Media Firestorm as Rick Perry Compares Homosexuality to Alcoholism

Media Firestorm as Rick Perry Compares Homosexuality to Alcoholism

By Julio Severo
Texas Governor Rick Perry has caused a firestorm by comparing homosexuality to a disorder that people can avoid like alcoholism at an event in San Francisco.
Rick Perry
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, even though most of the event focused on economic issues, Perry was provocatively asked about the Texas Republican Party’s approval of platform language allowing Texans to seek voluntary counseling to leave the homosexual lifestyle. Perry responded to the question by saying that he did not know whether such so-called “reparative therapy” worked.
The Chronicle then reported that Perry was asked by the event’s moderator if he considered homosexuality to be a disorder. Perry responded, “Whether or not you feel compelled to follow a particular lifestyle or not, you have the ability to decide not to do that. I may have the genetic coding that I'm inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that, and I look at the homosexual issue the same way.”
The Chronicle added that while the event in famously-liberal San Francisco was packed with Republicans, there was an audible mumbling immediately after the remark.
Decades ago, Democrats and other liberals began with “audible mumblings” about views of homosexuality as abnormal or vice. Today, they are stridently combative against any one espousing conservative moral stances. Signs to come about future Republicans?
The same provocative question that was asked from Perry could also have been asked from Vladimir Putin, the Russian president. Considering that before the Ukrainian crisis the Western media, especially the U.S. media, was obsessed about putting Russia in a firestorm for its law banning homosexual propaganda, any negative answer from Putin about homosexuality is sure to provoke more storms — and “audible mumblings” from Republicans.
In fact, Dr. Scott Lively, author of “The Pink Swastika,” has commented that the Ukrainian crisis, which has been fomented for years by George Soros and neocons, happened to provoke Russia as a possible answer to Russia taking a stand against homosexual propaganda in its society.
If even among Republicans Perry’s soft opposition to homosexuality has caused a “audible mumbling,” what about if he signed, as Putin did, a law banning homosexual propaganda in Texas?
His enemies would need a “Ukrainian crisis” to deflect his anti-homosexuality measures.
“Lucky” are the Saudi kings, because they can comfortably navigate through the U.S. media and government and go unchallenged about Saudi Arabia murdering homosexuals. There are no protests by Democrats and Republicans. There are no sanctions by Democrats and Republicans. And there are no “audible mumblings” by Democrats and Republicans.
Besides, the U.S. Embassy, which has hoisted the homosexual flag in some nations, would never do it in Saudi Arabia.
What is the Saudi secret?
Perry and Putin need to find it, because it is very uncomfortable and dangerous, because of the U.S. media and government, to oppose homosexual propaganda nowadays, if you are not a Saudi.
If you are a Saudi, no U.S. media and U.S. government official will bother you.
What is the Saudi secret?
Please, tell it to Perry and Putin.
Yet, even though he does not have the special exemption the Saudis enjoy, Perry is right: homosexuality is a vice, as alcoholism is. In fact, the Bible says: “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 ESV)
Men who practice homosexuality and drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God.
God said it. God put both sins in the same category of practices rejected in the kingdom of God.
Who can say that Perry’s comparison is wrong?
Perry is an evangelical Christian. I hope he may enact some law banning homosexual propaganda in Texas.
If the U.S. media and government want to harass his moral stance, he could tell them to hoist a homosexual flag in the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia. Let them try to save homosexual Saudis from being murdered in this Islamic nation. Let us then see the results.
The important point for comparison is not if homosexuality is a vice as alcoholism, but why Saudis and other radical Muslims murder homosexuals, and why evangelical Christians like Perry and Orthodox Christians in Russia do not murder them.
If the U.S. intends to be the supreme advocate of homosexuality worldwide, why then do the U.S. media and government chastise evangelical Christians, Catholics and Orthodox Christians, but spare radical Muslims?
What is the secret? What are the interests?

