Has Paul Washer Mocked Apostle Paul’s Supernatural Experience?

Has Paul Washer Mocked Apostle Paul’s Supernatural Experience?

By Julio Severo
Calvinist evangelist Paul Washer has suffered a heart attack days ago and, in his critical condition in a hospital bed, he sent a message in his Twitter:
“If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t go to the third heaven.”
A heart attack time is not a time for jokes, against him who has suffered the attack and much less from him who suffered it.
Paul Washer
He who just watches the victim cannot mock, because everyone is equally vulnerable to death.
He who suffers a heart attack cannot permit himself the luxury of joking about God’s things.
Third heaven was a supernatural experience Apostle Paul had, in which he seems to have died and had heavenly visions, according to 2 Corinthians 12.
It is common for cessationist Calvinists to mock followers of Jesus who have supernatural experiences today. But to joke about supernatural experiences of the apostles is a more serious act.
If I were in Washer’s place, in a hospital bed in a critical condition, even remotely I would not joke about God’s things. I would tremble at such thought.
Washer said,
“If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t go to the third heaven.”
He has demonstrated a conviction that his audience is only going to feel better if he has an experience of normal death without any supernatural experience. Now, in issues involving death, who has the absolute control is God. If He chooses to do to a man or a woman what He did to Apostle Paul, all the glory be to Him.
Yet, why would Washer’s audience feel better if he had not supernatural experiences in death? Are they cessationist? Are they unbelievers? Do not they like God’s visitations? Are they people who spend their lifetime rejecting God’s interventions and in death they want to remain loyal to their unbelief for the sake of a carnal theology?
Apostle Paul did not choose to have a third heaven experience and other supernatural experiences. Who decides it is only God. Why would to avoid such experience make a man feel better? I am sure that Satan did not feel better with Paul’s experience.
I cannot understand the bad-taste joke of Calvinist evangelist Paul Washer.
I cannot also understand some of his omissions.
I have heard some of his sermons, where he specifically condemned what is called Prosperity Gospel. Yet, after many searches, I have not found any condemnation by him of the Theology of Integral Mission (TIM).
Prosperity Gospel does not threat Calvinists, who reject it totally. The only theology threatening Calvinists is TIM, which is the Protestant version of Liberation Theology. That is, it is a theology with a Marxist soul. On this subject, I have an e-book in English, Portuguese and Spanish. For more information, use this link: http://bit.ly/15AJmMC
Some could argue that Washer does not condemn TIM because he is an American and has never heard about it.
Such argument would hardly sustain itself, because Washer was a missionary in Peru for ten years. Peru is one of the Latin American nations where Calvinist churches were most influenced by TIM. So, ten years in Peru was time more than enough for him to see, hear and feel TIM in all its disgrace — unless he had not found that it was a disgrace.
Considering that Brazilian Calvinist churches have been highly affected by TIM, it was expected that all Washer’s trips to Brazil would include specific condemnations of TIM. Not some condemnations, but many. Yet, this has never happened…
For a Calvinist preacher to speak at Calvinist meetings in Brazil without addressing specifically TIM is akin to a medical specialist seeing a cancer patient and, instead of dealing directly with cancer, treating a cold. To treat the cold is important, but to deal with cancer is vital.
If Washer does not intend to treat the TIM cancer among Calvinists, why come to Brazil?
On the other hand, if he steps on the shoes of Brazilian Calvinists, TIM, will they want to invite him again to Brazil? It is easy for him to come to Brazil and, instead of attacking the main problem of the Calvinist churches, attack the problem of other churches.
Incidentally or not, Prosperity Gospel, which is so attacked by him, is the theology that has most harmed the advance of Brazilian socialism and TIM, which has been so embraced by Calvinists.
I would like very much Washer to have a third heaven experience. He would come back less unbeliever, less mocker and more focused on God’s priorities in regard to the serious problems of Brazilian Calvinists, who need much assistance. But if even a Calvinist as Washer is not willing to talk against the TIM cancer, who will do it?
My sincere wish is for him to recover from the heart attack and get an awareness of the important responsibility that he has to prioritize, in his warnings to Brazilian Calvinists, the threat of TIM. Only a miracle can achieve it, and I believe in miracles.

