Trump’s Reelection: Evangelical Prophecies Failed

Trump’s Reelection: Evangelical Prophecies Failed

By Julio Severo

Political campaigns can lead people, even Christians, to a level of passion and activism parallel only to evangelism, which should be passionate because of its important mission of leading people to Jesus and His salvation.

Christians can be carried away by such campaigns from the left or right.

Even though it is a horror a Christian embracing any kind of socialism, it was horrifying to see prophets in 2020 prophesying something that God never told them and never sent them to tell. They were carried away by political delusions, and predictably their prophecies never were fulfilled.

Carried away by herd political delusion, major prophets said that Donald Trump would be reelected. No problem for God to fulfill what He promises.

The problem is: even though in His mercy God allowed Trump to get a first term, in His sovereignty He did not allow him to have a second term. And the reasons are not obscure.

Trump and his administration were championing the same homosexual agenda that was always condemned by evangelical leaders when it was promoted by left-wing administrations, including Barrack Hussein Obama.

Yet, these leaders remained silent about Trump’s pro-sodomy stances. They were vocal to prophesize what God did not say (Trump’s reelection) and had no voice to say what God said:

“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22 ESV)

They should be vocal in their Christian stance that the Trump administration was promoting and condoning an abomination around the world. But they remained silent about what God’s Word says and opened their mouths to say that God had given Trump a victorious reelection.

God remained, as ever, faithful to His Word, not to the “prophetic” words of prophets carried away by passionate political campaigns.

Now, many of these prophets are presenting their public apologies for their failed prophecies, leaving many Christians confused about prophets and their prophecies.

Perhaps the most important lesson to be learned from this “prophetic” failure is that, regardless of who is in the White House, Christian leaders have a biblical responsibility to speak to the president what God says in His Word. All of them should clearly say to Trump that he was promoting an abomination.

Their silence about God’s Word and an open mouth to express their passionate political prophecies tainted their ministries and showed that God is not subjected to the whims of His prophets carried away by political passions.

This is not the first time that prophets are misled by the deceit of their hearts. God’s Word says:

“And the LORD said to me: ‘The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.’” (Jeremiah 14:14 ESV)

“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts: ‘Hear the word of the LORD!’” (Ezekiel 13:2 ESV)

“How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart.” (Jeremiah 23:26 ESV)

They prophesied lying visions, worthless divination and the deceit of their own hearts — because their minds were much busier with a political candidate than with God, who rules the destiny of the world.

They behaved in political desperation thinking that God had the obligation to have the same political desperation. For them, God had an obligation to intervene to hinder Joe Biden, the Democratic Party and their nasty socialism.

Yet, God has no obligation to tolerate a pro-sodomy “conservative” candidate to defeat a pro-sodomy socialist candidate. Sheer delusion!

And He does not like when the prophetic ministry is manipulated by politicians.

God always fulfills what He promises. He destroyed Sodom because of sodomy (homosexuality). But He has no obligation to fulfil the political whims of His prophets, especially when they refuse to condemn the abomination supported by the political candidate they chose.

Can God give Trump a second chance? Yes, but firstly Christian leaders should close their mouths about their prophecies with lying visions, worthless divination and the deceit of their own hearts and open their mouths to speak what God says in His Word.

Trump and America need to hear loud and clear: Homosexuality is an abomination in God’s sight. They need to hear and repent.

Famous Televangelist Pat Robertson, Who Had Prophesied on October 2020 that Trump Would Be Reelected, Now Says Biden Won and that Trump Lives in “Alternate Reality”

Famous Televangelist Pat Robertson, Who Had Prophesied on October 2020 that Trump Would Be Reelected, Now Says Biden Won and that Trump Lives in “Alternate Reality”

By Julio Severo

“First of all, I want to say without question, Trump is going to win the election,” said televangelist Pat Robertson on October 2020. “He’s going to win. That’s, I think, a given.” He is the founder of the famous TV show the 700 Club, which is watched by millions of evangelicals around the world.

Pat Robertson

A staunch supporter of Trump, Robertson had predicted that Trump would win reelection, and that there would “be at least two attempts on the Trump’s life.”

He then predicted that there would be social unrest after Trump's win, and also Israel would be at war.

Then there would be “at least five years or more of extraordinary peace” before an asteroid would hit Earth, according to The Hill newspaper.

The 90-year-old Robertson has predicted Earth’s destruction several times through his decades-long career.

Yet, after the Electoral College chose radical socialist Joe Biden as president, Robertson changed his mind.

“I think it’s all over,” the conservative televangelist said. “I think the Electoral College has spoken. I think the Biden corruption has not totally been brought to fruition, but it doesn’t seem to be affecting the Electoral College.”

“I don’t think the Supreme Court is going to move in to do anything and I think we’re going to see a President Biden and I also think we’ll be seeing a President Kamala Harris, not too long after the Inauguration of President Biden.”