Lesbian who murdered her former lover’s daughter, 2, and attempted to kill her son, 10, left a note explaining she was inspired to do it by a sermon in a homosexual church

Lesbian who murdered her former lover’s daughter, 2, and attempted to kill her son, 10, left a note explaining she was inspired to do it by a sermon in a homosexual church

By Julio Severo
Two weeks ago, a DailyMail report said that a Florida mental health counselor accused of murdering her lesbian lover’s two-year-old daughter wrote a note claiming a sermon by a lesbian pastor inspired the killing.
Lesbian tragedy: Police say Kymberley Lucas, 40, (right) killed girlfriend Jacquelyn Jamason's (left) daughter Elliana (center) and tried to kill her ten-year-old son (lower right)
Kimberly Lucas, 40, is accused of drowning her former lesbian partner Jacquelyn Jamason’s two-year-old daughter Elliana and attempting to kill her 10-year-old son Ethan, according to the DailyMail.
Lucas wrote in the note that a sermon by Metropolitan Community Church lesbian Pastor Lea Brown “really, really touched” her the day before the revenge killing carried out in response to Jamason ending their relationship. Metropolitan Community Church is a homosexual denomination that twists Scriptures to fit a homosexual “christianity” whose god is friendly to homosexual acts.
Kimberly Lucas claims that she was inspired by a sermon by lesbian reverend Lea Brown telling the story of when God instructed Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac
“Cops were called to Lucas’ Jupiter, Florida, home for a reported drowning. They found Elliana Lucas-Jamason dead,” said the DailyMail, which added, “Footage of the sermon posted by the church on YouTube shows Brown mention a specific Bible passage, Genesis 22, where God asks Abraham to kill his son Isaac.”
Murdered girl
Consistent with her homosexual church, which twists the Bible, Lucas “heard” the voice of their twisted god ordering her to kill the children of her former lesbian partner as a sacrifice.
The DailyMail report also said:
Lucas attempt to kill Jamason’s son was unsuccessful.
Police say Lucas and Jamason had recently ended their relationship.
Murdered girl and her brother
Lucas and Jamason are both licensed mental health counselors who maintain private practices in Palm Beach County.
Jamason runs jupiter-counseling.com, which says she specializes in group and family counseling and the treatment of depression.
Lucas was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder.
She is in police custody.
The ten-year-old boy is expected to survive.
The Metropolitan Community Church is expected to keep twisting the Scriptures to fit their homosexual “christianity.”
Kimberly Lucas and her former lesbian partner are licensed mental health counselors and Obama supporters
For an individual to say that he murdered a child because he “heard” a divine voice, the explanation is: 1) he is not mentally healthy, or 2) his mind has been deluged with dangerous lies and dangerous twisted “truths.”
For Kimberly Lucas, there were two delusions. One, from her mental health profession, which portrays homosexual behavior just as a normal behavior. Another, from her church, which misrepresents God as accepting homosexual behavior.
If it were not for these two factors, her delusions could easily be understood as personal delusions. Therefore, her insanity cannot be accounted for apart from the artificial normalcy that the mental health profession and homosexual churches impose regarding to homosexual perversions. And perversions always lead to other perversions, and to the innocent’ sacrifice.

US Embassy in Tel Aviv Makes History by Putting Homosexual Flag Under the American Flag

US Embassy in Tel Aviv Makes History by Putting Homosexual Flag Under the American Flag

By Julio Severo
“For the first time in history,” said a Facebook post from U.S. Ambassador Dan Shapiro, “the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv has raised the Pride flag together with our American flag.”
A photo attached to the social media announcement shows the homosexual flag flying directly beneath the American flag, a bold statement in a primarily Jewish and Muslim part of the world.
In spite of its Christian cultural roots, the United States has shunned from defending Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Even U.S. conservative Christian presidents avoided to declare it. Yet, the U.S. government under Barack Obama has made homosexuality one of their top foreign policy concerns, working hard, through its embassies, to give preference to homosexuality.

Coming Soon? A More Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu and Less Christian America

Coming Soon? A More Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu and Less Christian America

