Father who canceled when he discovered that a babysitter on an online ad was actually a man is sued for human rights violation in Canada

Father who canceled when he discovered that a babysitter on an online ad was actually a man is sued for human rights violation in Canada

By Julio Severo
A Canadian single father is suffering an accusation of human rights violation for refusing a babysitter after finding that it was a man.
Father and son
The complaint dates back to Aug. 31, 2017, when Todd, who doesn’t want his last name published to protect his family’s privacy, posted a babysitting job ad on Kijiji. He was looking for a babysitter to look after his then five- and eight-year-old children for the evening.
According to legal documents, Todd received several responses to the posting and among them was James Cyrynowski, who filed the complaint against Todd saying that the father violated his human rights for not letting him babysit his sons.
Todd responded to Crynowski with a series of basic questions, asking him where he lived, how old he was, and if he was male or female.
“Hi, I live in Edmonton. I’m male and 28 years old,” Crynowski replied, but received no further responses from Todd.
According to the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), a conservative legal group that is representing Todd pro bono, Todd’s evening plans fell through so he cancelled his plan for a babysitter.
The JCCF says Cyrynowski did not follow up with Todd about the cancellation and instead filed a formal complaint with the Alberta Human Rights commission on September 1, claiming to have been discriminated because of his age and gender.
Todd said in an email he is suffering very much because of this distressing situation. He said,
“There have been many sleepless nights. I did not realize that people could object to me finding out all the relevant information I can about a potential babysitter, including their age and sex. I thought I was doing what was best for my young children.”
Todd, who is self-employed, said he rarely uses babysitters but that now, traumatized because of Crynowski’s brutal complaint, he’s unlikely to use online ads of babysitters again.
“Just trying to learn enough about a potential new babysitter can get me in trouble and I need to ensure that my children are safe,” he added.
This is not the first time Cyrynowski has filed a human rights complaint against a family with young children.
A similar case dating back to May 23, 2014, involved a mother posting an ad for a babysitter for her five-year-old son. Court documents show her ad listed a preference for an older woman with experience to look after her son. When Cyrynowski replied to the ad, he was told that she was looking for a female.
Refusing to accept her decision, Cyrynowski filed his complaint a few days later on May 26. The court case went all the way up to the Supreme Court of Canada where it was ultimately dismissed in May this year. Because of Cyrynowski and his lawsuit, the mother endured five years of sleepless nights and worries.
JCCF president John Carpay said parents need to be able to hire whoever they feel is appropriate to babysit their children.
“The parents should have full discretion,” he said. “If it is for a service in the home, you have to feel comfortable with a person coming into your home.”
He added: “It is unclear why the Human Rights Commission has now accepted Mr. Crynowski’s complaint against Todd, giving the precedent set by the test case.”
Why is Cyrynowski so obsessed about taking care of small children of other people? Instead of prosecuting his victims, Canada should prosecute him and investigate his real motivations to persecute fathers and mothers of young children. But in a nation with crazy laws, crazy people are empowered to persecute innocent people.

More Courageous than the U.S.: Canada Confronts Saudi Dictatorship over Human Rights and Saudi Arabia Expels Canadian Ambassador

More Courageous than the U.S.: Canada Confronts Saudi Dictatorship over Human Rights and Saudi Arabia Expels Canadian Ambassador

