Columbia psychology professor, who is a Black activist, admits to being a proud heroin addict

Columbia psychology professor, who is a Black activist, admits to being a proud heroin addict

By Julio Severo

A Columbia University professor of psychology and neuroscience says he snorts heroin and takes other drugs to feel “refreshed” and “prepared to face another day.”

Carl Hart

Carl Hart, 54, says that he does “recreational” psychoactive drugs to “study” their effects on humans. He is the chair of the prestigious Columbia University’s psych department.

“There aren’t many things in life that I enjoy more than a few lines by the fireplace at the end of the day,” he wrote.

Hart hopes that coming clean about his drug use will help lead to the decriminalization of illegal drugs.

For Hart, to oppose drug use makes racism strong. He even launched a book titled “Drug Use for Grown-ups: Chasing Liberty in the Land of Fear.”

“He draws on decades of research and his own personal experience to argue definitively that the criminalization and demonization of drug use — not drugs themselves — have been a tremendous scourge on America, not least in reinforcing this country’s enduring structural racism,” the publisher noted.

The psychology professor argued that “drugs can enrich and enhance our lives.”

The professor also admitted he has taken other drugs, including meth, and has rolled on MDMA — which is often referred to by its street names like Molly and ecstasy.

Hart described taking MDMA as an “intense feelings of pleasure, gratitude and energy.”

He even found pleasure in snorting a version of so-called bath salts, a synthetic cathinone that’s been linked to disturbing behavior from barking to breaking into homes. Hart’s assessment: “unequivocally wonderful.”

Hart has often defended black activism.

In June 2020, he wrote the article titled “When Justice for Black People Begins, the Looting Will Stop.” That is, he justified looting while the demands of black Marxist groups as Black Lives Matter (BLM) are not met.

In the article, Hart wrote that the “repulsive killings” of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd by the police “have forced many individuals and institutions to self-examine their roles in perpetuating centuries of anti-Black racism.”

Hart admitted that Floyd’s toxicology report revealed that, in his system, he had methamphetamine, fentanyl and tetrahydrocannabinol, the drug present in marijuana.

But, for Hart, drugs in Floyd were no problem, especially now that both Hart and BLM are using the Floyd case to advance their own ideologies, including Marxism and drug legalization.

Some would say that only a drug addict could support looting and other crimes committed by BLM. Hart is an evidence of this.

By this point, others would ask how such drug addict and black activist who supports looting was given the presidency of the psychology department in one of the most prestigious universities in the United States. Did he whine that he was a black deprived of opportunities and that no black had ever chaired such psychology department in Columbia? Did such ideological pressure lead his university to give him the position?

“Our founding document guarantees us at least three birthrights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” he said, thinking that drug use has everything to do with “pursuit of happiness.”

The document he mentioned was written by a U.S. population 98 percent Protestant who believed that without God and the Bible was impossible to have a healthy society. Yet, for Hart, it would be impossible to have a “healthy” society without drug use, black Marxist activism and psychology, which helps him to see as normal what is not normal.

Only in an unhealthy society could sick individuals admit that they are proud of their sins.

In Hart’s case, mix psychology, Marxism, drug use and black activism and the end result is moral and spiritual chaos. As the chair of the psychology department in Columbia, he is now in a position to promote his personal chaos to his students.

Megachurch pastor who treated depression as a mental health issue kills himself at age 30 after officiating at the funeral of a woman who had also killed herself