By Julio Severo
There’s no doubt that the United States had a Christian beginning, first with the Pilgrim Fathers. Later, from the independence and on, America was a Protestant nation with Catholic and Jewish minorities. She was able consistently to keep this religious profile until the mid-20 century.
America was seen as the most Protestant nation in the world, and U.S. missionaries often taught about the divine blessings on a predominantly Protestant nation. America was cherished by us, by the example and sermons of missionaries, as a nation that had become strong because it embraced the Gospel.
I speak as a Brazilian greatly benefited by the wonderful U.S. missionary work.
But what is the religious profile of America today? America is still the most Protestant nation in the world, but her position will be surpassed by China in 10 years. The United States had 159 millions of Protestants in 2010 and China is expected to have 160 millions of Protestants in 2025. Yet, while Protestant Christians are increasing in China, their numbers are declining in the U.S.
The Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies, a group which assists in the U.S. Census, recently released an interesting map showing which religions rank No. 2 throughout the U.S. In some point in the next future, these religions may surpass Christian majorities, whether Protestant or Catholic, leaving America with a religious profile vastly different from her beginning.
Islam ranks as the second most prevalent religion in 20 states, many of which in the Bible belt, which has been a region where conservative Protestants have traditionally a massive control. The Islamic growth is certain to challenge this control. Judaism is the second most common faith in most of the Northeast, while towards the West, Buddhism is the second most common faith in 13 states. Hinduism is only the No. 2 religion in two states, Arizona and Delaware.
Notably, the survey considers Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses and other heretical sects as a part of Christianity.
Of course, Christian majorities in the U.S. are dominated by nominal Christians, not to mention liberal Christians, and the effects have been felt in the missionary field. In Brazil, Brian McLaren and other liberal American Protestant leaders, known for their sympathies for main points of the gay agenda, have best-selling books in the Brazilian Church.
As America heads to be surpassed by China as the most Protestant nation in the world, does her internal and often nominal Christianity head to be surpassed by Islam, Buddhism and other religions? The time will tell.
Is the time coming for the International Church to send missionaries to the U.S.?

Brazil’s child sex workers forced to cash in on World Cup

Brazil’s child sex workers forced to cash in on World Cup

BRAZILIAN kids as young as 10 are being forced to sell themselves for sex on the streets to cash in on the hundreds of thousands of soccer fans heading to the World Cup, a shocking investigation has revealed.

As soccer fans descend on Brazil for the tournament this week, evil pimps are exploiting young children who are hopelessly addicted to crack cocaine and living on the streets, a report by British tabloid the Sunday People has revealed.
Sex trade ... with thousands of foreign tourists descending on Brazil this week, there are grave fears for the nation’s child prostiutes.
Young girls and boys high after sniffing glue openly sell themselves for sex on street corners in the city of Recife — which will host five matches — for as little as $4, the investigative report claims.
The problem is not just confined to Recife — child prostitution is endemic across the entire country.
To the north of Recife lies the beach resort city of Fortaleza, host to six World Cup matches and widely considered to a hotspot for child sex tourism
One factor that has allowed child prostitution to flourish in Brazil under the noses of police officers is that the country’s age of consent is 14.
Also, in 2012 a Brazilian court ruled that sex with a 12-year-old did not necessarily constitute statutory rape — a decision that Amnesty International blasted as “a green light for rapists.”

With 600,000 foreign soccer fans preparing to descend on the World Cup host nation this week, and 3 million Brazilian fans travelling around the country, there are grave fears the children’s plight will only get worse.
One child told the Sunday People how she regularly gets approached by dozens of men looking for sex — locals, tourists and taxi drivers.
Lorrisa, 13, said she sniffed strong industrial glue, which the locals kids call “cola”, to stave off hunger pangs.
“Sniffing the glue makes me feel dizzy and numb and it stops me feeling hungry so I don’t need to eat,” Lorrisa said.
“It helps me cope with the violence and danger on the streets.”

An older woman who has lived on the streets since the age of seven said the children of Recife are at risk from local men and tourists.
She pointed out one boy aged 10 who had been forced into prostitution.
She said: “The children go with the men because they are high on drugs or need more money to buy drugs.
“They use drugs to numb the pain of the sexual abuse, become addicted then need to sell themselves over and over again to raise the money.”

Critics of Brazil’s Goverment say officials have pushed the child sex trade out of sight, but haven’t done enough to eradicate its root causes. They warn underage prostitution could explode during the World Cup.
“These girls come from extreme poverty, a culture of social exclusion and a tradition of profound disrespect for women,” Antonia Lima Sousa, a state prosecutor, told CNN.
The scourge of child prostitution “involves a whole tourism network, from agencies to hotels to taxis,” she says. “With these mega events, sexual exploitation is also going to be organised much more via the internet.”
At risk ... with the World Cup coming there are fears human traffickers will target children. Source: Supplied
Despite promises to eradicate child prostitution, the number of estimated child sex workers in Brazil stands at about half a million, according to the non-profit National Forum for the Prevention of Child Labour.
Last month, a global network of religious orders against human trafficking launched a campaign against child prostitution during the World Cup.
“In Brazil, our greatest concern is linked to the increase in the exploitation of child prostitution,” said Sister Gabriella Bottani, an Italian nun who is an organiser of the coalition involving 240 religious congregations from 79 countries.
She said international sporting events attract human traffickers, who trick jobseekers into slave labour and also kidnap children for illegal adoptions or forced begging.

