Marriage rates in the U.S. plunge to the lowest level in the U.S. history as adherence to Christianity and its conservative values has declined over time and acceptance of contraception and cohabitation is widespread

Marriage rates in the U.S. plunge to the lowest level in the U.S. history as adherence to Christianity and its conservative values has declined over time and acceptance of contraception and cohabitation is widespread

By Julio Severo
The marriage rate in the United States has plunged to its lowest level in the U.S. history as couples decide to forgo officially tying the knot and opt to live together. As adherence to Christianity and its conservative values has declined over time, there’s been a growing acceptance of cohabitation.
The U.S. marriage rate fell six percent in 2018, according to government figures released recently.
In 2018 there were 6.5 new unions formed for every 1,000 people, the lowest rate since the general government started to record data in 1867, according to the National Center for Health Statistics.
From 2017 to 2018, the rate dropped six percent, from to 6.9 per 1,000 population to 6.5 - the lowest of the 1900–2018 period.
In 2019 over half of American adults were living with a spouse – down from seven in 10 back in 1970.
All of this has not happened by chance. A strong decline in adherence to Christianity and its conservative values has played a major role in the decline in marriage rates. According to the Pew Research Center in a 2019 study:
“Both Protestantism and Catholicism are experiencing losses of population share. Currently, 43% of U.S. adults identify with Protestantism, down from 51% in 2009. And one-in-five adults (20%) are Catholic, down from 23% in 2009.”
A strong Christianity is correlated with growth of marriage, family and birth of babies. And marriage is correlated with positive outcomes including longevity and economy security.
Widespread contraception has made marriage, family and babies unnecessary and made immorality, abortion and cohabitation widespread. When Christian churches and their members embraced contraception, they embraced the destruction of their churches, their families, their babies promised by God’s Word as gifts, their future and their civilization.
The United States, which in its foundation in the late 1700s was 98 percent conservative Protestant and had strong families, today has declining Protestantism, declining families and a growing Islamic population, because Muslims love their religion and their families.
And to get things worse, President Donald Trump, who is a Protestant who was elected mostly by conservative Protestants, has not protected traditional marriage. He has praised homosexual “marriage.”

Insane reaction from the left against abstinence message from Brazil’s Bolsonaro administration to teenagers

Insane reaction from the left against abstinence message from Brazil’s Bolsonaro administration to teenagers

