Benjamin Netanyahu, Right-Wing Jews and the Gay Agenda in Israel

Benjamin Netanyahu, Right-Wing Jews and the Gay Agenda in Israel

By Julio Severo
Jerusalem, the Holy City, has been a stage for one of the unholiest act on the Earth according to the holiest Jewish traditions: celebration of homosexuality.
Gay parade in Jerusalem
Not only left-wing Jews have celebrated this unholy act. Right-wing Jews have also taken part.
The Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, officially designated February 23, 2016, as the State of Israel’s LGBT Rights Day. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rarely appears in the Knesset on Tuesdays, but he arrived especially to participate in the “first designated LGBT Rights Day.”
He spoke to homosexual activists who were gathered at the Knesset.
“I came here in the middle of my schedule, which was no less busy, to say one sentence to the members of the LGBT community: ‘Every man was created in the image of God,’” he said, according to the Jerusalem Post. “That is the idea brought by our nation to mankind thousands of years ago, and it is the principle that must guide our national lives today.”
Everybody was created in God’s image, but their behavior is not always reflective of God’s image.
The ancient principle, engraved in the Holy Jewish Scriptures (known as the Old Testament among Christians), is that people created in God’s image should not engage in behaviors contrary to God’s image. Among these behaviors is homosexuality, which the Jewish Scriptures call “abhorrence.”
“Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is an abhorrence.” (Leviticus 18:22 The Jewish Study Bible: Second Edition. Oxford University Press. 2014)
To use “God’s image” in people to glorify their homosexual behavior was not God’s original intent for Israel and the world. Homosexuality affronts God’s image.
Reinforcing Netanyahu’s words praising people for their homosexual behavior, his Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a public international video that it is proud that Israel is the homosexual capital of the Middle East.
MK Amir Ohana said at the Knesset that the LGBT community is 10 percent of the Israeli population and is discriminated against under law.
In 2015 Netanyahu noted that Ohana, who was Israel’s new Interior Minister, was the first openly gay representative to be elected to the Knesset from Netanyahu’s Likud Party, which is a right-wing party. He predicted that Ohana would be an excellent MK.
In his inaugural speech, Ohana, who lives with his homosexual partner, mentioned the different components of his identity: “Jewish, Israeli, Mizrahi [Sephardic], gay, a Likudnik, security-minded, liberal, a supporter of the free market, and a father.”
Ohana, who is also a veteran of the Shin Bet security agency, has promoted the homosexual agenda as the founder and chairman of the Likud Pride Group, which is the largest right-wing homosexual group in Israel.
Ohad Attya, a gay activist in Likud, said, “The idea that if you are gay you have to be a leftist is false.”
The absurd figure of 10 percent of homosexuals in the general population defended by Ohana was invented by Alfred Kinsey, but it was scientifically debunked by the Jewish-American researcher Dr. Judith Reisman.
Homosexuals are no more than 2 or 3 percent of the general population. If this number rises someday, it is because the massive homosexual propaganda in the social media and schools has been successful. But without propaganda, their numbers are insignificant.
Yet, is not the Torah, the Jewish Scriptures, enough to debunk lies about homosexuality? In fact, the Torah has been exposing and condemning homosexuality for thousands of years.
Even so, modern Israel is in direction contrary to its most sacred traditions.
More than 200,000 people packed Tel Aviv’s streets on 2017 for the annual LGBT Pride Parade, making it the largest-ever gay parade in the Middle East and Asia, according to the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality.
“Tel Aviv Pride Parade is not just a celebration, but also an important declaration of support. Tel Aviv, which has already been acknowledged as the world’s ‘most gay-friendly city,’ will continue to be a light-house city, spreading the values of freedom, tolerance and democracy to the world,” said Mayor Ron Huldai.
Gay parade in Jerusalem
