Trump, the Reformation and Halloween
By Julio Severo
President Donald Trump had abundant
good reasons to celebrate the Protestant Reformation on October 31, 2017.
*
The first U.S. President, George Washington, was Protestant. In fact, all the
U.S. presidents were Protestants, except for Catholic John F. Kennedy and the
religiously half-bred Islamic-Protestant Barack Obama.
* No other nation in the world
promoted so much Protestantism and Bible reading as the United States did. Some
U.S. presidents even helped Bible societies.
*
No other nation in the world sent so many Protestant missionaries as the United
States did. America gave the world Christian giants as Billy Graham, Rex Humbard, Pat Robertson and many other
evangelical leaders who blessed the nations.
Yet,
Trump’s White House did not celebrate the landmark 500 years of Reformation. It
was a historic date, and Trump ignored it. It speaks volumes about his respect
for the Christian values that founded the United States.
What did he celebrate on October
31?

A simple Google search also shows
that while other Western governments were celebrating the Reformation, Trump
was not.
The Christian Broadcasting Network
(CBN), of Pat Robertson, in a report titled “Paganism
and Witchcraft: The Dark Reality of Halloween,” said, “many do not realize there’s
a darker reality to this celebration and it is steeped in paganism and
witchcraft.” Trumps knows CBN, because Robertson interviewed exclusively an
apparently Christian Trump earlier this year.
In
an article in the Charisma magazine’s website titled “Is Halloween Evil? Why Witches,
Occultists and Satanists Celebrate Halloween and Why You Should Not,” author Michael Snyder said, “Halloween
night is one of the biggest nights of the year for witches, occultists and
Satanists.”

To celebrate Satan was more
important to him than to celebrate the Christian movement that made America
great.
Such
ingratitude is most welcome by Muslims, witches, occultists and Satanists, who are
fighting to impose their own religious values to America.
Perhaps next time when Trump needs
votes in an election, he should try witches, occultists and Satanists, since he
has despised evangelical voters who gave him the victory.