By Julio Severo
Making a stir, the New York Times said “Brazil’s minister for women and families, an evangelical pastor, formulated a new abstinence campaign in consultation with a religious group,” adding, “Brazil’s far-right government has a message for adolescents as the nation grapples with a stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections: Save sex for marriage.”
In 1992, I attended an international congress with representatives from governments and NGOs from all Latin America, from Mexico to Argentina. There were many education and health officials. A high-profile representative from the United Nations gave a speech.
Basically, their message was that teenagers should be taught that they could make lots of sex — but only contracepted sex. And they promised that by following their enlightened guidance, there would be lots of contraception devices and information for teenagers to make sex and there would not be stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections in the future. We are in the future.
Their promises were fully fulfilled. Since 1992 Brazilian schools have been inundated with comprehensive sex education, with teenagers having access to every kind of birth control you can imagine and not imagine. And what does Brazil see today as result of such contracepted free sex policy for teenagers? By the own admission of the New York Times, “stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections.”
They failed. Now do they want fight a Pentecostal minister who is just offering another option to teenagers? On her Facebook, Minister Damares Alves made it clear that abstinence “would be the complementary policy, and not the only or the main one.” So Alves is being very democratic: She is allowing the old failed left-wing options and putting abstinence as just a complementary and secondary policy. Why are not left-wingers satisfied with such democratic approach?
The New York Times was not honest by presenting abstinence as a policy of “Brazil’s far-right government” because Bolsonaro has no history of abstinence advocacy. On the contrary, his history is directly connected to the advocacy of family planning as a way to reduce poor populations. Bolsonaro believes that the smaller the families, the better.
Even being historically a strong birth control advocate, Bolsonaro allowed his evangelical minister to introduce abstinence among birth control options. Isn’t this democracy?
Government officials would not expose teenagers to birth control devices if they were properly informed that many of them are micro-abortive and that their origins are suspicious. The individual responsible directly and indirectly for many of the birth control devices today is Margaret Sanger, who coined the term “birth control.” She was a theosophist with a Catholic background and Nazi connections. She also founded Planned Parenthood, the largest family planning, sex education and abortion network in the U.S. and around the world.
What advocates of free contracepted sex for teenagers want is big money to fund their expensive sex education and birth control devices. Coincidentally, the international congress I attended was sponsored by contraceptive industries. They have much to profit from increased teenage sex.
Why is the left so angry at the abstinence message? Damares Alves is not removing the traditional left-wing policies that have failed for decades — including contraception for teenagers and including the failed policy of equating teen pregnancy with sexual diseases. Conservative Christians have disagreements with her for keeping the old failed left-wing policy disguised as “health policy,” just as they have disagreements with her policy of keeping the same homosexualist officials from past left-wing administrations.
The New York Time said:
President Jair Bolsonaro and his allies accused their leftist rivals of encouraging teenagers to have sex at a young age. He also condemned a school campaign against homophobia that was designed, but never implemented, by his leftist predecessors. He called it a “gay kit” intended to “pervert” students.
His message was powerfully effective at mobilizing evangelical voters, a growing and politically powerful constituency in Brazil.
The government’s abstinence campaign is being led by Ms. Alves, an evangelical pastor who calls herself “extremely Christian” and is among Mr. Bolsonaro’s most popular and visible cabinet members.
The New York Times did not add the important information that the school campaign against homophobia, which was essentially homosexual indoctrination for schoolchildren, was never implemented because conservatives, especially the Evangelical Parliamentary Caucus in the Brazilian Congress, did fierce opposition.
Then the New York Times said, “Experts say the [abstinence] campaign could undermine the progress Brazil has made in curbing teen pregnancy.”
It is a very strange progress, because the New York Times recognized that today Brazil has a “stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections.” So is the New York Times implying that the “progress” of left-wing policies is indeed “stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections”? I am not surprised. When I attended the international congress with Latin American and U.N. officials, I knew that the result would be “stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections”! It does not take a genius to foresee the obvious.
The Bolsonaro administration is not abandoning the failed policies of the past left-wing administrations. According to the New York Times, the abstinence policy of Alves “would complement, rather than replace, existing initiatives, which include providing access to contraceptives and condoms,” including messages putting pregnancies and sexual diseases as evils to be avoided.