Spiritual Gun Control Is Not God’s Idea

Spiritual Gun Control Is Not God’s Idea

By Julio Severo
Armed defense is the proper response to armed violence. And from the perspective of personal and family security, gun control makes no sense, and its advocates are mindless and irresponsible.
Yet, physical violence is not the only threat to you and your family. There are creeping, unseen dark threats lurking from the spiritual world. And they are so lethal as physical threats.
As liberal and mindless authors propose gun control (which they ultimately intend as gun ban) to society, liberal and mindless theologians propose spiritual gun control to the church: no supernatural gifts from the Holy Spirit to fight and expel demons.
Secular gun control is moved by political ideology and spiritual gun control is moved by theological ideology.
Young men and women, who were brought up even in conservative Christian homes, are enticed by dark forces, and their families are powerless and disarmed to fight their spiritual enslavers because they have been misled by spiritual gun control advocates.
There is a spiritual war raging around everyone. Supernatural gifts are supernatural weapons. Without them, even Christians are easy preys to demonic forces and their attacks.
Prophecy, revelation, healings, tongues and other supernatural gifts are God’s arsenal for his church. They are necessary for delivering the captives and oppressed. They are necessary against spiritual enemies.
Satan has a powerful arsenal, available to sorcerers and other Satanists, to destroy individuals and families, and his weapons can only be countered by Jesus’s authority and weapons.
To preach the gospel without such authority and weapons is something that Jesus never let his apostles do, and he promised this authority and spiritual military equipment to his church for its mission in the whole world, because you should never go without them, especially in the confrontation with evil forces.
Jesus said to his disciples,
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (Mark 16:15-18 NIV)
He did not promise spiritual gun control. He promised the right to have and carry spiritual weapons in the whole world! Because the original apostles were unable to reach the whole world, this promise is to you and me!
However, as liberals want to ban guns in society, mindless theologians want to ban spiritual guns in the church.
Christians have a right to have spiritual weapons and use them against dark forces. Secular gun control is good only to killers, who find defenseless victims. Spiritual gun control is good only to Satan and his forces, who find defenseless victims.
Their propaganda approach to deceive their victims is similar. Secular gun control advocates use bizarre cases of gun violence as a pretext to ban guns to all families needing protection. Spiritual gun control advocates use bizarre cases of spiritual manifestations as a pretext to ban spiritual weapons to all Christian families needing protection. Whether secular or spiritual, gun control advocates think only in their ideology, whether political or theological.
Secular gun control benefits the secular Left. Spiritual gun control benefits the spiritual Left.
Books and articles by mindless theologians advocating spiritual gun control are a threat to the security of God’s people.
If you have spiritual and physical needs of security, you are entitled to have what God has made available to you, through His Word and His Spirit, to defend you and your family.
A gun-control mindset has never been God’s will for you. He wants to empower you and use you as a channel from His Spirit to bring blessings to you and your family, including protection, defense and, when necessary, attack.
The first step is to open your heart to Jesus and His Spirit. Next, by following 1 Corinthians 14:1, you should “eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.” (NIV)
This is the Spirit’s opportunity to empower and arm you!
Gun-free Christianity is Satan’s idea, even when inspired in the minds of theologians. It makes Christians defenseless and allow Satan to attack and destroy unopposed and undetected in his activities.
It is my understanding as a conservative Christian that law-abiding citizens should be fully respected in their right to have and carry guns for defense and protection. Only a communist would oppose such right.
It is my equal understanding as a conservative Christian that World-abiding Christians should be fully respected in their right to have and carry spiritual weapons for defense and protection. Only a “communist” theologian would oppose such right and tell that God does not grant today supernatural gifts.
Spiritually armed Christianity is God’s idea, and it works. It worked for Jesus and his first disciples, who preached and demonstrated the Gospel by healing the sick and expelling demons.
It will work for you too.
There is a spiritual war raging. Arm yourself with God’s weapons today.
Armed defense and attack are God’s ideas.