By Julio Severo
I am not a fan of the socialist government in Canada, but I have to praise it for doing what no other nation — including conservative countries — has ever done before: speaking up about violations of human rights in Saudi Arabia. Last week, the Canadian foreign ministry objected to jailing of women’s rights activists and urged Riyadh to “immediately release” them.
Among those recently arrested is Samar Badawi, whose brother Raif Badawi, a blogger, was arrested in Saudi Arabia in 2012 and later sentenced to 1,000 lashes and 10 years in jail for “insulting Islam” in a case that sparked international outcry. His wife, Ensaf Haidar, has been granted asylum by Canada, where she is raising their three children.
In a tweet, the Canadian foreign ministry said, “Canada is gravely concerned about additional arrests of civil society and women’s rights activists in #SaudiArabia, including Samar Badawi. We urge the Saudi authorities to immediately release them and all other peaceful #humanrights activists.”
In answer, the Saudi foreign ministry kicked out the Canadian ambassador.
“The Canadian position is an overt and blatant interference in the internal affairs of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry said, adding, “Throughout its long history, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has never accepted any interference in its domestic affairs by, or orders from any country.”
The Saudi ministry described Canada’s position as “an attack” on the kingdom, saying it would now:
* Freeze all new trade and investment transactions between the two countries
* Consider the Canadian ambassador persona non grata and order the envoy to leave within 24 hours
* Recall the Saudi envoy in Canada
* Reserve the right to take further action
After expelling the Canadian ambassador, Saudi Arabia has also appeared to threaten Canada with a 9/11-style attack by posting an image to Twitter showing a passenger plane flying towards the CN Tower in Toronto.
The inflammatory photo was captioned: “As the Arabic saying goes: ‘He who interferes with what doesn’t concern him finds what doesn’t please him.’”
The Saudi government-linked Twitter account, which has 354,000 followers, placed another caption over the tower reading: “Sticking one’s nose where it doesn’t belong.”
Responding to the alleged 9/11 threat Elizabeth Tsurkov, a research fellow at the Israeli Forum for Regional Thinking, said: “This tweet by an official Saudi propaganda account has now been deleted. Seems like they realized that reminding us that 15 of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi is not a great idea.”
Desperately trying to wriggle out of the gaffe, the Saudi government-linked Twitter account apologized saying:
“Earlier we posted an image, which is why we deleted the post immediately. The aircraft was intended to symbolize the return of the Ambassador, we realize this was not clear and any other meaning was unintentional. We apologize to anyone who was offended.”
Most of the U.S. left-wing and right-wing media has been silent about the Saudi threats against Canada.
I much doubt that socialist Canada would dare to flex its muscles against the Islamic dictatorship of Saudi Arabia, but I wonder what the Saudi dictators would do against the United States if 15 American terrorists had flown planes into Saudi skyscrapers on September 11, 2001.
Saudi Arabia would:
* Freeze all new trade and investment transactions between the two countries
* Consider the U.S. ambassador persona non grata and order the envoy to leave within 24 hours
* Recall the Saudi envoy in the U.S.
* Reserve the right to take further action.
I wonder why the U.S. is not taking such necessary measures against Saudi Arabia, considering the fact that the 9/11 Islamic terrorists were Saudi.
Is the U.S. government more cowardly than the socialist Canadian government?
Even if Saudis had never attacked the US, there would be abundant reasons for the US to take actions, including sanctions, against the Saudi dictators. Saudi Arabia bans the Bible, bans free speech, bans religious freedom, bans conversion to Christianity and persecutes Christians.
What is the U.S. government waiting to condemn and sanction Saudi Arabia?