Even Jerusalem has not been left untouched by homosexual advances. In 2016 and 2017 over forty-five thousand homosexual Israelis packed the streets of the Holy City with rainbow flags, marching proudly and resolutely for what was billed as the “Jerusalem March For Pride and Tolerance.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed homosexual activists and participants in Jerusalem’s 2016 gay pride parade in a video message, saying that they are an inseparable part of Israeli society.
“The march today in Jerusalem isn’t only a march of the LGBT community,” said Netanyahu in the video posted to his Facebook page. “It’s not a march exclusive for a specific group. It’s a march for us. It’s a march for unity. Our brothers and sisters in the community are part and parcel of us, of Israeli society. We are all one family. We respect one another and accept one another with respect and equality. We all have the right and obligation to accept one another without exceptions, regardless of religion, race or sexual preference. We are all created in the image of God. We are all Israelis, we are all citizens of the state, we are one people.”
In two versions of a video posted to Facebook, one in English and the other in Hebrew, Netanyahu clearly positioned himself as a vocal supporter, endorsing the sentiment of the marchers and slamming critics who painted their efforts in a negative light.
“Sadly, some elements of our society are still not yet ready to accept the LGBT community,” he said. “My solemn promise to you today is to continue fostering respect for all of Israel’s citizens, without exception.”
Netanyahu’s public addresses on the subject are fascinating because he is the leader of the most right-wing coalition government in Israel’s history.
A right-wing administration in Israel not only has not saved Israel from the gay ideology, but has actually joined the Left to support it.
One of the best barometers of the homosexual activists’ rising influence is that right-wing politicians are shifting their perception of the gay agenda. In the United States, leaders of the Republican Party have been attempting to convince their base of Christian conservative constituents that a pro-homosexuality realignment is needed.
In the Republican National Committee’s now infamous “autopsy report,” compiled by party elders after Mitt Romney’s loss in 2012, they said: “We need to campaign among… gay Americans and demonstrate we care about them, too.” Senator Marco Rubio, who is a Catholic neocon, warned his party of the costs of non-adherence to the gay agenda.
Following this neocon stance, the Trump administration has been marked not only by non-opposition to the homosexual agenda but also by efforts to pressure other nations to accept it.
Put another way, the LGBT activism and its demands have become too important and financially too seductive for right-wing politicians to ignore.
Israel, as no other nation, knows that the homosexual behavior brings total destruction, because it has the valuable testimony of the Jewish Scriptures, which are not legend, but a faithful and divine reminder. Even so, Israel and its left-wing and right-wing leaders seek alliances with homosexual activists who celebrate their immoral lifestyles.
The Israeli economy gained at least 100 million shekels (around $28 million) from the influx of foreign homosexuals who traveled to Israel to take part in Tel Aviv Pride Parade in 2017.
Nadav Peretz — owner of OUTstanding Travel — told that these homosexual tourists “become ambassadors for the liberal and progressive Israel.”
“It might sound weird,” he said, “but they are the ‘new evangelicals.’ They speak well about Israel and can’t wait to return.”
Homosexual activists have even been officially invited, by Israel, to visit Israel. In January 2016, Brazilian congressman Jean Wyllys, the most prominent homosexual activist in the Brazilian Congress, gave a lecture on “homophobia” in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His lecture equaled “homophobia” with anti-Semitism. Wyllys, who openly advocates the homosexual indoctrination of Brazilian children in schools, was officially invited by Israel.
Meanwhile, an Israeli poll published by the Hiddush NGO found that 90 percent of secular Israelis support same-sex “marriage.” Among the religious, 77 percent of traditional Jews, 46 percent of national religious Jews, and 16 percent of the ultra-Orthodox Jews also support the “marriage” of same-sex couples.