Syria Condemns Invasion of U.S. Troops in Its Territory

Syria Condemns Invasion of U.S. Troops in Its Territory

By Julio Severo
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said U.S. forces in Syria are invaders because they were there, since Obama, without government permission.
He also said that he has yet to see anything concrete from President Donald Trump regarding his campaign promise to defeat Islamic State.
While Trump talks about fighting ISIS, Syria is actually fighting ISIS and several Islamic terrorist groups, including rebels backed, since Obama, by the U.S. and Saudi Arabia.
Assad, in an interview with Chinese TV station Phoenix, said he is open for cooperation with Trump, but that Trump has not shown the same openness. The Russian military presence in Syria fighting ISIS has the full permission and cooperation from the Syrian government.
Assad said Trump’s campaign pledge to prioritize the defeat of Islamic State had been “a promising approach” but added: “We haven’t seen anything concrete yet regarding this rhetoric.”
Asked about a deployment of U.S. forces near the northern Syrian city of Manbij, Assad said: “Any foreign troops coming to Syria without our invitation… are invaders.”
The U.S.-led coalition has been attacking Islamic State in Syria for several years, since Obama. Obama’s attacks against ISIS never produced any positive results, especially for Syrian Christians, who have been the main victims of this Islamic terrorist group.
Yet, why should Trump imitate Obama and his antidemocratic interventions in foreign territories?
If Trump wants to fight ISIS in Syria, he needs the official permission from the Syrian government. Obama and his warmongering State Secretary Hillary Clinton never sought such permission. Obama just invaded and deployed his troops in Syria without any permission. In fact, according to Trump himself, Obama created ISIS.
Is the U.S. government at the service of Islamic terrorism? After all, by the U.S. laws, he who aides and abets a terrorist group is an accomplice of terrorism. And if ISIS is responsible for the genocide of Christians in Syria and Iraq, did Obama make the U.S. government an accomplice of the genocide of those Christians?
Why is not Obama judged for making the U.S. government an accomplice of genocide of Christians?
So, considering that Trump has already acknowledged that ISIS was created by Obama, it would be appropriate for Trump to apologize, on behalf of the U.S. government, to the Syrian government and people for the U.S. actions, under Obama, that made havoc in Syria and sacrificed its Christian population. The U.S. has a moral obligation to apologize to Syria, not mentioning making reparations.
If Trump wants to help Syrian Christians persecuted by the ISIS, his first step is to revoke his ban on Syria, or at least on Syrian Christians. On behalf of the U.S. government, Trump should apologize to them for Obama’s actions against them, especially by creating ISIS. The U.S. has a moral obligation to help and shelter Syrian Christians, including with reparations.
About actions against ISIS, Trump should do what Obama never did: ask permission from the Syrian government. Whether you agree or not with a government, this is not an excuse for you to invade this country, especially if wicked actions of your government made havoc in the nation you intend to invade.
Or Trump can support Russian efforts in Syria to defeat ISIS.
I have fully supported Trump’s actions to protect the U.S. borders from invaders. He has a right to protect his nation and people wishing to enter the U.S. need the proper permission. Yet, if Trump wants no invaders in his nation, he should not invade any nation.
Most 9/11 terrorists were Saudis. Even so, the U.S. has never invaded Saudi Arabia. On the contrary, last month, the Trump administration sent the CIA director to reward Saudi Arabia for fighting Islamic terror.
So to Saudi Arabia, which helped the U.S. government under Obama create ISIS, the Trump administration grants a crazy award, and to Syria, which was a victim of ISIS, does the Trump administration grant bans and military invasions? By far, this is not fair! This is craziness. This is sheer injustice.
If Trump wants to invade Saudi Arabia, with or without permission, I understand. If Trump wants to ban Saudi travelers and immigrants, I understand. But I do not understand his action against Syria. These actions are similar to Obama’s actions.
Syria, especially its Christians, is waiting an official apology from the U.S. government for its military invasions, since Obama, in its territory and for the creation of ISIS.
Recently, Trump invited Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to visit the White House. Conservative U.S. President Ronald Reagan would never have done it. In fact, Reagan never invited the leader of Palestinians for anything and he threatened to boycott his presence even at the United Nations. If Trump can invite an Islamic Palestinian leader fighting Israel, why cannot he invite Assad to offer apologies and reparations and, especially, offer assistance to his fight against ISIS?
If Obama gave military assistance to ISIS and Islamic rebels fighting Assad and the Syrian Christian population, why cannot Trump offer military assistance to Assad and the Syrian Christian population? Is not this fair enough?
Syria, especially its Christians, has been a victim of a wicked U.S. interventionism. Syria, especially its Christians, deserves an apology, not a ban.
Syria, especially its Christians, deserves U.S. military assistance against ISIS and Islamic rebels who received military assistance from Obama.
Even though Syria has one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, my spiritual connection, as an evangelical, is with evangelical Christians in the United States, and I appreciate that Trump has been advised by several good evangelical and charismatic leaders.
I hope and pray that these good advisers encourage Trump to apologize to Syrian Christians and impose a ban on Saudi Arabia, instead of Syrian Christians.
I am not a Trump adviser, but if allowed to offer an advice, as a conservative evangelical Christian, these are my words.