Footballers have also taken a stand against child exploitation in the It’s a Penalty campaign, which features Brazil’s David Luiz and was launched by former England captain Gary Lineker.
Sadly, it’s a long way from the streets where life is cheap and children can be sold for next to nothing.
And it’s a world away from the street corners where 14-year-old Calliem has been selling her body from sex since the age of 11.
“I have sex so many times with men and they only pay me five Brazilian real,” she told the Sunday People.

Brazilian Nightmare: World Cup, Spanking and Abortion

Brazilian Nightmare: World Cup, Spanking and Abortion

By Julio Severo
For foreigners coming to Brazil for the World Cup, this mega-football event often spells “sex tourism.” But for Brazilians, it’s the old Roman appeasement politics of “bread and circuses.” Give football to Brazilians and they will forget their social and moral woes — at least for a while.
The special reason the Brazilian government under socialist President Dilma Rousseff has staged the World Cup is for Brazilian to overlook the consequences of her ill-fated politics and planned woes.
In the recent few days, with Brazil under the spell of the World Cup, Brazilian hospitals had been put under an order to make abortions easy. Under a new abortion law approved immediately after the Pope’s visit last year, women can require medical abortion by merely alleging rape — with no need of medical or police evidence.
The order was revoked by heavy pressure of Catholic groups and the Evangelical Parliamentary Caucus.
Yet, other planned woe had no such attention. For more than one decade, socialists in Brazil have been working hard to ban parental spanking.
Their recent efforts were successful in the Brazilian House of Representatives and in the Brazilian Senate.
The strategy to get it approved in the Brazilian Congress was to make a scandalous appeal, by comparing parental spanking to child killing. This is interesting, because the Brazilian government and socialist politicians endorse child killing — through legal abortion. But if you say that abortion is murder, they will answer that you are making a “scandalous appeal”!
Murder is murder. Abortion is murder of children, but socialists reject such comparison. Parental spanking is not murder, but socialists keep making such comparison.
Maria do Rosário, the main anti-spanking activist, had been a “human rights” secretary in the Rousseff administration, but she remained in office only until her flaunting stance last year, by declaring that the “murder” of a young homosexual was a “homophobic” crime. She inflamed it into a national scandal, calling for harsh laws against “homophobic” people, pressuring law-enforcement agencies to prioritize crimes against homosexuals, etc. She left the office after it was found that the young homosexual did not have been murdered. He had committed suicide after his male lover rejected him.
Yet, the case against parental spanking was successful. Rosário and other socialists said that child killing is provoked by parental spanking, and the Brazilian media repeated the mantra to all Brazilians. The victory came after a Brazilian boy was murdered by his father and stepmother, and the socialist chorus began: “Parental spanking amounts to murder.”
The Congressional hearings had other scandalous appeals. Xuxa — a Brazilian television presenter, film actress, singer and businesswoman — was invited to back the anti-spanking bill. What does Xuxa have to teach Brazilian parents? In fact, why is she so engaged in a bill aimed at seizing parental rights and destroying their decisions over their children?
Xuxa has no acceptable parental example. By choice, she has never been married, but she has been a lover of several men. She has only a daughter and for this pregnancy, she chose a man just for her to have a child. Nothing else. By her choice, her daughter was brought up without her father.
In 1982, as a 19-year-old, Xuxa appeared in the Brazilian movie “Amor Estranho Amor” (Love Strange Love). Her role was to seduce a 12-year-old boy. The scene contained eroticism and pedophilia: a nude young woman with a nude boy in the bed.