During the meeting at the Knesset in the first official LGBT Rights Day, the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) Chief of Staff’s Adviser on Women’s Affairs Rachel Tevet pointed out that 18-year-olds are enlisted without regard to sexual orientation.
Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Subcommittee chairman Yoav Kisch (a member of Likud) asked the IDF to hold more homosexual workshops on the subject for commanders and to improve its work to integrate transgender soldiers.
“I was glad to hear the conditions in the army are good [for members of the LGBT community], as it should be,” Kisch said. “At the same time... the improvements must continue.”
“The IDF is the army of the people and everyone must feel comfortable and certainly not have concerns based on their gender identity,” he added.
IDF is, in fact, a socialist “paradise.” It has accomplished a feat that U.S. socialists have fought for many years to impose on American women: compulsory military draft for young women. The socialist “dream” has been fulfilled in Israel: all 18-year-old young women are obliged to enlist.
If Cuba and North Korea have female soldiers, conservatives and right-wingers say that it is ugly, because this is communism. But if Israel has female soldiers, they consider it beautiful, just because it is made in Israel — regardless if it is socialist or not. There is an idolatry rampant among conservative evangelicals hindering their eyes to see socialism in Israel. They are able to see it in Cuba, but they are unable to recognize as socialist the same impositions in Israel.
Israel is the only nation where socialism has been successful. Israel, which was founded by Marxist Jews, has one of the most liberal abortion laws in the world. It has also banned parents’ authority to spank their children.
Because Israel has very high taxes, which are typical in socialist nations, corruption is rampant.
Even so, the same conservative evangelicals who condemn socialism in Cuba celebrate it in Israel.
A conservative Christian should balance his necessary support of Israel, especially its inalienable, untransferable and divine right to the Promised Land, without compromising his values by supporting everything Israel does. Sometimes, Israel does horrible things, including supporting Islamic terrorists at the expense of Christian victims. A true Christian should never support such things.
Legal abortion, ban on child discipline, celebration of homosexuality and feminism, including compulsory draft for young women, are not conservative or Christian values. They are socialist values, and should not be tolerated, even for Israel’s sake.
Evangelicals talk about Israel as if they were talking about the Holy Land itself. They think Israel’s rulers and its inhabitants have the utmost respect for God and His laws.
They think that Israel’s rulers and its inhabitants practice and celebrate family, not abortion and homosexuality.
They think that Israel’s rulers and its inhabitants practice and celebrate the Bible, not socialism and feminism.
They think that Israel’s rulers and its inhabitants have close fellowship with God and that they are saved, that they are brothers and sisters for Christians, having no need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
No. They have no such fellowship and Israel is not living according to God’s laws.
Yes. Left-wing, right-wing and religious Israelis and Jews do need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Modern Israel courts tourists, whether evangelicals or homosexual activists, just for the sake of profits.
And right-wing Israelis, including Netanyahu, are courting homosexual activists the same way they have always courted evangelical tourists.
Of course, they do not embrace the gay ideology in the same radical way that left-wing Israelis do. But their “moderate” embrace of sodomy (the sin of Sodom: homosexuality) is a far cry from God’s commandments to the Jews:
“Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is an abhorrence.”
Sodomy brings death, as warned by the Jewish Scriptures. It is an abhorrence that left-wing and right-wing Jews have been celebrating this deadly sin in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and throughout the Promised Land.
Sodomy destroyed Sodom — and the ruins of Sodom are today in Israel, as a memorial to Israel and the world about the graveness of the homosexual sin. If Israel and its left-wing and right-wing politicians keep celebrating sodomy, what will Israel gain with it?