Canadian Paradise: Only for Homosexual Thugs, Not for Christians

Canadian Paradise: Only for Homosexual Thugs, Not for Christians

By Julio Severo
As far as Christians are concerned, free speech is an endangered species in Canada. Prominent homosexual activists Christopher Hudspeth and George Smitherman, a former Liberal Deputy Premier, have filed a $104-million class action lawsuit against Christian activist Bill Whatcott for infiltrating the 2016 Toronto gay pride parade while he and his Christian friends were dressed as “gay zombies” in green suits to distribute leaflets which graphically warned about the health dangers of homosexual sex and accused socialist politicians of being in cahoots with the gay agenda.
They are suing Whatcott for mental distress on behalf of Toronto’s entire gay community and for libel against various socialist leaders including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The allegations of “mental distress” are comical, because the vast majority of gay parade’s over one million participants never came into contact with Whatcott.
Danielle McLaughlin, former Education Director at the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, who herself marched at the gay parade and describes Whatcott as a “homophobic sexist”, couldn’t help mocking the homosexual activists who are suing him:
“Really? What kind of damage have they suffered as a result of Whatcott’s flyers? Has former Ontario deputy premier George Smitherman, one of the lead plaintiffs, lost status in the community because of Whatcott’s flyers? Did the Prime Minister have to go into hiding because of the publications (or did he march in two subsequent Pride parades?) Did my LGBTQ family members and friends experience pain and suffering as a result of Whatcott’s words? Not that I noticed or heard about.”
Their class action lawsuit may seem ridiculous, but Hudspeth and Smitherman know exactly what they are doing. This is a fear campaign, intended to silence all Christian activists and journalists who may be critical of the gay agenda. The demand for $104 million is meant to show just how giant the plaintiffs’ boxing gloves are, threatening financial ruin to all those who dare squeak in opposition.
Whatcott, with other Christians, had paid the $100 fee to the Toronto Gay Pride Parade organizers to register their invented “Gay Zombies Cannabis Consumers Association” so that they could move more easily along the parade route to distribute a pamphlet that showed graphic images of diseases associated with same-sex behaviors, including anal warts and AIDS.
The pamphlet was not forced on homosexuals.
“I asked them if they wanted ‘Zombie safe sex,’” Whatcott told LifeSiteNews at the time.  “Everyone loved it. But, if you try to give out a Gospel pamphlet, they swear at you and throw slushies on your forehead. But, give them some wackadoddle thing that looks like a condom, and they really can’t grab it fast enough. I had three thousand out in 20 minutes,” he said.
One part of the pamphlet stated: “Natural law is clear, homosexuality is incompatible with human nature. Disease, death and confusion are the sad and sordid realities of the homosexual lifestyle. The ‘Gay Zombies’ are concerned about the spiritual, psychological and physical welfare of all potential homosexual pride attendees, so we want to give you this accurate information and encourage you to abstain from the homosexuality.”
Whatcott said that the goal of his “Gay Zombies Cannabis Consumers Association” in participating in the gay parade was twofold: First, to be a prophetic and unambiguous witness against the unfettered celebration of homosexuality, and second, to offer people caught up in the same-sex lifestyle a way out through a call to repent and to turn to Jesus Christ to be saved.”
Whatcott knows homosexuality very well. In his 2014 autobiography Born in a Graveyard, Whatcott reveals his experience of not only being raped by another male in prison, but of selling himself to a man to pay for his drug addiction. Whatcott makes it clear that his activism is inspired by his concern for others — based on his past of involvement in homosexuality.
Whatcott has become famous for his creative ways to give the Gospel to homosexual sinners. In 2014 he marched in the Vancouver Gay Pride Parade as a member of a church he invented: The Calgary Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. There, he distributed pamphlets.
In 2013, the Supreme Court of Canada found Whatcott guilty of so-called “hate speech” for distributing flyers in Saskatchewan in 2001-02 that criticized homosexual practices.
Canada is a “developed” nation that fully guarantees unilateral free speech to anti-Christians. In fact, anti-Christians — especially homosexualists and Muslims — are entitled to verbal and legal aggression against Christians. Canada is truly a “developed” infernal paradise.
In the “developed” Canada, if you offer the Gospel, they swear at you. But if you offer a pamphlet about kinky zombie sex and cannabis, they love!
Bill Whatcott’s case is being used by the Canadian homosexual activism to frighten Christians into hiding themselves in the closet and hiding their Christian testimony about the physical, moral, spiritual and mental hopelessness of the homosexual behavior and the only ultimate answer: Jesus Christ.

Beware of False Conservatives! Neocons and Their Leftist Mistreatment of Christians

Beware of False Conservatives! Neocons and Their Leftist Mistreatment of Christians

By Julio Severo
I received a report yesterday from Peter LaBarbera, one of the major Christian voices against the gay agenda in America, that he was detained by customs agents when he entered Canada. They did an intense search of his phone, laptop and belongings.
No, no. LaBarbera is not an Islamic terrorist. According to the Gaystapo and the politically-correct mob, he is worse: he is “homophobic” — a vague term that can be loosely interpreted to refer to criminals or merely Christians quoting Bible verses condemning homosexual sins.
The Canadian agents confiscated from LaBarbera a DVD copy of a new Russian documentary called “Sodom” as potential “hate propaganda” in violation of Canadian law banning material or people who could potentially “incite hate” based on “sexual orientation.”
“Sodom,” which features an interview with American pro-family leader Scott Lively of Defend the Family International, just shows the traditional Christian stance that homosexuality is a sexual perversion.
LaBarbera was entering Canada to attend his own trial in a court because his peaceful protest April 12 against abortion and sodomy at a Canadian public university was considered “hate.”
Ironically, the Canadian government that has mistreated LaBarbera is the conservative government of Stephen Harper, in power for many years. Canadian Christians had voted for him to avoid mistreatment by the Left against Christians who oppose abortion and sodomy, and now they suffer a leftist treatment in the hands of a conservative government.
“Conservative” Canada is becoming a dangerous place for pro-life and pro-family Christians. You can freely protest sodomy and abortion in Russia, but not in Canada.

LaBarbera’s Friend

I spent my day yesterday with an American friend of LaBarbera. He was the director of a Christian pro-family organization in a U.S. state.
Seeing the relentless advance of the homosexual agenda and its advocates, he was determined to fight it with no compromise.
But some well-funded “conservative” voices in his state thought that a compromise was vitally important: “since pro-family organizations could not allow homosexual ‘marriage,’ at least they should let homosexual activists have civil unions.” My friend correctly understood that civil unions were a significant stepping stone for higher claims, including homosexual “marriage.” So he resisted these voices, coming especially from groups connected to neocons.
Then came the battle between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney in the last U.S. presidential election. The same voices said, “Romney is the only conservative option to defeat Obama!” Conservative? My friend and other real conservatives knew that the first state to legalize homosexual “marriage” in the U.S. was Massachusetts, under Governor Mitt Romney, who became the first U.S. governor to pass a law turning sodomy into official marriage.