Xuxa has never served time in prison for her pedophilic act. On the contrary, in the 1980s she had her nude body as a cover picture in the Brazilian Playboy magazine.
Parents who murder their children should be punished. People who encourage pedophilia through movies should be punished. Parents who spank their children, with a rod or a slap, should not be treated as criminals, especially under the bad example of a woman with no moral guidance and parental example.
The Brazilian tragedy is that since Brazil became a signatory of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990, there is no legal punishment for criminals under 18 years old. Minors can beat and murder their parents, and there will be no jail or sentence. Just special rehabilitation. Law-enforcement agents are prohibited from treating as criminal minors who rape, assault and murder.
Days ago a Brazilian man, who is an Assembly of God minister today, told me that he was an city official supervising troubled minors in Brazil. He told that it was a nightmare, because they dealt with 15, 16 and 17-year olds who raped and murdered, but legally they were unpunishable. Their state rehabilitation was a failure. The minister told me that less than 4% had some improvement. Today he lives in America, where he told me he has seen criminals treated as criminals, regardless their age.
I also prefer the U.S. system, because, where conservatism is predominant, is less barbaric than the legal system in Brazil. Other Brazilian friend of mine, who is a Presbyterian minister in Texas, told me that when he was going to spank his son, he said, “If you spank me, I will denounce you to police!” In Brazil, this is enough to make a parent frightened. But the wise father himself called and police came. After hearing the boy and the father, the policeman just instructed the father on the better ways to use a slipper or belt to punish the boy. Needless to say, the boy never again wanted police involved.
Thank God, this was Texas, not Brazil! Texas, which is more conservative than other more liberal U.S. states where parents also face risks, is a place I would definitely choose to live, if they intend to keep pursuing a social life free from UN insanities!
In contrast, the Evangelical Parliamentary Caucus (EPC), which is a pro-life force in the Brazilian Congress, has made a repulsive deal with the government and its socialist supporters to have the anti-spanking bill passed. Many of the members of the EPC are socialists too. The Catholic Church in Brazil, for many years backing socialist measures in Brazil, has made no opposition to the government efforts to confiscate parental rights over the spanking issue.
This is the Brazilian nightmare: children and teens who assault, rape and murder are legally unpunishable.
This is the Brazilian nightmare: parents who spank, with a rod or a slap, to try to hinder their children and teens from becoming criminals who assault, rape and murder will be legally punishable, and they will be treated as criminals and child killers, while the real child killers (abortionists) will be legally unpunishable.
There is no epidemics of children murdered by parents in Brazil. But there is an epidemics of children and teens raping, assaulting and murdering. As ever, unpunishable.
Psychopathic socialists and their laws in Brazil essentially say: “Do not spank your children to hinder them from becoming criminals. Abort them! We allow you to abort them, but not to discipline them, ok?”
Try to homeschool your children in Brazil, and the government will ferociously go after you. Spank them, and there will be no state pardon. But make their criminal ways easy, and you will be left alone.
Visit São Paulo or other big city in Brazil and you will see a sad picture: an 8-year old girl or boy begging in the streets, day or night, while the Brazilian government is very busy chasing spanking parents.
The World Cup helps Brazilians forget momentarily their social nightmare.