Brazilian Homosexualist Politician Jean Wyllys Is Criticized for Israel Trip

Brazilian Homosexualist Politician Jean Wyllys Is Criticized for Israel Trip

By Julio Severo
A popular left-wing Brazilian congressman known for his leadership in homosexual political issues is facing a major backlash from the Brazilian and international Left because of his recent trip to Israel. The legislator, Jean Wyllys, has angered the Left after participating in a conference at an Israeli university.
Jean Wyllys at Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Much of the material in this article was drawn from a report in The Intercept, a U.S. liberal publication. The Intercept put Wyllys in its headlines, praising his background of homosexual activism, but criticizing him for a minimal support of Israel.
According to The Intercept, on January 5, Wyllys shocked and infuriated many socialists. He posted a smiling photo of himself to his 871,626 Facebook followers, posing in front of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The attached comment read: “I am very happy and thrilled for the opportunity to visit, for the first time, this city full of history… Tomorrow I will give a lecture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem… about anti-Semitism, racism, homophobia and other forms of hate and prejudice and the relation to contemporary politics.” The photo garnered more than 24,000 likes and 1,700 comments.
The post immediately unleashed a flurry of comments, some in support but many voicing vehement opposition. Numerous critics specifically expressed shock and outrage that a standard-bearer of Brazil’s progressive movement would so completely break with his party’s official position in support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.
On Facebook, Wyllys declared that he opposes BDS. “I am against boycotts against any people. I think it is mistaken to confuse the government, the state and the population. Boycott destroys bridges and favors the extremists on both sides,” he wrote, citing the failed U.S. blockade of Cuba as an example.
His comments are befuddling socialists. According to The Intercept, “Brazil has no substantial pro-Israel lobby and support for Palestinian rights is a mainstream position.”
The intercept made a mistake, because the evangelical population in Brazil, formed by more than 46 million Pentecostals and charismatics (according to The New International Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements), is largely supportive of Israel. But these loyal supporters have been befuddled that Israel has officially invited a prominent Brazilian homosexual activist. Why not invite Pentecostal minister Silas Malafaia or other prominent Brazilian evangelical leaders?
Socialists around the world hate Israel. Why does Israel love them?
Conservative evangelicals love Israel. Why does Israel hate their conservative stances against abortion and homosexuality?
The socialist hatred for Israel makes no ideological sense, because Israel is the only nation in the Middle East having legal abortion, gender ideology, homosexual parades, feminism and many other Western evils. Above all, modern Israel was founded by Marxist Jews. The only explanation for this hatred is spiritual: God gave the Jews the land of Israel and everybody know it, because it is in the Bible, the book most read in the world and most hated by the Left.
In addition, there is no logical reason for evangelicals to be so supportive of Israel, which fervently defends the same leftist insanities Jean Wyllys does. But their reason is spiritual. They support Israel even when Israel supports socialists like Wyllys who are stridently opposed to evangelicals and their values. They support Israel because they know that God has a plan for Israel, regardless the fact Israel supports ideologies opposed to evangelicals. It is an insane complexity where Israel, even under a right-wing government, prefers to invite a Wyllys than a Silas Malafaia, who is a prominent evangelical minister in Brazil.
Even so, the Brazilian Left hated Wyllys’ visit to Israel.
Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro, a Brazilian diplomat who served on the Brazil’s Truth Commission (which treated communists as heroes and victims, but their opponents as criminals during the era of Brazil’s military rule) and was a U.N.’s Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, harshly criticized the congressman. “Lamentable and deplorable, Congressman Jean Wyllys’ comments about his visit to Israel reveal a crass ignorance of and total misinformation about Israel’s current human rights policies,” he said. That sentiment is reflective of the left-wing backlash triggered by his trip and subsequent remarks.
Wyllys’ controversial visit to Israel and his defense of Israel come at a particularly tense moment in bilateral relations. Brazil’s leftist Worker’s Party (PT) government, led by embattled President Dilma Rousseff, has refused to accept the appointment of Dani Dayan as Israel’s ambassador to Brazil on the grounds that he is a proponent of Israel’s settlements in the West Bank — which biblically belongs to Israel, but international socialists say that Israel has occupied illegally their own land. Under both Rousseff and her predecessor, PT’s Lula da Silva, their party has been vocally supportive of the Palestinian cause.
Wyllys has built intense popularity among Brazilian socialists with uncompromising defenses of liberal issues: introducing bills promoting marijuana legalization, sexual orientation statutes, full legalization of sex work (prostitution), and rolling back the institutional vestiges of Brazil’s former military rule — all anathema to the growing evangelical Right. He is the only openly gay politician on the national stage of overwhelmingly Catholic Brazil.
What caused more outrage among socialists was that Wyllys appeared at a university that, for them, is a symbol of Israeli “occupation.” Much of Hebrew University of Jerusalem is built in East Jerusalem. For socialists, East Jerusalem is a Palestinian land that was illegally expropriated by Israel. A letter signed by 351 international academics has condemned this university.
The conference attended by Wyllys was titled “Brazil and Israel: Social and Cultural Challenges.” It took place January 5 and 6 and was sponsored by Hebrew University, Brown University, the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Israeli Confederation of Brazil, among other institutions.
In an interaction that appears to have since been deleted, when one Facebook follower asked, “Jean, when will you visit the Gaza Strip?” Wyllys’ account (signed by his communications team) responded, “Maybe you don’t know that the Gaza Strip is currently under the control of the terrorist organization Hamas. It is not, therefore, a safe space for an open homosexual… but maybe you can go. Good luck!” In a later comment, he said he “would also like to go to other Middle Eastern countries, but I cannot, because in many of them I could be hanged or imprisoned for being gay.”
Socialists hate Israel because of the biblical view that the land of Israel was given to the Jews by God, but they love all the leftist pro-abortion and pro-homosexualism laws in Israel.
Evangelicals love Israel because of the biblical view that the land of Israel was given to the Jews by God, but they hate all the leftist pro-abortion and pro-homosexualism laws in Israel.
Socialists love Israeli socialism. But they hate the God factor in Israel and its land. For socialists, this factor annuls all socialist ideologies espoused by the Israeli society. I hope that someday the Jews may see the importance of this factor and how conservative evangelicals, not socialists, are the real friends of Israel.
Jean Wyllys can be criticized for many stances, including his defense of drugs, prostitution and homosexual depravity. But he cannot be criticized for supporting Israel, which is the only nation in the Middle East that does not murder homosexuals.
If socialists think otherwise, they should send all Brazilian and U.S. homosexuals to try to live among Palestinians…