To equate teen pregnancy, or any other pregnancy, with sexual diseases, as left-wing campaigns do, is immoral, because each of us was born not like a disease or in the same level as sexual diseases. While diseases are created in the image and likeness of demons, we, through a teenage pregnancy or not, are created in the image and likeness of God.
If teen pregnancy is like a disease, as propagandized by left-wing fanatics, do Christians worship a “disease”? Jesus Christ, who is worshipped by Christians, was born from a teenage mother.
Following the United Nations, the Brazilian Congress approved in 2019 legislation banning marriage before 16. The approval happened under the Bolsonaro administration. So if God did today what he did 2,000 years ago — to impregnate, by the Holy Spirit, a Jewish teenage girl with Jesus —, would law-enforcement agencies go after the Author of this “criminal” pregnancy?
While leftists blatantly promote free sex for teenagers, in no way I am promoting teenage pregnancies. But teenage marriages and pregnancies were not crimes in the Bible and in the Christian history.
What the Left does is vastly harmful to teenagers. The Left promotes lots of free sex and contraception for teenagers (contraceptives paid by taxpayers), and there is no law to ban these. But the Left promotes only sex without marriage and without pregnancy.
Answering to the law banning teenage marriages, Minister Alves said, “Children do not date and adolescents do not marry, not even for fun.” This commentary is so inconsistent as the left-wing “progress” that includes stubbornly high teenage pregnancy rate and rising H.I.V. infections. If children do not date, why do they need comprehensive sex education with lots of contraceptive information? Is not this a powerful motivation for sexual activity? If adolescents do not marry, how to explain teenager Mary pregnant with Jesus?
Adolescents should never get involved in sexual activity. But if do they need such activity, they should be taught that the only option is marriage.
The U.N. policy, which Brazil and Damares Alves are following, of banning teenage marriage is actually intended for population control purposes. NSSM 200, a U.S. government document produced by the CIA, stipulated that the U.S. government should use the U.N. system to keep teenage and young women involved in studies to stop marriage and pregnancies. The clear purpose of the CIA was population control. Teenagers and young women studying long years cannot think in marriage, even though they cannot avoid sexual activity!
It is very immoral that the Brazilian government, even under Bolsonaro (called “far-right-wing” by the New York Times), is providing contraceptives and condoms to teenagers.
The international congress I attended in 1992 addressed exclusively “adolescent reproductive health.” One of the speakers was the Brazilian representative of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, the largest abortion group in the world. My participation in this congress provided material for Catholic pro-life leader Dr. Humberto Leal Vieira and Human Life International, of Fr. Paul Marx. The representative of the Brazilian government in the congress said that teenagers should be free to have sex — without the constraints of marriage and pregnancy. She was representing the Collor administration. Collor was elected as a right-wing president by a Brazilian people who defeated pro-abortion socialist Lula who could do… the same things Collor eventually did about teenage sex!
Often I wonder why we vote for right-wing candidates who, in a lesser or bigger degree, do the same things left-wingers do. Sex education and contraception are just two examples.
If Mary lived today, the United Nations and governments, including the Bolsonaro administration, would say to this Jewish teenager: “You cannot marry and you cannot definitely be pregnant with Jesus. But you can have lots of contraceptives and condoms at the expense of taxpayers! Or you can practice abstinence today and say to God to wait years for you be pregnant of Jesus!”
Even though the New York Times has criticized the abstinence policy of Damares Alves, it touted in the same report Women on Waves, a Dutch feminist group that offers free abortions for women in Third World nations. The New York Times saw lots of problems in the Bolsonaro administration offering abstinence, but no problem in offering abortions to teenagers.
The New York Times to Mary: “Do not practice abstinence. Get an abortion!”
Answer of Mary to the New York Times: “Sorry, abortion is the destruction of an innocent life! I will follow God and I will keep, as a God’s teenager, my pregnancy.”
Answer of Mary to the Bolsonaro administration: “Sorry, I cannot use contraceptives and condoms. I cannot also get involved with abstinence, because God called me to be pregnant of Jesus!”
The New York Times said, “emphasis on abstinence blurs the line between church and state.” This is a very extremist ideological stance. For the New York Times, it is ok for the government to offer contraceptives, condoms and abortions to teenagers, but does abstinence “blur the line between church and state”? Is the New York Time suggesting that the State belongs exclusively to pro-abortion left-wingers?
When left-wingers rule, they impose their failed dogmas — including contraception and abortion. And when they do not rule, do they want also to impose their same failed dogmas?
The Bolsonaro administration and Damares Alves should promote education for marriage and pregnancy and Bolsonaro should abandon his left-wing contraceptive mindset. It is time to abandon the failed left-wing propaganda portraying pregnancy and marriage as diseases. It is time to value marriage and pregnancy as special blessings from the Creator.