Muslim Pro-Family Leader Complains the West Highlights Islamic Violence, But Not Christian and Jewish Violence

Muslim Pro-Family Leader Complains the West Highlights Islamic Violence, But Not Christian and Jewish Violence

By Julio Severo
In a conference last week in Egypt intended to be a show of unity among Muslims and Christians, the leading religious authority in Sunni Islam lashed out at supporters of abortion, sexual reassignment and globalization, saying they aim to “annihilate all Abrahamic religions.”
Ahmed el-Tayeb and Pope Francis
Yet, Grand Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, head of Egypt’s Al-Azhar, used his “pro-family” speech at the conference held last week also to accuse the West of condoning Christian and Jewish violence while only highlighting Islamic violence.
Perhaps he meant that while Muslim terrorists are bombing, maiming and killing innocent people around the world the West refuses to see that Christian terrorists are doing the same thing. The problem is: terrorists among Christians are an exception, while among Muslims they are the rule.
Contrary to the false accusation by the Sunni leader, the West insists on portraying Islam as a religion of peace and refuses to recognize terrorists as Muslim while it tries to label pro-family Christians as “terrorists” not because they bomb, maim and kill innocent people, but just because they advocate pro-family values.
Al-Azhar, a centuries-old seat of learning that provides guidance to Sunni Muslims, is opposed to abortion, and views homosexuality and gender reassignment surgery — except in cases of birth defects — to be sins.
The most important Sunni nation in the world is Saudi Arabia, which is the main sponsor of Islamic terrorism around the world.
If Saudi Arabia and other Sunni nations fully embrace a pro-life and pro-family platform, fighting abortion and the gay agenda to draw Christians for a religious unity, in the end only Sunni Muslims will be left advocating pro-family values, because they have been slaughtering, including through ISIS, thousands and thousands of Christians a year.
U.S. administrations, including Bush and Obama, have been praising and protecting Saudi Arabia, in spite that the U.S. is the largest Protestant nation in the world and in spite that ISIS, founded, armed and trained by Saudi Arabia and the U.S., is the biggest machine of genocide against Christians today.
Last month, the Trump administration sent the CIA director to reward Saudi Arabia for fighting Islamic terror. What will the U.S. government do next? Will it reward Saudi Arabia and Sunni Muslims as pro-life and pro-family champions?
If it is craziness for Sunni Muslims who embrace the pro-family fight against abortion and the gay agenda to slaughter thousands and thousands of Christians a year, is it not a bigger craziness for the U.S., the largest Protestant nation in the world, to embrace at the same time pro-family values and Christian-killing Sunni Muslims, including Saudi Arabia?

