Disney Threatens to Boycott Georgia Over Abortion Ban
By Julio

On May 29, 2019, Disney CEO Robert Iger said
that Disney will no longer film in Georgia if its abortion ban goes into
effect, LifeNews
reported.

“I rather doubt we will [continue shooting
in Georgia,]” Iger said.
“I think many people who work for us will
not want to work there and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard,”
Iger said. “I don’t see how it’s practical for us to continue to shoot there.”
Georgia is a popular filming location for
TV and movies because of its generous tax breaks. Disney recently filmed
“Avengers: Endgame” and “Black Panther” there.
Netflix said it also may boycott Georgia for
protecting unborn babies from abortions. Dozens of liberal celebrities, including
“Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill, said they will also boycott Georgia.
Big companies, including Amazon.com and
Coca-Cola Co., also opposed the pro-life law.
Even though liberals are furious over the
law, it is limited in its protection of unborn babies. For example, it allows
abortion of babies conceived as victims of rape and incest.
The imperfect Georgia law represents a
crossroad for Disney. Known worldwide for loving children, Disney’s obligation
was not only to support Georgia and ask for a more protective law for unborn
babies, but also to boycott radically pro-abortion states like California and
New York.
How can Disney propagandize that it loves
children when it supports abortion? It is false propaganda.
U.S. states trying to restrict abortion show
that they love children. Groups opposing such restriction show that they hate
children.
Anyone who likes abortion hates children.
What Disney is showing is that it is a
company that loves to profit at the expense of children.
Since Disney, Netflix, Amazon and Coca-Cola
are against laws to protect children from abortion, people who love children
should boycott them.