Churches Closing and Mosques Opening in The United States

Churches Closing and Mosques Opening in The United States

By Julio Severo
More than 70 percent of U.S. citizens claim to be Christian. Even so, 6,000 to 10,000 churches die each year in America — and that number is growing. Most denominations are declining as a result of a declining Christian population. It is so a serious problem that The Atlantic produced the headline “America’s Epidemic of Empty Churches.”
U.S. right-wing Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower dedicates large mosque in Washington DC in 1957
While Christian churches are closing in the largest Protestant nation in the world, mosques are opening increasingly. There were about 100 mosques in the U.S. in 1970, but Islamic immigration has led to hundreds more being built. By 2000, there were 1,209 U.S. mosques, which rose to 2,106 in 2010 — an increase of 74%.
Why are churches closing and mosques opening?
U.S. Census data from 1850, when the U.S. was over 90 percent Protestant, show that families had usually six to nine kids. Today, U.S. families usually have 1 or 2 children, while Muslim immigrants have over 3 children.
How will U.S. churches stop closing if their families are not having enough babies for decades? How will Islamic mosques stop growing if their families are having too many babies?
Some could blame left-wing Democratic President Barack Hussein Obama for the Islamization of America, but the facilitation of Islamization began before. Even though his name is 100 percent Islamic, it did not begin with him. It did not also begin with right-wing Republican President George W. Bush, even though after the 9/11 he treated Islam as a “religion of peace.”
Probably, it began with right-wing Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who attended the dedication ceremony of a mosque in Washington D.C. in 1957. In his speech, Eisenhower spoke about the beauty of Islam and religious freedom in America. Now, Islam is enjoying U.S. religious freedom to expand in America and, in return, Americans are enjoying the “beauty” of Islam: 9/11 and many other Islamic terror attacks.
Eisenhower was the first U.S. president to enter a mosque. He removed his shoes on entering. This is an act of submission, and Islam means exactly this: Submission.
To take off the shoes is a demonstration of deep respect. Only God, not Islam, deserves such respect. God told Moses:
“Take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” (Exodus 3:5 ESV)
A mosque is not a holy ground and God’s presence is not in that place. A mosque is a place of Islam, and Islam is a religious ideology of violence.
You can take off your shoes where God is. But to take off your shoes in a place where God is offended is an insult to God. A Christian should never take off his shoes in a place where Islam is worshipped.
Daniel in Babylon kept a high government post without “taking off his shoes” to other gods. Islam is another god, and if U.S. presidents think that Islam and U.S. evangelicalism are the same, they are doing what Daniel did not do: they are selling their Christianity for the sake of U.S. commercial interests.
Daniel never sold his God for the sake of Babylon’s commercial interests.
In his speech at the mosque, the Islamic Center, Eisenhower said,
It is a privilege to take part in this ceremony of dedication. Meeting with you now, in front of one of the newest and most beautiful buildings in Washington, it is fitting that we re-dedicate ourselves to the peaceful progress of all men under one God.
And I should like to assure you, my Islamic friends, that under the American Constitution, under American tradition, and in American hearts, this Center, this place of worship, is just as welcome as could be a similar edifice of any other religion. Indeed, America would fight with her whole strength for your right to have here your own church and worship according to your own conscience.
This concept is indeed a part of America, and without that concept we would be something else than what we are.
The countries which have sponsored and built this Islamic Center have for centuries contributed to the building of civilization. With their traditions of learning and rich culture, the countries of Islam have added much to the advancement of mankind. Inspired by a sense of brotherhood, common to our innermost beliefs, we can here together reaffirm our determination to secure the foundation of a just and lasting peace.
Civilization owes to the Islamic world some of its most important tools and achievements. From fundamental discoveries in medicine to the highest planes of astronomy, the Muslim genius has added much to the culture of all peoples. That genius has been a wellspring of science, commerce and the arts, and has provided for all of us many lessons in courage and in hospitality.
I consider it a great personal and official honor to open the Islamic Center.
Eisenhower was a deeply anticommunist right-winger. If you want to know what a U.S. right-wing president thinks about Islam, just read Eisenhower’s words. Or you can also read the words of U.S. President George W. Bush, who immediately after the 9/11 terror attack visited the same Islamic Center to deliver a speech to say to the American public and Muslims around the world that the Saudi Islamic terrorists who attacked the U.S. did not represent the true Islam. He said,
The English translation is not as eloquent as the original Arabic, but let me quote from the Koran itself: “In the long run, evil in the extreme will be the end of those who do evil. For that they rejected the signs of Allah and held them up to ridicule.”
The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That’s not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace.
When we think of Islam, we think of a faith that brings comfort to a billion people around the world — billions of people find comfort and solace and peace.