“What does ANAJURE exist for?” The Marco Feliciano case

“What does ANAJURE exist for?” The Marco Feliciano case

Is the defense of civil liberties above religious differences? Or is it not?

By Julio Severo
Rep. Marco Feliciano has been under heavy fire from gay supremacists in Brazil, because he was appointed in 5 March to head the Human Rights Congressional Committee (HRCC) in the Brazilian House of Representatives.
Marco Feliciano
They are furious not only at his stances on homosexuality and abortion, but also because HRCC had always been headed by the ruling socialist Workers’ Party and other socialists, who operated this congressional committee to approve the allocation of millions of taxpayer money to homosexualist projects.
Under this socialist leadership, HRCC also discussed ways to criminalize criticism of homosexuality. Abortion and homosexual sex were their top priority concern.
Gay supremacists were satisfied to see their demands served by hardline socialists.
Then came Marco Feliciano, an Assemblies of God minister. Feliciano has not been theologically trained and has a hard time to express his views in philosophical terms. Nevertheless, he has been clear about values. His simple Pentecostal background has led him to take a firm stand against abortion and homosexuality.
So he has been pressed by all sides to resign: gay supremacists, liberal politicians, abortion groups, liberal media and… liberal Protestants.
A massive group of these Protestants, comprised also by gay Protestant militants, is petitioning the Brazilian government and Congress to remove Feliciano from the HRCC presidency. The House of Representatives president officially wants Feliciano to step down. The president of his party, under such pressure, wants him to resign as well.

Silas Malafaia, renowned Brazilian Pentecostal Televangelist, Supports Feliciano

A number of pro-family Christians, including Catholics, are supporting Marco Feliciano.
The Portuguese version of The Christian Post reported yesterday Silas Malafaia and Julio Severo as the main evangelical voices in Brazil asking Feliciano not to resign. Malafaia is also an Assemblies of God minister and has a massive audience through his weekly religious TV shows.
Silas Malafaia
In the The Christian Post article, Malafaia said that the attacks against Feliciano are coming from leftists.
He has been outspoken about abortion and homosexuality. Like Feliciano, he is not afraid to call abortion a murder and homosexuality a sin. But unlike Feliciano, he is much more articulate.
Yet, both Malafaia and I understand that this is not the proper time for us to judge Feliciano for his lack of theological training and philosophical gifts. Therefore, on account of his like outspoken stance on defense of family values, Feliciano needs support, not criticism or condemnation.

