Prophecy of David Wilkerson and the Apocalypse Plague
The
most prophetic book in the Bible, containing revelations for the last days, is
Revelation, which says,
“I
looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and
Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of
the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the
earth.” (Revelation 6:8 NIV)

Coronavirus,
or COVID-19, came from China, a communist nation engaged for decades in
persecution against Christians. And the virus spread through powerful Christian
nations — America, the largest Protestant nation in the world, and Brazil, the
largest Catholic nation in the world.
America
and Brazil should have rebuked China for its human rights violations against
Christians, but they always preferred to put trade above innocent victims.
In
2017, U.S. President Donald Trump visited China in the first year of his
administration, and he even congratulated China for the
anniversary of its communist revolution that killed millions of Chinese.
Brazilian
President Jair Bolsonaro, also in the first
year of his administration, visited China, which was celebrating the 70th
anniversary of its communist revolution. He called China a “capitalist nation.”
If
China is today great and capitalist it is because the U.S. made China great and
capitalist. If China is today a huge communist threat, it is because the U.S., in its commercial
ambitions, made China such massive threat.
Both
Trump and Bolsonaro did not use their visits to defend Christians, who have
been immensely persecuted in China for decades.
So it is no wonder that the U.S. and
Brazil became the main hotspots of coronavirus, as result of the spread of the China
virus or, in biblical terms, as the result of the sins of these nations putting
trade interests above the human rights of Christians persecuted by the
communist China.
Interestingly,
the China virus hit exactly trade, closing businesses throughout the U.S.,
Brazil and other nations, causing massive economic losses.
So
it was useless for the U.S. and Brazil to put trade above oppression against
Christians. In the end, trade was not worth it.
In a powerful prophecy in the 1980s,
Rev. David Wilkerson, the author of “The Cross and The Switchblade,” said that America,
busy in trade and God-less capitalism, fits the role of Babylon the Great
in the book of Revelation in the Bible. Babylon is portrayed in the Bible as a
system or nation busy in trade and God-less capitalism.
Some people could interpret plagues
in Revelation as punishment sent by God, but today we, who live in the last
days, understand that plagues like coronavirus are sent not by God, but from
people’s and nations’ sins. Coronavirus came from communist China. It is a
communist plague, fueled by capitalist nations making China and its communist
threat great.
Could
the China virus be one of the apocalyptic plagues in Revelation?
Could there be some prophetic meaning in
what is happening? Might God be allowing
this epidemic as a consequence of sins of people and nations?
Dr. Mike Evans has commented,
As I was preparing this message in my
prayer room, I picked up an old Bible. I have several dozen Bibles, and a note
fell out of this old Bible and as I read it, I was trembling and crying. Here
is why. It was written in 1986 on a Tuesday. I was having breakfast with a
minister by the name of David Wilkerson at the Embassy Suites near the Dallas
Fort-Worth Airport. The letter he showed me was addressed to Rev. Richard
Dortch who was running PTL under Jim Bakker. It said, “Rev. Dortch, within 12
months from the date of this letter the judgment of God will fall on PTL. You
are fornicating with brick and stone. Flee now and repent. Bats will fly
through the empty building.” A month later, I was with Dortch, and he mocked
David’s letter saying, “if I fornicate it will not be with brick and stone.
These attacks aren’t against me or Jim Bakker, they are against God.”
It was exactly 12 months to the day that
The Charlotte Observer broke the PTL scandal. Twelve months to the day of Dave
Wilkerson’s letter. But he said something else to me that I wrote down. He
said, “I see a plague coming on the world and the bars, church, and government
shut down. The plague will hit New York City and shake it like it has never
been shaken. The plague is going to force prayerless believers into radical
prayer, into their Bibles and repentance will be the cry from true men of God
in the pulpit. And out of it will come a third Great Awakening that will sweep
America and the world.” —David Wilkerson.
Then Evans said that the coronavirus
plague in New York City shook it like it has never been shaken.
Sin
brings death, including spiritual and eternal death.
What can we do? People need to know that
Jesus died to deliver them from sin and hell. Worse than coronavirus is to
depart to eternity without Jesus’ salvation. But how will people know about
this salvation if we do not speak about what Jesus did on the cross for them?
Jesus is bigger than coronavirus, China
and its communist threats and all diseases and death. His blood is powerful to
protect and save. So let us run to Him.
In time and out of time, we should
proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, healing the sick and
expelling demons, exactly as Jesus taught us.