Socialist Theology in the Assemblies of God in Brazil

Socialist Theology in the Assemblies of God in Brazil

By Julio Severo
Socialist evangelicals in Latin America have become revolted that C. René Padilla, who was scheduled to deliver the main lecture on Theology of Integral Mission at FAECAD (Assemblies of God Evangelical School in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) in March 10, 2017, had his lecture cancelled. His lecture would be sponsored by World Vision Brazil.
In an article titled “Welcome to the Past! In Solidarity to Dr. C. René Padilla, Now Nicknamed a ‘Marxist Christian,’” published by the left-wing Latin American Theological Fellowship, Harold Segura decried the cancellation and assured that the Theology of Integral Mission has nothing to do with Marxism.
His article purports, according to his own words,
“To express that I am uncomfortable with the cancellation of the lecture and my uneasiness with the reasons that justified it. To cancel such lecture by labeling as Marxist a lecturer as Padilla is to ignore what Marxism is, is to ignore who René Padilla is and forget the way a theological reflection is done.”
Segura also said,
“I think that what happened in Rio de Janeiro is a sign confirming what we are seeing also in other Latin American nations: a resurgence of past discussions. The return of old Christian squabbles of the 1970s and 1980s, when TIM appeared. In that time, those daring to talk about social responsibility in the churches were labeled communists; those venturing to preach in defense of social justice were under suspicion of Marxist militancy, and those believing in preferential option for the poor were excluded for being undesirable liberation theologians.”
In his Twitter account, Segura showed solidarity to Padilla and also to the gender ideology, by saying,
“Do you know what is gender equality? UNESCO explains key concepts for discussing in a very informed way.”
Actually, UNESCO does not explain gender equality. UNESCO advocates and promotes it. In 2012, UNESCO and other UN agencies asked Brazilian president to criminalize “homophobia.”
The gender ideology is one of the main left-wing banners promoting the homosexualist agenda. But Segura does not accept the label “Marxist” even when he carries its banner.
He decries the defeat of several left-wing governments in Latin America, and he recognizes that most these governments were promoting the gender ideology. He recognizes that Socialist President Dilma Rousseff was impeached especially by the Evangelical Parliamentary Caucus, among several reasons, over the gender ideology.
He sees these defeats as throwbacks to the Theology of Integral Mission (TIM). While he tries to defend TIM as a non-political theology, he cannot help lamenting over the political defeats of the Left in Latin America.
About 50 years ago, C. Peter Wagner warned in Latin American evangelical congresses that TIM was Marxist. In 1969, when participating in CLADE (Latin-American Congress of Evangelization), Wagner distributed his book that affirmed that the mission of the church is to prioritize personal salvation and warned of the dangers of leftist theology. He gave his book because evangelical leaders were beginning to praise TIM.
In the 1st Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in 1974, while Padilla was leading efforts to promote TIM, Wagner was leading conservative efforts against TIM.
Nevertheless all resistance decades ago, TIM grew internationally. Today, thanks to John Stott and his incredible work of make-up and enabling, TIM dominates Lausanne as an elegant social theology. Wagner’s resistance has been forgotten and TIM Latin American theologians have prevailed.
In 2014, Lausanne paid Wagner’s resistance back in the same coin, by holding in Brazil a meeting of Lausanne leaders against Wagner and his apostolic movement. The meeting was led by TIM leaders, especially Rev. Valdir Steuernagel.
In my 2013 e-book “Theology of Liberation vs. Theology of Prosperity,” there is a special endorsement by C. Peter Wagner, where he said,
“It is very important to be aware of the inroads that Marxist ideology has made into some branches of Christianity. In Latin America the nice-sounding concept of misión integral (integral mission) has turned out to be a thinly-disguised platform for leftist politics. Julio Severo understands this and he skillfully exposes these potentially harmful ideas in his book, Theology of Liberation vs. Theology of Prosperity. In it he helps bring forth the reality that even deeper and more permanent social change from poverty to prosperity can be effectively produced by proclaiming and practicing the biblical doctrine of the kingdom, opening the door for the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. This is a book that I highly recommend!”