ANAJURE

So it is a surprise that ANAJURE issued a public message, on March 20, saying the presence of Feliciano in HRCC “is going to divide, even more, the Evangelical Church” in Brazil.
ANAJURE is a recently born group of Brazilian Protestant attorneys whose purported mission is to defend fundamental civil liberties, especially of Christians.
But its public message, signed by its president, Uziel Santana, has no such defense for the fundamental civil liberties of Feliciano. On the contrary, it accuses the Assemblies of God minister of “fomenting a holy war for his intolerant actions against intolerant” individuals and groups.
The message also questions the personal motivations of the Pentecostal minister, by saying “All of this because personal projects are above the values of the Truth of the Gospel of Christ.”
Reportedly, ANAJURE has had its first defection yesterday, because one of its directors strongly disagreed with the message against Feliciano.
From a Christian group self-appointed to defend fundamental civil liberties, we Brazilians should expect such a defense, regardless the doctrinal differences of the Christian victim. But this is a very hard test for ANAJURE, whose Advisory Council is headed by Rev. Augustus Nicodemus Lopes.

A Gay Activist in a Presbyterian University

Lopes is the chancellor of the Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo. He has several theological essays against Pentecostal and charismatic movements. Some of his articles are available, in Portuguese, in the website of his university.
On February 28, his university hosted a debate with Jean Wyllys, a member of the Brazilian House of Representatives. Wyllys is also a radical gay militant, working very hard in HRCC to advance the gay agenda.
To debate the gay activist, Lopes invited one of his friends in ANAJURE. But the students in the Presbyterian university booed the representative of ANAJURE, and praised Wyllys.
In the end, Lopes denied that he had sponsored the event, but the official university paper confirms that the debate was held in partnership with the university chancellor office.
This is not the only strange case involving its chancellor. In 2010 he had removed from the university website a Presbyterian manifesto against the gay agenda, because gay activists demanded it. He gave way. But he has never removed his several articles and manifestos against Pentecostals and charismatics.
My exposé of the inconsistent partnership, and the shameful fact that a gay activist was given an opportunity to defend his perversions in a Protestant university, resounded throughout Brazil. Major Protestant news websites published or mentioned my article.

Censorship

GospelPrime, GospelMais, Portal Fé em Jesus (Faith in Jesus’ Portal) and other Brazilian websites were contacted by ANAJURE, which asked them to remove my article and, in its place, publish ANAJURE articles.
One of the editors, who was under ANAJURE pressure, told me, “Sincerely, I do not know what ANAJURE exists for.”
GospelPrime, GospelMais and others gave in. Yet, Portal Fé em Jesus scolded ANAJURE for its aggression against free speech — in this case, my free speech.
The fact is, if ANAJURE had scolded Lopes for allowing a gay activist in his university, it would not need to ask major Protestant websites in Brazil to censor my fundamental civil liberties to denounce Lopes’ behavior.
Yet, even under duress, my article has had a significant repercussion in Brazil. The Facebook page of Silas Malafaia has spread it to its 168,000 followers.
What about ANAJURE and its purported mission to defend fundamental civil liberties? It is facing a hard time to do it in the case of Marco Feliciano, because its president thinks it is necessary to judge his character and motivations, but it is unable to do it in the case of one of its own directors.
And if you expose him for allowing a gay activist in his Protestant university or for him giving way to gay militants demanding the removal from his university of a Christian manifesto against the gay agenda, ANAJURE shows its muscle to defend cowardice and censor a Christian message against it.
ANAJURE is free to defend and attack anyone it wishes.
Even disagreeing with him, I will support Marco Feliciano for his courage, and I pray that he may not give in to cowards who want him to copy their cowardice.

Gay militant Jean Wyllys at Brazilian Presbyterian University

Gay militant Jean Wyllys at Brazilian Presbyterian University

Has Mackenzie Presbyterian University given in to politically correct trends?

