Trump’s coronavirus treatment was based on a pharmaceutical drug developed with cells derived from an aborted baby

Trump’s coronavirus treatment was based on a pharmaceutical drug developed with cells derived from an aborted baby

By Julio Severo

U.S. President Donald Trump has been treated with an anti-COVID-19 experimental drug called Regeneron (or REGN-COV2), developed by the pharmaceutical company Regeneron with cells derived from an aborted baby. He called it a God-given miracle cure. What now will his pro-life supporters think? How will they respond?

Because Trump was touting and propagandizing so much hydroxychloroquine for coronavirus or COVID-19, everybody was expecting him to use it for his own COVID-19 infection. But he used a drug that is opposite to his pro-life speeches.

After falling ill from a coronavirus infection, Trump received Regeneron. The treatment proved effective, with Trump returning to his office within a matter of days. He has since praised Regeneron as “miracle coming down from God.”

Yet, could anything connected to abortion, remotely or not, be a blessing of God?

Regeneron administered to Trump was tested using a supply of HEK 293T human cells, which have been cloned and modified in pharmaceutical labs for decades. These cells originate from a baby aborted in 1973, the exact year when abortion was legalized in the United States.

Some pro-life activists think that the abortion origin of HEK 293T is not important today. In a report using information from Regeneron, LifeNews said that HEK 293T cells “keep dividing endlessly… and have gone through other genetic changes” that “Over such a length of time, they can become disassociated from their origin.”

So, for LifeNews, HEK 293T lost its abortion origin.

In a communication with Debi Debi Vinnedge, president of Children of God for Life, a Catholic group that has been warning about tissue of aborted babies in vaccines, I asked her about HEK 293T:

“Do you think that these cells have gone for so many changes during the years that they just lost their origin from an aborted baby?”

Vinnedge’s answer:

“Absolutely not — they have not lost their origin at all. HEK-293 cells still contain the original human DNA from that aborted baby. Yes, the cells have been used over and over again and have been modified in some cases. But they are still very much human and still have the original aborted baby’s DNA. One cannot disassociate themselves from that abortion. And if the cells were somehow so drastically changed they would no longer be HEK-293 cell, but some other genotype and certainly some other named cell line.”

She also said:

“Regeneron used the HEK-293 aborted fetal cells to produce a Spike protein – then injected that protein into a humanized mouse. They then took an antibody from that mouse and used that along with a second antibody that was grown in hamster cells. The HEK-293 aborted fetal cell line is well established and has been used for decades in many medicines and vaccines.  Genetically, there is no difference between the original cell line and what is used today other than the age of the cells. See our chart listing products using this on our website here. So while the HEK cells are not IN the antibody treatment Trump received, it most certainly was not morally developed – AND they also tested for efficacy on the HEK cells as well. But Trump had absolutely no way of knowing this and the media is trying to use it politically to harm Trump.”

If even a pro-life organization as LifeNews does not know that HEK 293T has abortion connections today, how could Trump’s evangelical advisers know? In fact, how could he know himself?

Of course, the media is exposing the HEK 293T issue not because they oppose abortion or because they want to stop the use of tissue of aborted babies in vaccines and other pharmaceutical drugs. They are exposing it to harm Trump and his campaign. If leftist Joe Biden had used a treatment with HEK 293T, the Big Media would have remained silent.

Trump has made many pro-life speeches as a Republican candidate and as president, although before entering politics he expressed pro-abortion views.

In January 2020, Trump became the first U.S. president to speak at the March for Life, claiming that “unborn children have never had a stronger defender in the White House” and “every child is a precious and sacred gift from God.”

Despite these strong pro-life stances, Trump touted the success of Regeneron in a video filmed at the White House on October 7, 2020 in which he promised it would be made free to Americans.

Given the Trump administration’s pro-life resistance to research involving tissue from aborted babies, it seemed extremely strange that Trump, who has widespread support from the pro-life movement, has lauded Regeneron as God’s miracle.

In 2019, Trump cut federal funding for cancer treatments based on tissue from aborted babies. A special commission was established within the U.S. Health Department — staffed with many pro-life specialists — to monitor and block research projects based on abortion. So far, it has already rejected 13 of 14 research proposals.

Yet, with Regeneron the story seems to have changed radically.

“Within a very short period of time they gave me Regeneron, it’s called Regeneron, and other things too but I think this was the key,” Trump said of his treatment. “It was, like, unbelievable. I felt good immediately. I felt as good three days ago as I do now.”

Regeneron has received $450million from the Trump administration for up to 300,000 doses of its pharmaceutical drug.

The challenge posed by Regeneron is: How will the Trump administration conciliate its pro-life speeches with the promotion of a pharmaceutical drug based on the tissue of an aborted baby? How will Trump’s pro-life supporters respond to it? How will his evangelical supporters respond to his comparison of Regeneron with God’s miracle?

As to me, even though I think that Joe Biden, who is pro-abortion, would see no problem in using pharmaceutical drugs based on aborted babies, I would prefer to see Trump using hydroxychloroquine than using Regeneron. Abortion is not pleasing and ethical in any form, whether in an abortion clinic or pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines.

