Dear President Lula
Recently, you visited several Muslim countries, passing by very close to the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but you did visit Israel. The greatest problem is that those countries are enemies of Israel.
In God’s sight, Brazilian people get nothing from such trip. Yet, all the countries you visited are linked to human-rights violations against Christians. Furthermore, those nations have, in a sense or another, helped the international terrorism. Ten terrorist groups that kill men, women and children in Israel are Syrian-based. Syria also supports Hezbollah, on of the greatest and violent groups against Israeli people. Libya, under the Gadhafi dictatorship, has a very much dangerous terrorist curriculum.
God says about Israel, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse. Through you every family on earth will be blessed”. (Genesis 12:3 GW) What blessing could you get for Brazil by making alliances with those that curse Israel?
Partially, the United States has received important blessing because many of its leaders bless and support Israel. While most of European countries consider Israel a threat to the world peace, the United States, with all its imperfections and sins, has been the only real friend of the Israeli people. If it were not God’s hand using the US, Muslim countries would have destroyed Israel a long time ago.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you prosper”. (Psalms 122:6 GNB)
In your place, I would visit Israel, bless those people and help Brazil reach the blessings it so much needs to thrive and prosper.
May God help you to do his will.