By Julio Severo
A popular pastor known for his campaign in Christian churches treating depression and suicide thoughts as mental health issues has killed himself.
Jarrid Wilson, an associate pastor at megachurch Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, killed himself. He was 30.
Wilson, a married father of two, had officiated at the funeral of a woman who took her own life just before his own suicide.
He was the founder of an evangelical group called Anthem of Hope, which offers professional psychological assistance to help people dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts.
Wilson’s suicide came during the National Suicide Prevention Week. Many of his final tweets were on the subject of mental health treatment, urging his followers to seek psychologists.
In a post on Monday, he wrote, “Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure depression. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure PTSD. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure anxiety. But that doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t offer us companionship and comfort. He ALWAYS does that.”
Wilson openly described his own mental health challenges in his most recent book, “Love Is Oxygen: How God Can Give You Life And Change Your World.”
He blogged earlier this summer that he had dealt with “severe depression throughout most of my life and contemplated suicide on multiple occasions.”
In addition to his wife, Wilson is survived by his two sons, Finch and Denham, his mother, father, and siblings.
All the major Christian websites reporting on his suicide praised his Christian testimony without, however, condemning suicide.
Jarrid’s family deserves all compassion. But suicide and the culture, within and outside the church, favoring it deserve no compassion at all.
We are not in a position to judge what happened to Jarrid after his suicide, but the excess of empathy for him and other Christians who killed themselves and the non-judgment and positive environment that does not criticize and condemn the act of suicide today are strange to the Bible culture, which did not know such positive environment for suicide. In fact, in God’s Word all the suicide cases involved people in rebellion against God. Jude is only one of the examples.
If in the Bible there were the same non-judgment and positive environment for suicide we see creeping in the church today it is safe conclude that we would see in the Bible several of God’s men and women taking their lives. But we do not see it.
While today there is a growing trend for Christians to seek “professional psychologic” assistance, in the Bible God’s men and women just sought the Lord with all their hearts and they received answers.
So while there is today a culture, within and outside the church, not discouraging suicide when discussing people who killed themselves, there was a totally negative suicide culture in the Bible discouraging good people from killing themselves.
To say that “Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts” is nonsensical leading to two inevitable conclusions: Jesus is unable to deal with demonic voices whispering in the mind that their victims should take their lives or that the victims have not sought the Lord as they should, because if “professional psychologic” assistance is the only hope, then it follows that people in the Bible who had no access to such “assistance” had no hope at all and should have had a higher suicides rate. But they had not such higher rate. In fact, the Bible clearly shows that suicide had no presence among God’s people. Our Christian generation who seeks more “professional psychologic” assistance than they seek God have actually these higher rates.
Cannot the true answer be in the fact that they had the “God is the only help” Gospel while today there is another gospel offering psychological assistance? The problem is that when people offer the latter gospel, even they have not found the answers they offer to others.
Such now is the tragedy that those receiving and those giving psychological assistance within the churches just end in suicide.
Do I know what depression and suicide thoughts are? Yes, I do, and I defeated them. When I was baptized in the Holy Spirit decades ago, depression was defeated. When I learnt how to use the authority of Jesus’ name, all demons whispering suicide thoughts were defeated.
What does God say in the Bible to people in depression?
“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psalm 50:15 NKJV)
“He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” (Psalm 91:15 NKJV)
The Bible teaches that Christian ministers are models for the congregation to follow. So if a minister has regularly suicide thoughts, why is he kept in his pastoral capacity as a good model before defeating the demons who whisper suicide thoughts in his head?
If David, who wrote most Psalms, prevailed over anguish in his soul — what people call today depression — with no assistance of psychologists and if multitudes of God’s people in the Bible defeated depression just by seeking God with all their hearts, why cannot Christians and ministers today follow their example?
Why should Christians follow the so-called Christian experts in “mental health” if they themselves are killing themselves?

Two Brazilian lesbians stab a boy one year after cutting off his sex organ to make him a “girl,” but the press and psychologists refuse to link the crime to homosexual behavior

