activism.
With Pompeo, conservatives expected a change… that has not come.
Nevertheless, CBN had predicted evangelical Christians would have cause to celebrate as Pompeo is a very devout Christian.
“It’s a tremendous pick for evangelical Christians. He's a very devout Christian. He actually even held a Bible study inside the White House,” CBN said.
Pro-life and pro-family organizations praised Trump’s appointment of Pompeo as Secretary of State because they thought that he would never celebrate homosexuality and never recognize a homosexual month. All of them were wrong.
In its enthusiastic support of Pompeo, CBN noted that he is also very pro-Israel. But how is this important, as far as the homosexual agenda is concerned, since Israel has a right-wing government that supports this agenda?
In his official statement, Pompeo said, “In many parts of the world, LGBTI individuals and their supporters continue to face violence, arrest, harassment and intimidation”, stopping just short of condemning Saudi Arabia, known for violence, arrest, harassment and intimidation of homosexuals.
Last year, as CIA chief Pompeo made a special trip to Saudi Arabia to reward Saudi dictators for fighting Islamic terror. An award to the Islamic dictatorship of Saudi Arabia for fighting terrorism is akin to an award to Hitler for fighting Nazism or to an award to Stalin for fighting the Soviet communism.
If Pompeo keeps consistent with such inconsistency, now will he make another special trip to Saudi Arabia to reward Saudi dictators for fighting violence, arrest, harassment and intimidation of homosexuals?
The problem with the homosexual impositions and pressures from the U.S. State Department, under Obama and Trump, is that their main victims are not Saudi Muslims, but innocent Christians.
The same homosexual principles that drove U.S. diplomacy under Obama now drive the U.S. diplomacy under Trump. The only difference is that while Obama was vocal about these principles, Trump gives a tacit support, by allowing his own administration to speak for himself. If the saying “silence means assent” is correct, Trump’s “silence” is a message. Even Trump’s daughter Ivanka has broken his “silence” to support the Month of LGBTQ Pride.
It is an old tactic that when a president wants to support a policy, but he cannot do it directly not to offend his conservative allies, he does it indirectly through his direct subordinates, who cannot act against his direct orders.
It a very bad sign that Trump is, through Pompeo, “discreetly” supporting the use of the U.S. foreign policy to advance and make great the same sin that destroyed Sodom. As soon as Trump has no conservative allies to offend, he will immediately support directly this sin, without a need to use Pompeo and others.
As soon as Trump has no conservative allies to please, he will do as he pleases, without a need to use his subordinates to support causes he could not support directly.
While America under Obama and Trump is worried about homosexuality, other nations are worried about the homosexual threat to children. Russia, for example, came to the conclusion the only thing that can protect young boys from predatory homosexuality is a ban on homosexual propaganda, and Russia approved such ban in 2013.
Under Obama, it was just natural for the U.S. foreign policy to be anti-Russia, given that conservative Russia has an exemplary law banning homosexual propaganda to children and adolescents. Now under Trump, allegedly a more conservative administration, the U.S. should have a better law banning homosexual propaganda to children and adolescents, but it has not. It should have a conservative State Department shunning the pro-homosexuality stances of the Obama era, but it has not. It should have a foreign policy against the homosexual ideology, but it has a pro-sodomy foreign policy. It should have a State Department protecting children from predatory homosexuality, but it has not. So as far as the homosexual agenda is concerned, under Trump conservative Russia will continue to face the moral clashes it faced under Obama.
It was very easy for us conservatives to fight against Obama’s State Department because everything that came from Obama was pro-homosexuality. But how are conservatives to fight when a celebration of homosexuality comes officially from a State Department under the direct leadership of “a very devout” Christian?
Conservatives worked hard to support a State Secretary who is “a very devout” Christian, and now he behaves as a devout left-wing. Has he betrayed Jesus Christ, whom he had a commitment that is more important than human commitments?
The Bible says about devout Christians who betray their Master:
“For behold, those who are far from You shall perish; You will destroy all who are false to You and like [spiritual] harlots depart from You.” (Psalm 73:27 AMPC)
Jesus said,
“And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God.” (Luke 12:8-9 ESV)
Wherever he is, in a government post or other place, a very devout Christian honors Jesus and what He says in his Word — including about homosexuality. A very devout left-winger honors and celebrates homosexuality.
If actually Pompeo is a very devout Christian, does it mean that his celebration of homosexuality was ordered by his boss? Why not renounce instead of honoring sin?
Obama used the U.S. government to lead the world, by his bad example, into accepting the homosexual lifestyle as normal. By tacit or explicit support, the Trump administration is leading the world in the same bad example.
Trump is a man who speaks, and does it strongly on strong issues. His silence while his very devout Christian official celebrates homosexuality is a strong sign that he also approves it and that in due time he will strongly defend the same issues they are defending.