By Julio Severo
In its debate entitled “Sexual Diversity and Religious Freedom: A Possible Marriage?” on February 28, 2013, Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Brazil, in partnership with its chancellery, invited congressman Jean Wyllys, a gay supremacist, to address sexual diversity.
In its presentation featuring Wyllys, the university said of him: “A militant for civil freedoms, he worked in the base ecclesial communities in the Catholic Church. Partner in LGBT, black and women movements. He is involved in activism to fight homophobia, intolerance and religious fundamentalisms.”
To avoid a 100% homosexualist debate, Chancellor Augustus Nicodemus Lopes also invited Dr. Guilherme Zanina Schelb, member of the Advisory Council of ANAJURE, of which Lopes himself is the president of the Council.
In the presentation featuring Schelb as a federal prosecutor, Mackenzie stressed that this member of ANAJURE became internationally famous as a coordinator of some major investigations, including one designated “Araguaia Guerrilla.” This investigation, according to the Brazilian Senate, was to answer the requests of relatives of the 68 communist guerrilla combatants who died in battles against Brazilian soldiers in Araguaia, in the North of Brazil in the early 1970s. Those criminals fought against the Brazilian government to establish a communist dictatorship in Brazil.
As if this were not sufficiently sinister, Schelb has been accused of trying to enrich himself with his research, an attitude conflicting with Christian ethics, particularly when profits are obtained in whitewashing outright communist criminals.
Despite all this, he is known as “moderate,” whatever this means.
Until now, Mackenzie had not made available the contents of the speeches of Wyllys or Schelb, but a student of the Presbyterian university, who attended the debate, expressed openly that she loved the speech of the gay supremacist, saying:
(Twitter) From a Mackenzie student to Jean Wyllys: “I am of Mackenzie e I just came from the debate! I am IMPRESSED by your ability to debate and your intelligence.”
One cannot say, however, that Mackenzie was the first Protestant institution in Brazil to invite a gay activist for a debate on sexual diversity. That dubious “honor” belongs to the Higher School of Theology (HST), which held an event in 2006 where the most famous participant was Luiz Mott, leader of the Brazilian gay movement accused of defending pedophilia. HST belongs to the Evangelical Church of the Lutheran Confession in Brazil.
What we can expect next after Luiz Mott in HST and Jean Wyllys in Mackenzie? Toni Reis, president of a large gay group in Brazil, at the blatantly leftist Methodist University of São Paulo?
While struggling to understand how Wyllys’ participation could provide some benefit for Brazilian Christianity or for the Presbyterian university itself, I read in the Twitter account of Wyllys his message recommending Ricardo Gondim, a famous progressive minister in Brazil, who has been corrupted by the Liberation Theology ideas:
(Twitter) From Wyllys to Ricardo Gondim: Beautiful text by the minister (a real minister, refined, sensitive, progressive).
Another message of Wyllys shamelessly recommends Paulo Ghiraldelli, a Brazilian philosopher known for his explicit defense of homosexuality and pedophilia:
(Twitter) By Jean Wyllys: Interesting contribution for the debate. Have you read this article by Ghiraldelli?
How could a Protestant university invite a homosexual activist who recommends an advocate of pedophilia? Besides, how could a Presbyterian university present him as an individual actively involved in the “fight against homophobia, intolerance and religious fundamentalisms?” Are they not ashamed of this?
Could they invite him at least for evangelization purposes? Of course. All institutions carrying the Christian name have an obligation to evangelize promoters of abominations, not to promote them.
In the case of Wyllys, who was trained in the base ecclesiastic communities, well-known hotbeds of Marxist Liberation Theology, it was a duty of the Mackenzie chancellery to veto and reject the granting of free ideological publicity for a well-known gay supremacist.
In 2010, the same chancellery, under pressure from such supremacists, removed from the Presbyterian university website a manifesto opposing PLC 122, a federal anti-homophobia bill sponsored by the ruling socialist Workers’ Party. This manifesto had been there since 2007. It led supremacists to notice and condemn the manifesto (which presented a watered-down opposition to the gay agenda), that the Mackenzie chancellor bowed to the threats of hardcore homosexual activists.