By Julio Severo
Obsessive lesbian behavior. This was the life in the last five years of Rosana da Silva Candido, 27, and Kacyla Damasceno Pessoa, 28, who killed with knife blows boy Rhuan Maycon, 9, son of Rosana, on May 31, 2019.
Lesbians Rosana da Silva Candido and Kacyla Damasceno Pessoa
According to testimony given at the police station, the two Brazilian lesbians had severed the boy’s penis about a year ago.
“It was kind of a sex-change surgery. After removing the penis, they sewed the mutilated region and improvised a version of a female genital organ, making a cut in the groin,” said Claudia Regina Carvalho from the Child Protective Services.
The lesbian mother wanted to turn him into a girl.
With no medical follow-up, the boy went through physical suffering that culminated one year later with the two lesbians killing Rhuan with knife blows while he slept.
Rhuan
Psychologists hastily asserted that the crime had no connection with homosexual behavior, called by the left of “sexual orientation.”
Interestingly, when a crime case appears to indicate homosexuals as victims, psychologists are quick to point out that the alleged victims suffered because they were homosexual. When the case is negative for the homosexual image, they simply reject any homosexual connection.
The mainstream press has had the same attitude. No major Brazilian newspaper, which routinely points to the homosexuality of alleged victims of crimes, called the two women involved in a violent crime against an innocent child lesbian.
The crime has shocked Brazil, but the homosexual factor of the crime was properly covered up and protected from a negative exposure in the media.
The international press, which always reports alleged crimes against homosexuals in Brazil pointing to the criminal’s anti-homosexual connection, has not reported anything about the Brazilian crime pointing to the homosexual nature of the crime.
The Brazilian public has asked how authorities failed to investigate the boy’s suffering at the hands of the two lesbians. Where was the father?
The father lived a sexual relationship, with no marriage, of almost two years with Rosana, who betrayed him to stay with lesbian Kacyla, who already had a daughter (now 8 years old) in 2014. After the betrayal, both fled.
Rhuan’s father recorded an incident report immediately and told the Brazilian press that for five years he had sought his son, had obtained his legal custody and sought the police and the Child Protective Services to help him. “We tried to save Rhuan. We published messages on the social media, we contacted police and the Child Protective Services. No one helped us,” said Maycon Douglas Lima de Castro, Rhuan’s father, in an interview with Brazilian news service UOL.
The two lesbians fled, moving from place to place. They were in several Brazilian states. They were able to escape the Child Protective Services, even though there had been denunciations against them since 2014. For five years the Child Protective Services could do nothing to save a boy tortured by two sadistic lesbians.
However, the cases in Brazil in which the Child Protective Services persecute fathers and mothers who educate their children at home in the educational choice called internationally homeschooling, totally legal and practiced in the United States and other advanced countries, are notorious. Even Russia grants parents the freedom to homeschool.
The Child Protective Services relentlessly persecute these families, who are not cutting off their boys’ penises or killing them with knife blows, the way they should have persecuted the two lesbians, but they did not do so.
The two lesbians practiced physical and psychological torture against boy Rhuan, forcing him to reject his masculinity. As for Kacyla’s daughter, the girl has an aversion to male figure, as the two lesbians convinced her that all men were aggressors and evil.
According to police, the two lesbians also planned to kill the girl, who witnessed their years of torture against her and her brother.
The Bolsonaro administration, which only took office this year, is not to blame for boy Rhuan’s murder, although it might have tried to do something in its first 5 months of government. The main culprit in those five years when the two lesbians lived fleeing and torturing a boy is the Child Protective Services that were under the responsibility of left-wing President Dilma Rousseff and then Michel Temer, who did nothing.
Leftism, which prevailed in the Rousseff era, does not care about crimes committed by homosexuals. Maybe that’s why no one in the Rousseff administration moved to answer the calls for help from a father who turned to the police and the Child Protective Services, but nobody helped him.
Right now, Brazil’s Federal Supreme Court is criminalizing the so-called “homophobia,” thus preventing any criticism of the homosexual behavior. The sinister result of such a draconian law is that physical and psychological torture by homosexuals, including indoctrination for children to hate men and murder of boys who are victims of homosexual sadism, can not be reported as homosexual crimes. Anyone who dares to tell the truth may be arrested.
Although President Jair Bolsonaro rightly accuses the press of fabricating fake news, no one in the Bolsonaro administration has until now spoken out on the fake news reports seeking to disconnect homosexuality from the torture and murder of Rhuan.
Boy Rhuan suffered torture for five years. Long before his penis was severed, his masculinity had already been violated. Even so, psychologists seek a million reasons for the crime, but find no satisfactory explanation, because they avoid the homosexual connection at all costs. The Bolsonaro administration is missing out on a golden chance to speak the truth.
The normalization of homosexuality in soap operas, music, movies and culture during many years in Brazil has brought as consequence two women who saw as normal their lesbian obsession and physical and psychological torture to turn a boy into a “girl” and to make a girl hate men.
While the Dilma administration favored alleged crimes against homosexuals and concealed crimes committed by homosexuals, I expect the Bolsonaro administration to do justice for Rhuan after his death, showing that homosexual relationships have actually links to perversions and violent crimes, including against children.