The State Department has international power and its homosexual decisions harm the international community, which was tired of Obama’s homosexual imperialism. Why continue this imperialism?
America’s influence cannot to be underestimated. The homosexual movement became active in Brazil by direct cultural effect from America, including her politics and Hollywood.
Brazil, which is the largest Catholic nation in the world, is also one of the biggest imitators of the most depraved aspects of the U.S. culture. With such knowledge, I wrote the book “O Movimento Homossexual” (The Homosexual Movement), published in 1998 by the Brazilian branch of Bethany House Publishers, explaining how the homosexual movement would increase in Brazil just by imitating America, including with homosexual indoctrination in the schools.
People called me crazy in the late 1990s, saying that Brazilian schools would never have homosexual indoctrination. But today they have it. America affects Brazil, for better or worse.
Obama’s and Clinton’s bad example in homosexual politics affected Brazil. Trump administration’s bad example will affect Brazil and other nations.
Trump’s silence, while his very devout Christian official celebrates the homosexual abnormality in the international community, is sheer connivance. To recognize a LGBTI month as a cause for “pride” and celebration is a stupid praise and celebration. Homosexuality is a cause of shame and scandals, not pride and celebration. Why then is Trump’ State Department so proud of a LGBT month?
When a very devout Christian official of Trump openly encourage celebration of homosexual wickedness under the silence of his boss, his silence is connivance.
Homosexuality is a disgrace and wherever it is present, perversion is its result. The biggest scandals in the Catholic Church today are caused by homosexual priests. Homosexuality is a cause of shame and scandals, not pride and celebration, in the Catholic Church and other institutions.
Why does Trump’s State Department want to praise and encourage in the international community a behavioral abnormality and perversion that causes scandals and tragedy to children? Why does not the State Department engage itself in an international campaign to protect children from the homosexual propaganda and its evils?
I admired when America, her presidents and administrations praised and encouraged people to read the Bible, which condemns homosexuality.
George Washington, the first U.S. president, condemned homosexuality. The only proper diplomatic attitude to homosexuality is condemnation and discouragement.
Washington’s attitude was a good example. He was actually a very devout Christian. What Obama’s State Department did and what Trump’s State Department is doing is bad example.
Of course, extremist groups should be condemned. Some pro-Inquisition Catholics advocate capital punishment for homosexuals, and I have publicly rebuked them for it in my article “A Global Inquisition to Put Homosexuals to Death?” In fact, there are now right-wing Catholic groups in Brazil justifying the Inquisition by using Trump! Yet, extremist groups should not be used as excuse to protect predatory homosexuality. Children, not homosexual propaganda, need protection and priority.
Probably, the Trump administration is supporting the homosexual agenda to please the Left, which even so is not pleased, because it wants the whole cake, and Trump is giving them only one slice.
As a Brazilian conservative evangelical, I ask U.S. evangelicals to press the Trump administration to abandon Obama’s homosexual imperialism in the Trump administration and his State Department and honor his commitment to his evangelical constituents, who were instrumental for his victory. The Trump administration should defend family against predatory homosexuality, which is a special threat to children.
Trump and Pompeo can learn from Washington’s good example and be a good example for the world.
I am moved and encouraged by Washington’s good example, but I am ashamed by the bad example in Trump’s State Department, which says that it is worried about human rights of homosexuals but neither the White House nor Pompeo have publicly condemned the U.S. ally, Saudi Arabia, for violence, arrest, harassment and intimidation of homosexuals.
How can Trump’s State Department and its embassies and consulates say to the world that America is proud of homosexuality? So is America under Trump ashamed of George Washington and the Bible he believed in? Is America under Trump ashamed that the Bible, the Book that made America great, condemns homosexuality?
Can a very devout Christian dedicate a whole month to celebrate homosexuality? So why did Pompeo do it?
If Sodom was destroyed over homosexual sin, how does America expect to escape God’s judgment over the same sin?
“Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a disgrace in any society.” (Proverbs 14:34 GWV)

No true child of God could pursue such an agenda, therfore the answer to the question is found in the very act.
It behoves any Christians who gather around them and those who are praying for them, to teach them and guide them in biblical principles and, most importantly, like yourself, to hold them to account publicly.
My question is - where are true Christian men when it comes to serving ones country in the political arena! It is easy to point at Trump, Putin, Orban, Netanyahu - and say that though all religious, none are Christian. Where then are the Christian men?
If every corrupt government in the world today collapsed - who would replace them? More of the same I venture. Because much to their shame Christian men will not stand in the public arena and utilise the gifts and responsibility God has given them for leadership.
Where are such as Moses, David, Abraham, Daniel, Peter, Paul!!
Much as we have every casue to weep over our leaders - the blame remains with the men of God who are at ease in Zion.