Why Does Christian Persecution Get Worse In Every Country The U.S. “Liberates”?

Why Does Christian Persecution Get Worse In Every Country The U.S. “Liberates”?

Michael Snyder
When the U.S. military “liberates” a nation, shouldn’t it result in more liberty, freedom and peace for the people living there?  Instead, we find just the opposite.  In fact, in every single case since 9/11, when the U.S. military has “liberated” a nation it has resulted in the persecution of Christians in that country becoming much worse.
In areas where we spent hundreds of billions of dollars and where thousands of precious American lives were sacrificed, churches are regularly being bombed, Christians are being brutally beheaded, and laws have been passed to make it illegal for a Muslim to convert to Christianity.  If we were not even able to provide the most basic of liberties and freedoms to the people living in those nations, what in the world did we actually accomplish by “liberating” them?
Just look at what has happened in Afghanistan.  We have been at war in Afghanistan for more than a dozen years, and yet things are so bad for Christians in that country at this point that there is not a single church left
The supposedly “moderate” Karzai government installed by the U.S. upholds many of the draconian laws enforced by the Taliban—including the apostasy law, fiercely persecuting those who seek to convert to Christianity—and, in 2011, under U.S. auspices, it destroyed Afghanistan’s last Christian church.
We find a similar story in Iraq.  It is estimated that before the invasion, there were up to 2 million Christians living in Iraq.  Now that number is down to less than 450,000, and it is falling fast.
In fact, things are so dire for Iraq’s Christian community that some Iraqi Christian leaders are warning that Christians may soon become “extinct” in that nation…
As the mass exodus of Iraq’s Christians continues, so does the call for ending the plight of those who have remained. Like Iraq’s ancient Jewish community before them, one of the world’s oldest Christian communities may soon cease to exist.
The disappearance of Iraq’s religious minorities has been a troubling trend since the US-led invasion in 2003, and it has threatened to end the cultural diversity of Iraq. As the violence in the country spikes and religious intolerance grows, many Christians, Yazidis, Mandaeans and other minority community members are leaving the country.
Last week, the head of the Iraqi Catholic Church sent a chilling warning that Iraq’s 2,000-year-old Christian community is on the brink of extinction as new waves of Christians take the journey of exodus.
It is estimated that the Iraq war cost U.S. taxpayers more than 2 trillion dollars.
We spent more than a million dollars on one soccer field alone (which has now turned to dust).
In the end, what did we actually accomplish?
The Obama administration likes to brag about how it got rid of Qaddafi and “liberated” Libya, but now al-Qaeda is in control of much of the country and things are much worse for Christians than ever before
Ever since U.S.-backed, al-Qaeda-linked terrorists overthrew Qaddafi, Christians—including Americans—have indeed suffered extreme persecution. Churches have been bombed; Christians have been tortured and killed (including for refusing to convert); and nuns have been threatened.
In Syria, the Obama administration is shamelessly allying with radical al-Qaeda jihadists in a desperate attempt to overthrow the Assad regime.
As these jihadists torture, behead and even crucify Christian believers, the mainstream media in the United States is virtually silent about it.
Why is the media being so quiet?
Well, because exposing what is going on would make the Obama administration look bad.
Those carrying out this persecution of Christians in Syria are being directly funded and aided by the governments of the United States and Saudi Arabia.  For much more on what is going on in Syria, please see my previous article entitled “Why Is The Media Silent About The Crucifixion Of Christians By Radical Jihadists?
And of course it is not just in the Middle East where this kind of persecution of Christians is taking place.
While Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, the State Department refused to label Boko Haram as a terrorist organization.
But now the whole world is talking about Boko Haram.  This group has attacked more than 700 churches in Nigeria over the past seven years, and this has resulted in a massive exodus of Christians from northern Nigeria to southern Nigeria…
Christian groups estimate that up to a quarter of the 4,000 people killed by Boko Haram since 2009 have been Christians, and more than 700 churches have been attacked in the last seven years alone, according to the Nigerian Catholic Bishop’s Conference. Across the troubled north-east, many Christian neighbourhoods are now ghost towns as tens of thousands of residents flee south. It is one of the biggest Christian exoduses of the century, yet largely unremarked outside of Nigeria.
It is hard to put into words how brutal Boko Haram can be.  As a recent article in the Telegraph described, the persecution of Christians in northern Nigeria by Boko Haram  has been absolutely relentless…
Arriving at St Joseph’s church in the Nigerian town of Gashua, Father John Bakeni knew he was taking on a tough posting. A flyblows settlement near the northern border with Niger, his new parish was smack in the heart of Boko Haram territory, and in the previous three years, all but a fraction of its 3,000-strong Christian minority had fled.
Sent by his bishop to show that the diocese had not deserted the town, he spent much of the following year trying to reassure the 200 remaining parishioners. But nearly every time he ventured from his rectory, a reminder would await him of the difficulty of his mission.
“Several times a week I would find a dead animal had been thrown in the compound, usually a chicken, goat or sheep, but sometimes dead cats too,” said Fr Bakeni, 38. “Stones would get thrown at the church almost every day, and sometimes also people would bang the gates and shout: ‘Infidel, we are going to kill you.’
So why has the Obama administration been so hesitant to speak out against Boko Haram until now?
In fact, although most Americans do not realize this, the Obama administration has been quite supportive of Boko Haram in the past.  Obama even actually threatened the Nigerian government with economic sanctions in 2013 in an attempt to keep them from cracking down on Boko Haram.
What in the world was the Obama administration thinking?
Whose side are they on anyway?
If you love liberty and freedom, you should be deeply troubled by the spread of groups such as Boko Haram.
Just look at what is happening in another part of Africa where jihadists have gained control.  In Sudan, a pregnant woman was recently sentenced to death by hanging for marrying a Christian man…
A Sudanese woman doctor who married a Christian man and who was convicted earlier this week on charges of “apostasy” was sentenced to death on Thursday, judicial officials said.
According to the Sudanese officials, 26-year-old Meriam Ibrahim, whose father was Muslim, was convicted on Sunday and given four days to repent and escape death. She was sentenced after that grace period expired, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with regulations.
The BBC reported the woman’s death by hanging will not be carried out until two years after the birth of her child.
This kind of tyranny should not be tolerated in today’s world.
But instead, the U.S. government seems to be helping to spread it.