Robertson said that he believes Trump “lives in an alternate reality,” arguing that while many say that the president lies a lot, “to him that’s the truth.”

Robertson’s comments came on an episode of “The 700 Club” that aired on 21 December 2020. He recognized that the devotion the evangelical community was vital for Trump.

“There was something about him that was good, that God placed him in that office for the time. He has done a marvelous job for the economy,” he said.

“But at the same time, he is very erratic and he’s fired people, he’s fought people, and he’s insulted people… it’s a mixed bag. And I think it would be well to say, ‘You’ve had your day, it’s time to move on.’”

The problem is that with 90 years, Robertson is too old to see with clarity spiritual and political issues. He did a very good work 40 and 50 years ago, but old age has taken a heavy toll in his spiritual vision. The old warrior should do as Billy Graham did: live and rest in a cabin, cared by his family. If Trump’s time is over, so is Robertson’s time on television.

Robertson also expressed concern about the socialist trends coming to the United States under Biden and that, as a president, socialist Biden will likely reverse many of Trump’s conservative positions. At least in this view, Robertson saw correctly.

Regarding a possible Trump campaign in 2024, Robertson said that Trump running again would be a “tremendous mistake,” preferring instead as a presidential candidate former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. But this is a very strange stance for a conservative televangelist, because Haley has a mixed political history not much favorable to conservatism. Besides, she practices a hybrid faith, professing at the same time the Protestant faith and the Sikh faith — a pagan religion from India.

U.S. Christians should pray that Robertson may refrain from prophesying that religious hybrid Haley will be president.

This is not the first sin of Robertson. In 2018 his 700 Club, which should be a tool only for the Gospel, supported neoconservatives and their bloody wars. In the same year, in a neocon move Robertson supported the sale of U.S. arms to Saudi Arabia, which has a history of terrorism and persecution of Christians.

Although Trump has not recognized Biden’s victory, many Trump supporters, including some major conservative Christian leaders, have acknowledged Biden president.

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Albert Mohler Jr., who did not vote for Trump in 2016 but supported him in 2020, said Biden “is now the president-elect of the United States.” He is a Council member of the Gospel Coalition, a Calvinist group with strange stances on the homosexual sin.

“I did not want Joe Biden to be elected president of the United States, but he is now the president-elect,” he said.

The Rev. Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said that while he acknowledged Biden’s victory, he also said that “I tend to believe” Trump when “Trump says that this election has been rigged or stolen.”

“He has a track record of being right. Pray for President Trump, pray for Joe Biden, and pray for our nation—that we will get through this, and for God’s will be done,” wrote Graham on his Facebook page on Dec. 19.

It is so sad that so many Americans do not care about Biden’s corruption and socialism. Christians can pray for Biden, but such prayer does not exempt them from praying against his corruption and socialism. God cannot bless what he does not approve of, and he never condones socialism and corruption and falsehood, even among right-wingers and occultists masked as conservatives and right-wingers.

Corruption and socialism should be exterminated on all levels. For this to happen, Christians need to make the commitment to pray for the defeat of these two evils.

Christians need to seek the baptism and supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit

Christians need to seek the baptism and supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit

By Julio Severo
Seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit. After salvation, this is the most important spiritual experience.
Seek the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially the gift of prophecy. The Bible teaches:
“Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.” (1 Corinthians 14:1 ESV)
When the Apostle Paul dealt with the church in Corinth, there was an abundance of dysfunction and misuse of the gifts there. Instead of forbidding the gifts, he gave biblical instructions on how to use them.
The Corinthian church was full of supernatural gifts, sins, and scandals.
Not only did Paul not forbid the gifts in a church where they were abused, but he encouraged them to seek more gifts.
He dealt with sins, abuses and scandals without extinguishing the flame of the Spirit.
It is a stark contrast to modern Pharisaical theologians who use (real or imagined) misuse of gifts in some churches as an example that Christians should avoid such gifts, when Paul did just the opposite.
Paul’s biblical example is:
* Where there are no supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, Christians need to study God’s Word and earnestly seek them.
* Where the gifts are abused, Christians need to study and practice the Word even more and seek the gifts much more, especially the gift of prophecy — following the path of love.
Churches that reject the gifts need Paul’s instruction.
Churches that have scandals and abuse gifts also need Paul’s instruction.

Theological Zombie Tries to Turn Author of the Gospel of Luke into Zombie

Theological Zombie Tries to Turn Author of the Gospel of Luke into Zombie

What would be left of the Gospel of Luke if it had been written by a cessationist theologian?