Satan and Beelzebub

Alan Keyes, a conservative Catholic, denounced, in an excellent WND article, that the choice between Obama and Romney was actually “A choice between Satan and Beelzebub.”
But neocons won. They said that it was non-sense not to support Romney. The priority, they said, was to defeat Obama.
My friend was removed from the headship of the pro-family organization because Christian conservatives were misled into choosing Beelzebub to defeat Satan… And while he mentioned to me the LaBarbera report on his detainment for “homophobia,” he told how powerful neocons are among conservatives in America.
Neocons have much more political power and money than most Christians who engage in pro-family battles just for defending their families. But neocons have “higher” interests, especially ultranationalistic interests at the expense of moral and Christian values.
What happens when Christian conservatives vote for the neocons’ conservatives? Just look at the “conservative” government of Canada and its leftist mistreatment of Peter LaBarbera.

“Conservatives” in the United Kingdom

In the United Kingdom, Christians also vote for conservatives to protect themselves from this leftist mistreatment. But what have they got?
The British government under David Cameron, of the Conservative Party, has passed a law transforming sodomy into official marriage.
First, the political “conservative” talk was: “let’s fight against homosexual ‘marriage,’ but at least let homosexual activists get civil unions.” Next: “Now, let them get homosexual ‘marriage’!” This is not conservative. This is neocon, or false conservative.
Now, according to WND, British homosexuals are suing to force churches to marry them! Everything began with a “conservative” government compromising, compromising and compromising.
The next talk will be: “homosexual ‘marriage’ is not important. Conservatives should focus on more important subjects.” Important for neocons, of course.
Both Canada and the United Kingdom are major references for our understanding that to vote for conservatives (or false conservatives) is not a solution. It may become another serious problem.

Neocons and Christian Persecution

The British “conservative” government follows neocon interests, not conservative interests. According to Murad Makhmudov and Lee Jay Walker, Christian persecution follows neocon ambitions, which have inflamed torture and murder of Christians in Kosovo, Libya, Iraq, Syria and other nations. They point that the U.S. and the United Kingdom are the main tools for facilitating the neocons’ Christian persecution.
So neocons are capable of misleading conservative Christians into choosing their “conservative” candidates. Next, they are equally capable of imposing leftist mistreatment of Christians in their countries while at the same time stimulating torture and murder of Christians abroad.
Even so, neocons have been hijacking conservative feelings everywhere, misleading their victims that their candidates are better than their enemies.
In the recent Brazilian presidential election, U.S. neocons were actively engaged, as I told in my article “Obama Strategist in the Brazilian Presidential Campaign.” Their candidate was pro-gay agenda, but Brazilian conservatives were misled to think: “The homosexual agenda should not be important now.” The important thing was to defeat neocons’ enemies.
In this case, as many Brazilians told me, if Obama was with neocons, he is a hero!
I do not understand why neocons are called new conservatives, because they are willing to support any cause, conservative or leftist, that advances the U.S. supremacy.
Alan Keyes is right. Leftist candidates do not deserve our support. And definitely neocons’ candidates do not deserve it too.

Jesus and the Wicked Rulers

For a real conservative Christian, there is another point. When only the wicked rule, Christians should focus their attention only on spiritual priorities: the preaching of the Gospel and the salvation of sinners.
When the Roman Empire dominated Israel, Jesus never instigated his disciples about political issues. Of course, if there is a candidate who is not anti-family, we are free to support him. But political ambitions were never Jesus’ priority or concern. He was never obsessed about supporting a wicked ruler against another wicked ruler. In fact, he never instigated his disciples in these obsessions.
When political strategists manipulate conservatives, I think in LaBarbera being detained by a conservative government for his Christian stance against abortion and homosexuality. I think in my American friend being removed from the headship of a pro-family organization because well-funded neocons think that the supremacy of the U.S. politics should take a precedence over pro-family issues too. I think in British churches being sued to marry homosexuals. And I think in Christians in Syria and Iraq being beheaded because of the U.S. and U.K. neocon funding to the Islamic cutthroats.
By this point, we should have learnt something from Jesus’ example and the neocons’ deception.