At that time, some Brazilian Calvinists connected to Mackenzie told me that the manifesto had been removed because Mackenzie’s prime concern was “evangelization.” But I did not see its professors and students going to the streets to evangelize among demonstrators. And the “fighter against ‘homophobia,’ intolerance and religious fundamentalisms” evidently was not invited to be exposed to detailed knowledge of the Gospel of salvation by the Mackenzie Calvinist theologians — an invitation he would have quickly rejected.
I suffer the same pressure by gay supremacists to remove from my blog my articles and manifestos denouncing PLC 122 and the gay agenda. Because I don’t give in, I am subject to all kinds of actions seeking to censor, block and eliminate my blogs entirely. Other attacks come from leftist Protestants who proclaim themselves to be defenders of faith or Calvinists. But neither my stance nor the constants attacks and threats that I receive hinder the evangelization of young homosexuals, many of whom have contacted me asking for help.
In the same way, I am sure that if Mackenzie had not removed its anti-PLC 122 manifesto, they would not lack evangelization opportunities, including among homosexuals and gay activists who study and work in the Presbyterian university.
However, if Mackenzie had changed mind and, instead of evangelization, just wanted a “debate,” why bring Wyllys? Why let him use the Protestant university as a “pulpit” to preach his perversions?
Would it not have been better to bring in a more qualified individual?
For a genuinely Christian debate on the threats of gay activism in the Brazilian society, Mackenzie could have invited Silas Malafaia, whose Christian view on homosexuality are worth much more than millions of speeches by Wyllys.
However, the belief of Malafaia in supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit as prophecy, healings, miracles and tongues for today could disqualify him from such an invitation. Besides, he doesn’t bear the Presbyterian or Calvinist seal of approval. But does Wyllys have such approval? All that he has done so far in this regard was to say that “Calvinists are allies of the homosexual movement.”
Was Wyllys referring to America, where the largest Presbyterian denomination ordains gay ministers and promotes a liberalism and leftism that would make Karl Marx’s rotten bones to tingle with joy in his grave?
If he was talking about Brazil, certainly he was referring to Genizah and other Calvinist tabloid clones of its liberal sensationalism. Can Mackenzie be included in this? In a direct way, I don’t think so. But indirectly, it is possible. The chancellor is not liberal, but his lack of belief in the power of the Holy Spirit among Christians today makes him vulnerable to politically correct pitfalls and pressures.
When describing the chancellor, the Babylon Dictionary in Portuguese (as accessed on March 2, 2013) says: Augustus Nicodemus Lopes “believes that the divine revelation through spiritual gifts and prophecy has ended, and does not believe in manifestation of tongues as a sign of the Holy Spirit’s activities in modern days. For this reason, he is considered by Pentecostal writers as a cessationist and elitist in his interpretation of the Scriptures.”
Maybe there was a lack of divine orientation to know when not to give in to the aggressive gay activism and when to behave evangelistically. “Where there is no prophetic vision,” Proverbs 29:18 says, “the people of God stumble.” Other versions say that the people of God perish. All of this because, as the Updated King James Version in Portuguese says, “A people that do not accept revelation from the Lord” stumbles, and some are making that unhappy choice because they believe a theology that determines that prophetic visions for ministerial and personal guidance are not possible beyond Bible times.
However it may be, with or without vision, it is obvious that the Mackenzie University didn’t invite Wyllys for evangelistic purposes.
Maybe they just wanted to use his famous presence so that the big leftist media, which so much pampers Wyllys with spotlights and propaganda, noticed that ANAJURE, a new Brazilian group of Christian lawyers, exists.
Such a tactics, if it was really used, is a strange way of achieving visibility and spotlight, especially for Christians, who should believe that God honors those that honor Him, and He gives visibility to those who openly — in the university, television or other places — acknowledges His name, as Jesus Christ, the living Word, has taught,
“And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God.” (Luke 12:8-9 ESV)
“The LORD makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts.” (1 Samuel 2:7 ESV)
At one time, Wyllys might have been invited only to hear about the Son of Man who frees men from homosexual sin.