By Julio Severo
I just saw the sermon of a famous Presbyterian theologian who used Luke as an example that not all of Jesus’ disciples had visions, revelations, and prophecies. Not content with living cessationism for himself, he has tried to turn Luke into a cessationist. He has tried to recreate Luke according to his cessationist image and likeness.
He used Revelation and the Gospel of Luke as a comparison, saying that the author of Revelation had revelations while the author of the Gospel of Luke had none.
Cessationism is the heresy that teaches that the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit ceased two thousand years ago.
There is no biblical basis for the idea that Luke had no vision, revelation, prophecy, and supernatural experiences with God. There is also no biblical basis for the cessationist heresy. But let’s just assume that the Presbyterian theologian is right.
In his Gospel, Luke wrote about abundance of Jesus’ miracles in his day without raising a single question. If the Presbyterian theologian were in Luke’s place, would he write about such miracles, including about a virgin girl getting pregnant by the Holy Spirit, without raising any questions?
The Presbyterian theologian has several books. None of these books mention abundance of miracles today. But they bring plenty of questions and cynical attacks against those who believe that God acts today, including by giving visions, revelations, and prophecies.
If by a fate of destiny, the Presbyterian theologian had to write the Gospel in place of Luke, would we see abundance of miracles without question? No. We would inevitably have a gospel full of questions without any miracles.
In turn, if Luke were alive today in the place of the Presbyterian theologian, he would write several books showing the miracles God is performing today among Jesus’ followers, with visions, revelations, and prophecies.
Were there heresies and false miracles in Jesus’ day? There were, but Luke’s focus was true miracles. Were there false prophecies, visions, and revelations in Jesus’ day? There were, but Luke’s focus was true prophecies, visions, and revelations. If he were alive today, Luke’s focus would not change. He would exalt what is true.
What would you prefer? The Gospel of Luke, full of miracles and without any questioning of these miracles or the gospel of the Presbyterian theologian, full of questions about miracles and no miracles?
This theologian, aware or not, is a legitimate heir to the Pharisees, who were the greatest theologians of the Bible in Jesus’ day. They were pompous and always ready, using theology and distorting the Bible abundantly, to question all the miracles of Jesus and his apostles. They were always ready to attribute to the devil the operations of the Holy Spirit.
Modern Pharisees, equally using theology and distorting the Bible abundantly, are always ready to question all the miracles of Jesus through his followers today. They are always ready to attribute to the devil the workings of the Holy Spirit.
As Solomon said in Ecclesiastes, “There is nothing new under the sun.” There is nothing new in today’s pompous Pharisaic theologism.
Theological zombies always seek to transform others according to their own image and likeness of zombies. This is why Jesus said to theologians of his day,
“How horrible it will be for you, scribes and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You cross land and sea to recruit a single follower, and when you do, you make that person twice as fit for hell as you are.” (Matthew 23:15 GWV)
It’s not just witches that lead people to hell. Theological zombies, with their questions against the Holy Spirit, can make theology and its twisted interpretations of the Bible produce victims who become twice as fit for hell as they are themselves.