For information on how to get the e-book “Theology of Liberation vs. Theology of Prosperity,” click ON THIS LINK.
Wagner’s warnings 50 years ago and today are very important. If TIM has nothing to do with Marxism, why do its adherents defend the gender ideology and the left-wing governments in Latin America that promote this ideology and several other anti-family ideologies?
Padilla’s lecture on Theology of Integral Mission at FAECAD was publicized within its institution in a very subtle and discreet way.
By the explosive reaction of TIM adherents, I suppose the lecture was cancelled.
Marcos Habib, a Brazilian who introduces himself in his Facebook as a “follower of Jesus Christ” and “communist militant,” said,
“There is again the litany of conservative ministers against the lecture at FAECAD (Assemblies of God Evangelical School) with René Padilla. Shi***ng boring people. They do not know the Theology of Integral Mission, but they criticize it as if they did it. What these people really want is to control church-goers. When there are church-goers engaged, there is a church fighting for the emancipation of the oppressed and the poor. Who is Julio Severo??? A talker, spoilt and a sh**.”
Rev. Mateus Feliciano, a theologian and TIM advocate, sent me a private message asking me to remove articles against TIM and Padilla; if not, he would report me. And in his Facebook account he asked publicly,
“Gang, I ask your assistance to remove a post of religious intolerance and deceptive information here in Facebook. Please, read this post and report!”
Religious intolerance because of a Christian view disagreeing with socialism and TIM?
Yet, my warning probably came too late. In his article of solidarity to Padilla, Harold Segura assured that in February 2016 he delivered the main lecture at FAECAD. He spoke about the Theology of Integral Mission and ecumenism.
I had thought that Padilla would be introducing TIM for the first time in the Assemblies of God. Segura has already done it. Padilla would only reinforce the initial introduction. TIM is already present in the Assemblies of God in Brazil through their most important theological institution.
Segura informed his readers that he is travelling to São Paulo, Brazil, to speak at the congress Integral Mission: Ways and Perspectives in the 21st Century. The congress is happening this week.
According to Segura, this major TIM congress will be sponsored by World Vision Brazil, and will have several speakers who are TIM advocates, including René Padilla, Ariovaldo Ramos, Ed René Kivitz, Valdir Steuernagel (whom he called a friend and former director), Christian Gillis, Carlos Pinheiro Queiroz, Ziel Machado and Regina Sánchez.
Ariovaldo Ramos, one of the main TIM advocates in Brazil, is famous for having defended socialists Hugo Chavez and Dilma Rousseff. Why then try to say that TIM has nothing to do with socialism and politics?
TIM adherents praise Marxists and advocate Marxist politics, including the gender ideology, but do they refuse the label “Marxist” for their theology?
Valdir Steuernagel is a powerful leader in the Evangelical Church of Lutheran Confession in Brazil (ECLCB).
ECLCB has international liberal leaders. Rev. Walter Altmann, a former ECLCB president, is the moderator of the World Council of Churches and he is an international theologian renowned for defending Liberation Theology (LT).
Steuernagel is known in Brazil as a TIM activist and internationally known for his leadership roles in the Lausanne Movement and in the World Evangelical Alliance.
From this pro-LT and pro-TIM liberal environment, what can result? A homosexualist theologian called Andre Musskopf.
With Altmann, ECLCB is in the Liberation Theology forefront.
With Steuernagel, ECLCB is in the Theology of Integral Mission forefront.
Of course, Steuernagel is not more prominent in TIM advocacy than Calvinist Ariovaldo Ramos and Caio Fábio.
TIM has no problem to walk hand in hand with Liberation Theology and Gay Theology.
Yet, if you cannot call TIM and its adherents socialist and liberal, so it follows that you cannot call ECLCB and its leaders liberal and socialist.
If Segura, Padilla and other liberal evangelicals want to defend the gender ideology at ECLCB and other liberal denominations, they will be warmly welcome there.
Yet, why do they insist in conquering the Assemblies of God, the largest evangelical denomination in Brazil?