If Muslims and their religion represent peace, who does not represent peace? According to Bush in his speech at the Islamic Center, Americans who oppose Islam “don’t represent the best of America. They represent the worst of humankind, and they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior.”
So in this definition, if you oppose Islam, you are anti-American. Would I be labeled “anti-American” for saying that Islam is the greatest persecutor of Christians in the world? Would I be labeled “anti-American” for saying that Islam is behind most terror attacks in the world?
Bush finished his speech by assuring that Muslims “love America just as much as I do.”
After reading how right-wing presidents Eisenhower and Bush praised Islam and Muslims as “peaceful,” why worry about what left-wing president Obama said about Islam? Obama was just the natural result of Eisenhower’s and Bush’s foolishness, which may produce many other prominent Muslims in the U.S. politics, including presidents.
The foundation of the Islamization of America is found in Eisenhower’s right-wing foolishness.
If terror, violence and massive persecution of Christians do not represent Islam, so why did over 100 years ago Winston Churchill describe about Islam the same reality we see today? He said,
“The Mahommedan religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance. It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since, its votaries have been subject, above the people of all other creeds, to this form of madness… How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.”
Who lied? Eisenhower and Bush saw Islam as a source of peace and progress, but Churchill saw Islam as a source of violence and decadence. By Eisenhower’s and Bush’s standards, Churchill would be labeled “anti-American.”
I wonder why Eisenhower, as a right-wing president, “blessed” the dedication of a mosque in the capital of the U.S. government. Presidents of Islamic nations never attend the dedication of Christian churches. They do not even try, often, to hinder the massive persecution of Christians in their nations.
The building of the Islamic Center in Washington D.C. was funded by Turkey and other Islamic nations. I never see Islamic presidents removing their shoes to enter a Christian church to dedicate it. I never see Islamic presidents praising Christianity and blessing the dedication of a Christian church in their own nations just as a just retribution for the pro-Islam praises of Eisenhower and Bush. In fact, I never see the president of Turkeys giving back to Christians Hagia Sophia, the oldest Christian cathedral in the world, and hundreds of Armenian churches taken by Muslims.
While U.S. presidents praise Islam and its growth in the U.S., Islamic presidents do not praise Christianity and make all effort to hinder its growth. So who is truly submissive? While Muslims are making Westerners submissive to Islam, Westerns themselves are accepting to be submissive.
Let us see the math that brought Islamization to America: pro-mosque right-wing Eisenhower + pro-mosque right-wing Bush = pro-mosque left-wing Obama. The pro-mosque right-wing presidents got what they asked: a pro-mosque left-wing president.
So right-wingers cannot complain about Islamization of America. They are the fundamental part of the problem. They, not left-wingers, were pioneers in pro-mosque attitudes.
Evangelicals, who were since the Pilgrims the fundamental force in the birth of America, are the real hope for America in their belief that only Jesus Christ and His powerful Word can help America. Evangelicals, more than right-wingers and left-wingers, can recover the old American standard of the Bible as the center of the culture.
Yet, how can evangelicals help America if they are not taking care of their own future and the future of their churches by having the same number of babies that U.S. evangelical families had 150 years ago?
The same Eisenhower that was the first president to praise Islam within a mosque also asked birth control to everyone around the world. And birth control is the key for Islam to advance in the West. Eisenhower did not perceive that he was implementing the exact measures that are facilitating Islamic expansion in the U.S. and other Western nations.
With U.S. Democratic Harry Truman, Eisenhower served as co-chairman of a Planned Parenthood committee. Planned Parenthood is the largest family planning and abortion organization in the world.
Fortunately, U.S. conservative Republican President Ronald Reagan didn’t share Eisenhower’s love for Planned Parenthood. Reagan defunded the abortion organization around the world. For the Reagan administration, more people meant more ideas, more productivity and more consumers.
Even though Reagan excelled in pro-life and anticommunist stances, there was a big tragedy: under his right-wing administration the U.S. began its importation of Muslims from Somalia.
The “glory” of praising Islam and “blessing” the dedication of the first and largest mosque in the U.S. capital does not belong to left-wing presidents. It belongs to a right-wing president. When Eisenhower praised Islam and “blessed” the dedication of a mosque in Washington D.C., the U.S. welcomed Islam and its murderous spirits.
Jesus gave his disciples the authority to expel demons. As the largest Protestant nation in the world, the U.S. should know how to deal with Islamic spirits. But there are also non-spiritual measures. To ban Islamic immigration, a (non-fulfilled) promise by Trump in 2016, is a good measure.
The problem of immigration rose because U.S. families are not having enough babies. Where the population is not reproducing in sufficient numbers, immigration is necessary.
So by not having 6 to 9 children by Christian family, the U.S. is seeing lesser and lesser Christian babies a year, closing thousands of churches a year, welcoming thousands of Islamic immigrants a year and seeing a non-stop increase of Islamic babies and mosques.
The Islam praised by Eisenhower is opening mosques in America. The birth control praised by him is closing Christian churches by reducing Christian families in America. If you praise foolishness, you reap foolishness.