Therapy for individuals seeking exit from homosexual behavior is approved in Brazil and media misleadingly alleges that court ruled homosexuality is a disease

Therapy for individuals seeking exit from homosexual behavior is approved in Brazil and media misleadingly alleges that court ruled homosexuality is a disease

By Julio Severo
A Brazilian judge has ruled that psychologists are free to help individuals seeking exit from homosexual behavior.
Even though the judge’s decision does not say that homosexuality is a “disease” and that there is medical healing or cure, the U.S. media, which has refused to publish his decision, has used exactly such non-existent terms in the text.
Brasília-based Judge Waldemar Claudio de Carvalho’s decision overruled a 1999 resolution from the Federal Council of Psychology in Brazil (Brazilian Psychology Association) which prohibited psychologists from treating the homosexual condition of their clients.
The 1999 draconian resolution says:
It establishes norms of conduct for psychologists in regard to the subject of Sexual Orientation.
WHEREAS, homosexuality is not a disease, disturbance or perversion;
WHEREAS, Psychology can and should contribute through its knowledge to clarify the subjects of sexuality, helping to overcome prejudices and discriminations;
It determines:
Article 2: Psychologists should contribute, through their knowledge, to a reflection on prejudice and to the extinction of discrimination and stigmatizations against those demonstrating homoerotic behaviors or practices.
Article 3: Psychologists shall not use any action for making homoerotic behaviors or practices pathological, nor shall they use coercion to direct homosexuals to unsolicited treatments.
Sole paragraph: Psychologists shall not collaborate with events and services proposing treatment and cures of homosexualities.
Article 4: Psychologists shall not offer their opinions, nor will they participate in public pronouncements, in the media, with a view to reinforcing existing social prejudices in regard to homosexuals as sufferers of psychic disorders.
Psychologists are forbidden to express even their views about a hope for individuals seeking exit from homosexual behavior.
Yet, they are not forbidden to collaborate with communist events. Rogério Giannini, the president of the Federal Council of Psychology, attended “I Foro Internacional de Psicología, Violencia y Operaciones Psicológicas” (First International Forum of Psychology, Violence and Psychologic Operations) in Venezuela on June 11-15, 2017, whose stated purpose was “to address the violence that right-wing groups have intended to establish in Venezuela.”
Rogério Giannini and Nicolás Maduro
Communist dictator Nicolás Maduro was himself present in the event. Giannini saw no problem to lend his support to the communist congress of psychology to fight right-wing groups. And his Federal Council of Psychology saw no problem to pay him thousands in the Brazilian currency for helping him to travel and take part in the communist event.
The international media, especially the U.S. media, did not condemn Giannini’s participation in the communist event. But when communist-minded Giannini expressed his view against the judge’s injunction allowing psychologists to treat individuals seeking exit from homosexual behavior, the international media praised him and quoted him as saying, “No way to cure what is not a disease,” adding: “It is not a serious, academic debate, it is a debate connected to religious or conservative positions.”
Contrary to Giannini’s allegations, the judge’s injunction does advocate any “gay cure.”
Besides, communist-minded Giannini treated debate disagreeing with his communist views as “not serious, not academic” — which is a mindset typical of communists. He also treated Christian and conservative positions as stances of second-class citizens, as if only communists were real academicians and had monopoly on the academic debate.
Giannini’s far-left views should be condemned by all the U.S. media.
What does the judge’s injunction say?
It “determines that the Federal Council of Psychology does not interpret [its resolution] to hinder psychologists from promoting studies or giving professional care, in a private setting, regarding to sexual (re) orientation, thereby ensuring to them full scientific freedom about the subject, with no censorship or prior permission from the Federal Council of Psychology.”
Full freedom to offer professional care without any censorship. Is it too much? Obviously, it is not. But such freedom causes nightmares in communist-minded individuals, who would prefer to travel to Venezuela to lend their support to a “perfect” government that does not offer full freedom and, instead, offers full censorship.