Fall of anti-neocon advisers hinders Trump from pursuing his promised focus of partnership with Russia against Islamic terror; new neocon advisers urge the old, traditional focus against Russia

Fall of anti-neocon advisers hinders Trump from pursuing his promised focus of partnership with Russia against Islamic terror; new neocon advisers urge the old, traditional focus against Russia

By Julio Severo
U.S. President Donald Trump is losing his war against neocons, whose focus is partnership with Islamists against Russia. In his campaign, Trump wanted to change the focus, with a partnership with Russia against Islamic terror. But with the fall of General Michael Flynn, formerly appointed by him as a national security adviser, and other close aides who were supporting him for such partnership, neocons are having the upper hand they had in the Obama and Bush administrations.
Fiona Hill, Trump’s new anti-Russia adviser, formerly a member of a left-wing institution
Trump administration has been plagued by leaks produced by the U.S. intelligence services accusing Trump and his aides of contacts with Russian diplomats. In the latest leaks, publicized by the U.S. media, Trump’s son-in-law met with the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. at Trump Tower.
The media has been using such anti-Russia leaks as a battering ram against Trump and his administration, with daily accusations of Trump and his aides involved with Russia.
It seems that Trump will have no freedom to rule while he tries to head for his dreamed partnership. The only choice left to him is to leave and walk away from any thought of a partnership with Russians against Islamic terror.
And Trump is beginning to walk away.
The new attitude suggests the rising influence of a new set of neocon advisers who want to keep the old, traditional stance against Russia, including Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and new national security adviser H.R. McMaster. During his first meeting with National Security Council staff, McMaster described Russia as a country that threatens the current world order.
Despite Trump’s repeated expressions of admiration for Putin, days ago he hired Fiona Hill for senior position as a national security adviser. Hill, a scholar from the left-wing Brookings Institution, has written a leading book lambasting Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The new advisers are an effort of the Trump administration to please the press and neocons in their constant barrage of accusations that the Trump administration is friendly to Russia.
While Trump initially hired pro-Russian advisers to help him in his intended partnership, the new anti-Russian advisers show a pressure to follow the tracks of Obama’s and Bush’s foreign policy.
Trump, who spoke favorably about Putin throughout the campaign, is under such pressure that his new course is to follow the old course of Obama and Bush.
Trump has been trailed by questions about his possible ties to Russia for months. He had an unusually friendly posture toward Russia, praising Putin’s leadership and, at times, appearing to echo Kremlin positions on Ukraine and other matters. He had also repeatedly said that it would be better for the U.S. and Russia to have a stronger relationship, particularly in fighting terrorism.
But Trump’s initial efforts to implement his ideas brought the neocon hell against him and his administration. And now there have been some signs of his administration taking the old, traditional approach of Obama and Bush.
U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley hit Russia hard last month over its actions in Ukraine, saying the Obama administration’s sanctions imposed after Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 will remain in place until Crimea is returned to Ukraine. Her remarks came amid speculation that Trump is changing his intentions towards Russia.
Yet, Russia was not the only nation warned by the Trump administration. On the same day Haley condemned Russia, the Trump administration condemned Israel’s settlements. According to the Jerusalem Post,
“The White House warned Israel on Thursday — in a surprising statement — to cease settlement announcements that are ‘unilateral’ and ‘undermining’ of President Donald Trump’s effort to forge Middle East peace.”
How to explain Trump’s change?
According to Dr. Scott Livey, “Obama has set up a shadow government” against the Trump administration.
He said,
At the root of the Obama strategy and propaganda is the false premise that the Russian government is an evil America-hating regime that seeks to weaken or control the United States through James Bondesqe subversion and spycraft. Back in the 1960s and 70, when the liberals were politically aligned with the Russians, the Russian-based Soviet Communist bloc WAS in fact an evil empire, and DID work to subvert America. Indeed, the Cultural Marxism dominant in our university system and mainstream media attest to their success. Today, however, the Russian Federation is socially and fiscally conservative and strongly anti-Marxist.