Muhammad is one of the top 10 baby names for first time in the U.S. history

Muhammad is one of the top 10 baby names for first time in the U.S. history

By Julio Severo
For the first time in the history of the United States, Muhammad made in the 2019 list of top 10 baby names, according to the parenting website BabyCenter, which released its annual list of 100 most popular baby names for girls and boys in the United States.
The online parenting and pregnancy website compiled the names of babies born to some 600,000 registered U.S. users in 2019. Its research found a rise in Islamic names, with Muhammad for boys and Aaliyah for girls making incredibly the top 10 for the first time.
Muhammad is considered the most popular name in the world, and UK news site Independent says it is “given to an estimated 150 million men and boys.”
“Muhammad’s been rising on BabyCenter top baby name lists around the world, so we knew it would soon break into the U.S. top 10,” Linda Murray, BabyCenter’s global editor in chief, said in a press statement. “Muslim families often choose Muhammad for firstborn sons to honor the prophet and bring blessings to the child. The name also has multiple spellings, and that helps a name get into the top 10.”
In 2018 and in 2017, Muhammad ranked No. 14 on BabyCenter’s list in the United States. The name Muhammad first entered the top 100 in the United States in 2013 and has been climbing ever since. Now, there is no turning back. Muhammad will advance furiously until it reaches the number 1 in the top ten.
The increased popularity of Muhammad as a baby name in the United States is directly linked to the natural increase of Islamic families and immigrants. While U.S. families have usually two babies, Islamic families and immigrants have many more babies.
Islamic families are less likely to use birth control. Christian families are more likely to use birth control, even though there are specific verses in the Bible about large families and many children as blessings. There is even a specific God’s command to increase and be fruitful.
The consequence of U.S. Christians not increasing enough is that they are letting Muslims increase more than enough.
The increase of Islamic immigrants and Islamic babies brings other consequences. Since 2014 the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey has been showing that Arabic is the fastest growing language in the U.S. among over 60 million residents who do not speak English.
In many U.S. states, Islam ranks as the second most prevalent religion. This is a totally new reality for the U.S. While in the past Protestantism was dominant in the U.S. and Catholicism was often the second most important religion, now increasingly Islam reaches the second place and, if Americans keep rejecting babies and loving contraception and abortion, Muslims will defeat Americans just by the sheer numbers of their babies.
U.S. Christians also do not understand that the Statue of Liberty is a powerful Islamic symbol.
The name Muhammad is increasing not only among babies in the U.S., the largest Protestant nation in the world. It is very popular also among babies in Berlin, Germany’s capital, because German Christians have embraced birth control. And Muhammad nows tops as the most popular baby name in Britain, a traditionally Protestant nation.
Islamic families understand that babies are the future of a nation, civilization and religion. The more, the better. U.S. Christian families just do not understand such reality. For them, the smaller, the better. They just do not see that birth control destroys the future of families, a nation, civilization and religion.
Babies are the future. Birth control destroys the future. Muslims are just taking advantage of this reality. U.S. Christians are foolishly delivering the future of America to those who have more babies.
It is not Islam that threatens the Christian future of America. It is the U.S. rejection of babies through birth control.
If Christian Americans today had so many babies as the Pilgrims and the Americans of the generation of the Founders had — about eight children per family —, the name Muhammad would never be even in the top 100 baby names in the U.S., which would have no longer need to import millions of immigrants, including Muslims, who are defacing America in her own origins, roots and spiritual foundations.