The injunction became possible because Judge Waldemar Claudio de Carvalho approved an appeal put forward by Rozangela Justino, an evangelical Christian and psychologist who was banned from practicing after offering therapy for individuals seeking exit from homosexual behavior.
Psychology is not a science. It is one of the most subjective fields of human study. Every individual, whether a psychologist or not, has views colored by his own ideological preferences, whether political or religious. Far-left-wing individuals and individuals practicing witchcraft are very open to homosexuality and very hostile to Christianity.
If an individual seeks medical care for a broken leg, every physician attending him will diagnose him with a broken leg, irrespective of ideological preferences of physician or patient. This is science.
Yet, psychologists as Giannini diagnose Christians and conservatives as unfit for debate, because their personal views are colored by the far-left-wing ideology. Psychologists with a political background of socialism and with a religious background of witchcraft will always oppose Christians and support homosexuality. They would declare Maduro fully fit for debate. This is not science. This is sheer subjectivity.
Similarly, conservative and Christian psychologists have the same right to diagnose communist-minded psychologists as unfit for debate.
Positive points in the judge’s injunction:
* It grants full freedom to offer professional care.
* It condemns censorship.
Negative point:
* It agrees with the World Health Organization’s stance that “homosexuality is a natural variation of the human sexuality.”
Different from the subjective stance of the Federal Council of Psychology, headed by communist-minded Rogério Giannini, that says that “homosexuality is not a disease, disturbance or perversion,” the Christian stance, based on the Bible, is that homosexuality is a perversion causing diseases and disturbances. Reality is enough to prove it and disprove communist theories.
In the conflict of opposing subjective views, the Federal Council of Psychology has allowed communist involvement of its psychologists, including by funding their trips to communist events, but has banned Christian involvement of its psychologists.
In this unfair treatment, the U.S. media has sided with communists to attack Christian and conservative psychologists in Brazil.
Even Facebook has taken a stand against the judge’s injunction, by siding with communists and calling homosexuality “love.” Facebook said in its official Brazilian page:
“On Facebook, we believe in equality. We also believe that love does not need healing.”
Facebook treated homosexuality as a cage with no exit, with a deceiving propaganda calling the homosexual perversion “love.” Actually, there is no cure for perversion. Just deliverance.
Communist-minded individuals are outraged by the judge’s injunction. They are angered that someone is trying to help people to exit the cage.
Rightly, Silas Malafaia, a prominent televangelist and Assemblies of God minister in Brazil, has said in a video that “it is not the therapist, but the patient who decides what he wants.” He also said that therapist cannot be forbidden from serving a patient seeking help. Malafaia has a degree in psychology.
If the Federal Council of Psychology keeps behaving as the communist Venezuela and if Giannini keeps behaving as Maduro, Christian psychologists will have to leave this dictatorship to help homosexuals who seek help in the church. For thousands of years, when there was no psychology, the Christian church helped deliver people from the homosexual sin. Even Apostle Paul tells of individuals delivered from the homosexual prison by the power of the Holy Spirit. He said:
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV)
Men who were involved in the homosexual behavior in the past and repented from it when they accepted Jesus “were washed, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit.” No psychology involved.
Even today, Holy Spirit-filled Christians with no degree in the subjective field of psychology have helped homosexuals, thieves, adulterers, liars, swindlers, etc.
The Venezuelan-styled psychology is insufficient to hinder individuals from seeking and finding help in churches that do what Jesus did: to preach the Gospel, heal the sick and expel demons.
Real, Spirit-filled Christianity has had no need of psychology for 2,000 years to help individuals oppressed by homosexuality. But this is not the issue regarding Christian psychologists and their associations. The issue is freedom and censorship.
Communist-minded individuals are extremely biased, anti-Christian, against full freedom and, of course, advocates of censorship. If Christians cannot be psychologists, why can a communist-minded individual head a psychological association?