Today’s primary cultural influence [in Russia] is not Marxism (as it is in the Democrat Party USA) but Orthodox Christianity.
Ideologically and culturally the Russian people are the closest match to American conservatives and populists in the entire world, and it is only the constant Obama/McCain/Soros/MSM/Deep State anti-Russian propaganda that keeps the Americans from seeing it. Yet, I fault the conservatives and populists themselves in this, since the very people they’re trusting for news on such matters as Syria, Ukraine, the US election and Russia itself are the one’s they know for a fact ALWAYS lie about cultural and spiritual issues here at home.
I can’t speak to Putin’s character pro or con, but I know he’s a more faithful representative of the will of the Russian people than any of our US presidents from HW Bush through Obama, and I certainly don’t trust the people who are poisoning western minds against him. If anything, their hostility to Putin should enhance his credibility among conservatives.
Lively said that a strong US-Russia partnership on global issues could solve problems, including ISIS and al-Qaeda, and that “The world would be a far better place under such an overtly Judeo-Christian alliance than what we have now under the greedy, Godless globalists.”
Perhaps the most important point in Lively’s message is that he challenged Trump to “rehire General Flynn and put him in charge of draining the swamp in the federal bureaucracy.”
Flynn has been critical of Obama’s and Bush’s approach to focus on Russia, not the Islamic terrorism, as the global threat.
By rejecting Flynn, what does the Trump administration want? To follow Bush?
In the recent show of lesbian host Ellen Degeneres, former President George W. Bush warned Trump to “stand up to Putin” and spoke about his friendship with Michelle Obama, which surprised other people.
In his administration, Bush was unable to stand up to Saudi Arabia, even though most 9/11 terrorists were Saudis.
His focus was not to threaten Islamic terrorists. In fact, his policies actually threatened Russia and Middle East Christians.
The Bush’s invasion of Iraq paved the way for Obama and Hillary to create ISIS, which slaughtered thousands and thousands of Christians. In his pre-election campaign, Trump recognized that Obama created ISIS and he criticized Bush’s invasion of Iraq.
Like it or not, Russia is the only nation effectively fighting ISIS. And a recent WND (WorldNetDaily) report confirmed what we already knew: Russia is protecting Christians and fighting Islamic terror.
What is evident is that left-wing Americans do not want in any way U.S. conservatives to have contact and friendship with the conservative Russia.
If Trump, under the pressure from neocons and his new anti-Russia advisers, wants to follow Obama’s and Bush’s ways, which brought blood-shedding of Christians, he will be in the wrong side of history, as Obama and Bush were.
Even though Trump had no conservative history, his anti-neocon speech was fresh air in the U.S. foreign policy. His first advisers, who were overthrown by malicious leaks, would have helped him to fulfill his speech. The new advisers will fulfill the old course.
The overthrown advisers, especially Flynn, were going to bring a new and necessary vision. The new advisers are keepers of the old vision, to protect old, unnecessary and obsolete interests, which have been bloodily costly to Christians.
To live up to his speech, Trump would need to fire the neocon advisers and choose more men like Michael Flynn.
Christians, especially in the Middle East, are mortally tired of the U.S. foreign policy, which sacrifices them and does not threaten Islamic terrorism and its main sponsor, Saudi Arabia.
The U.S. and Russia are two Christian powers able to stand up to Islamic nations sponsoring terror and genocide of Christians. Their partnership should be top priority. Their disunion is an Islamic dream that is a nightmare for Christians living under Islamic threat.
By following Trump’s speech in his campaign, I hoped him to walk away from Obama and his policies. Yet, Trump is keeping Obama’s homosexual imperialism.
Russia under Putin became a shining conservative model with its Obama-hated law banning homosexual propaganda to children and adolescents.
Russia has made a global difference against the gay agenda. Obama made a global difference on behalf of this agenda, and Trump is keeping the Obama way.
Yet, Obama, who hated the Russian law, loved friendship with Saudi Arabia, which kills homosexuals.
Trump has never praised the Russian law, has kept Obama’s homosexual imperialism and sent his CIA director to reward Saudi Arabia for fighting Islamic terror, when actually Russia is fighting Islamic terror and protecting Christians.
The U.S.-Saudi partnership is not a disaster only to Russia, but to Christians in the Middle East.
A U.S. hegemony at the service of Islam and the homosexual imperialism is not healthy to the nations, especially to Christians and their natural conservatism.
Let us pray that God may raise new advisers to Trump and that he may rehire Michael Flynn.