Trump and Prophecies, and a New Model of National and World Leader

Trump and Prophecies, and a New Model of National and World Leader

By Julio Severo
There are some prophecies about President Donald Trump, and they are fascinating. “Trump shall become a trumpet, says the Lord,” the South African “singing prophet” Kim Clement bellowed in a recording reportedly made April 4, 2007, in Redding, California.
“Trump shall become a trumpet. I will raise up the Trump to become a trumpet. I will raise up the Trump to become a trumpet and Bill Gates to open up the gate of a financial realm for the church, says the Lord.”
Clement went on to say, or sing: “It shall come to pass that the man I place in the highest office shall go in whispering my name. But God said, when he enters into office, he will be shouting out by the power of the Spirit. For I shall fill him with my Spirit when he goes into office and there will be a praying man in the highest seat in your land.”
He said something similar, according to the recording, on Feb. 10, 2007: “There will be a praying president, not a religious one, for I will fool the people, says the Lord. I will fool the people, yes I will, God says, the one that is chosen shall go in and they shall say, ‘He has hot blood.’ For the Spirit of God says, yes, he may have hot blood, but he will bring the walls of protection on this country in a greater way and the economy of this country shall change rapidly, says the Lord of hosts.”
“Listen to the word of the Lord, God says, I will put at your helm for two terms a president that will pray, but he will not be a praying president when he starts,” Clement continued. “I will put him in office and then I will baptize him with the Holy Spirit and my power, says the Lord of hosts.”
Clement also prophesied about several other prominent people, but these prophecies have never been fulfilled. Can his prophecy about Trump come true? I do not know, but if his prophecy is real, my interpretation is that God is giving Trump a chance, as he gave Saul a chance. There is no harm in praying that Trump may use his God-given opportunity to do God’s will.
There are also other interesting prophecies about Trump. Stephen Powell, in a recent article in Charisma magazine, said he heard God’s voice saying:
I have chosen you Mr. Trump, and you will be a leader to many, not just of your people, but of the world. You will not just be seen, Mr. Trump, but you will be heard, for I have released a sound in you, and that sound shall be heard around the world. It will ring true and loud, and be like a shock wave in many countries.
As you honor Israel, I will honor you.
I have chosen Donald Trump to forerun a new model of national leader; yea, even a new form of world leader.
Actually, Trump’s speech against neocons was a breakthrough, a new model of leadership. No other American president has ever spoken so forcefully against neocons as Trump did in his political campaign. Will he fulfill the war he promised to wage against neocons? I do not know.
Are these prophecies about Trump trustworthy? I do not know. But there is no harm in praying that Trump may use his God-given opportunity to do God’s will.
I was ecstatic that the first action of President Donald Trump was to defund the International Planned Parenthood Federation, this vast machine of family planning, abortion and sex education. This is one of the evilest organizations in the world.
Christians, including me, rejoiced in the first big pro-life action by Trump.
Yet, George W. Bush took the exact same action in the first day of his administration. He defunded the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
Christians, including me, rejoiced in the first big pro-life action by Bush.
And, yes, there were wonderful prophecies about Bush.
Many years ago, Hank Kunneman said:
“After Clinton, I will raise up a man like David,” the Lord said. “A chosen man after My heart who will lead this nation in righteousness.”
I had a vision just before the 2000 election in which I saw the Lord remove Al Gore and place Bush in the White House. I prophesied about this publicly, so you can imagine my concern when newscasters initially announced that Gore had won. I wanted to hide!
“America will enter a season of war, but restoration has begun. I want this man seated for eight years, for as righteousness is seated, all things will be exposed.”
Prophets and their prophecies are never perfect. Even though we know now that Saudi Arabia is the main sponsor of international Islamic terrorism and that the ten terrorists who attacked the World Trade Center were Saudi Muslims, Kunneman said,
Like many churches, my congregation met to pray on September 11, 2001. While praying, I asked the Lord who was responsible for the attack. I then had a vision of a heart with the word “Afghanistan” written in the center. The words “Syria” and “Iraq” appeared around it.
Because Bush and Obama intervened in these nations, but did not help Christians persecuted in the aftermath of their bad decisions, the U.S. interventions resulted in total chaos for Christians.
The Iraq War was a humanitarian disaster for Christians. During his campaign, Donald Trump said that the Bush administration lied about his reasons to invade Iraq. Trump said that he opposed such invasion. Christians in Iraq took a very heavy toll for Bush’s bad decision. The Iraqi Christian community, which was over 2 million before the U.S. invasion, is now less than 400,000.
Bush had a very strong interest in the Iraq oil, but no interest in the Christian blood of Iraqis.
Neocons wanted the Iraq War, and they got it. They want the Syrian War, and under Obama they almost got it. And, of course, they want war with Russia.
Neocons represent war and disaster and even when an evangelical follows them, the result is always war and disaster.
The biggest mistake of evangelical Bush was to follow neocons. It was a disastrous mistake.
Evangelical Trump, praised by new prophecies, has condemned the Iraq War. And he has condemned neocons, who dominated in the Bush and Obama administrations.
The Trump chosen by prophecies condemned the Bush chosen by prophecies. In fact, Bush said that he did not vote for Trump.
People chosen by God through prophecies are imperfect. Prophets and their prophecies are imperfect.
Even though people and their ideologies (including theological ideologies) always change, God never changes. He was, He is and He will always be a prophetic God.
God chose Saul as king of Israel. But He needed to replace His own choice. Is He imperfect too? Very early in his kingship, or administration, Saul violated God’s will several times, and he was rejected. The chosen was rejected.
Does God know how to choose? Of course, He does! But free will is for everyone, including those chosen by God.
God replaced the loser Saul with David, who behaved rightly and wisely in the early years of his kingship. But the David administration was plagued, after his adultery, by several calamities, including a violent uprising led by one of his own sons.
God chose Saul, who by his own free will chose to be a loser by violating God’s will.
God replaced the chosen Saul with David, who did not lose his kingship, but lost much of his peace of mind and his people also lost much of their peace of mind by his adultery. His personal sin severely affected his administration and ability to rule in peace.
Just because a man is chosen by God does not mean that he will do everything right. Saul did not and was rejected. David also committed many mistakes, but he repented, and God chose to give him more chances.
If evangelical leaders who prophesied about Bush and Trump are false prophets, is God also a false god because He chose the loser and imperfect Saul?
If prophecies are correct, God wants Trump to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and become a praying president. There is no harm in praying that Trump may get these blessings.
There is no harm in praying that he may not imitate the calamitous mistakes of Bush.
And there is no harm in praying that God may protect him from the wicked influence and pressures from neocons, who inspired Bush to launch the Iraq War, which destroyed thousands of Christians in Iraq.
God can use Trump against neocons. And in this war, he will be a new model of national and world leader.