My hope and prayer, as a pro-life evangelical who supports Trump’s pro-life speeches, is that his pro-life advisers can advise him to apply to himself the same ethical principle to block in the U.S. Health Department any treatment based, even in the most remote way possible, on the abortion of an innocent baby.

Prophecy of David Wilkerson and the Apocalypse Plague

Prophecy of David Wilkerson and the Apocalypse Plague

By Julio Severo
The most prophetic book in the Bible, containing revelations for the last days, is Revelation, which says,
“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” (Revelation 6:8 NIV)
David Wilkerson
Revelation shows that punishments of death through wars, hunger and plagues in the last days are the result of sin in the nations.
Coronavirus, or COVID-19, came from China, a communist nation engaged for decades in persecution against Christians. And the virus spread through powerful Christian nations — America, the largest Protestant nation in the world, and Brazil, the largest Catholic nation in the world.
America and Brazil should have rebuked China for its human rights violations against Christians, but they always preferred to put trade above innocent victims.
In 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump visited China in the first year of his administration, and he even congratulated China for the anniversary of its communist revolution that killed millions of Chinese.
If China is today great and capitalist it is because the U.S. made China great and capitalist. If China is today a huge communist threat, it is because the U.S., in its commercial ambitions, made China such massive threat.
Both Trump and Bolsonaro did not use their visits to defend Christians, who have been immensely persecuted in China for decades.
So it is no wonder that the U.S. and Brazil became the main hotspots of coronavirus, as result of the spread of the China virus or, in biblical terms, as the result of the sins of these nations putting trade interests above the human rights of Christians persecuted by the communist China.
Interestingly, the China virus hit exactly trade, closing businesses throughout the U.S., Brazil and other nations, causing massive economic losses.
So it was useless for the U.S. and Brazil to put trade above oppression against Christians. In the end, trade was not worth it.
In a powerful prophecy in the 1980s, Rev. David Wilkerson, the author of “The Cross and The Switchblade,” said that America, busy in trade and God-less capitalism, fits the role of Babylon the Great in the book of Revelation in the Bible. Babylon is portrayed in the Bible as a system or nation busy in trade and God-less capitalism.
Some people could interpret plagues in Revelation as punishment sent by God, but today we, who live in the last days, understand that plagues like coronavirus are sent not by God, but from people’s and nations’ sins. Coronavirus came from communist China. It is a communist plague, fueled by capitalist nations making China and its communist threat great.
Could the China virus be one of the apocalyptic plagues in Revelation?
Could there be some prophetic meaning in what is happening?  Might God be allowing this epidemic as a consequence of sins of people and nations?
Dr. Mike Evans has commented,
As I was preparing this message in my prayer room, I picked up an old Bible. I have several dozen Bibles, and a note fell out of this old Bible and as I read it, I was trembling and crying. Here is why. It was written in 1986 on a Tuesday. I was having breakfast with a minister by the name of David Wilkerson at the Embassy Suites near the Dallas Fort-Worth Airport. The letter he showed me was addressed to Rev. Richard Dortch who was running PTL under Jim Bakker. It said, “Rev. Dortch, within 12 months from the date of this letter the judgment of God will fall on PTL. You are fornicating with brick and stone. Flee now and repent. Bats will fly through the empty building.” A month later, I was with Dortch, and he mocked David’s letter saying, “if I fornicate it will not be with brick and stone. These attacks aren’t against me or Jim Bakker, they are against God.”
It was exactly 12 months to the day that The Charlotte Observer broke the PTL scandal. Twelve months to the day of Dave Wilkerson’s letter. But he said something else to me that I wrote down. He said, “I see a plague coming on the world and the bars, church, and government shut down. The plague will hit New York City and shake it like it has never been shaken. The plague is going to force prayerless believers into radical prayer, into their Bibles and repentance will be the cry from true men of God in the pulpit. And out of it will come a third Great Awakening that will sweep America and the world.” —David Wilkerson.
Then Evans said that the coronavirus plague in New York City shook it like it has never been shaken.
Sin brings death, including spiritual and eternal death.
What can we do? People need to know that Jesus died to deliver them from sin and hell. Worse than coronavirus is to depart to eternity without Jesus’ salvation. But how will people know about this salvation if we do not speak about what Jesus did on the cross for them?
Jesus is bigger than coronavirus, China and its communist threats and all diseases and death. His blood is powerful to protect and save. So let us run to Him.
In time and out of time, we should proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, healing the sick and expelling demons, exactly as Jesus taught us.

Crazy and Sensible Views on the COVID-19 Pandemic

Crazy and Sensible Views on the COVID-19 Pandemic

By Julio Severo
People are highly divided on the COVID-19 pandemic. Let us see some views:
Democrat: It’s bigger than God.
Atheist: Where is God to heal all victims of this pandemic worldwide?
Cessationist Calvinist: Where are charismatics and Pentecostals with the gift of healing to heal all victims of this pandemic worldwide?
Conspiracy theorist: It doesn’t exist! It’s all FakeNews.
Uninformed conservative: It’s a little flu.
Liberal media: busy extolling the pandemic for everyone.
Christian who evangelizes: busy exalting Jesus Christ for everyone.
Pentecostal: I rebuke this virus, in the name of Jesus!
Christian with faith: God is greater.
Calvinist who does not evangelize: Everything has already been predestined. Whoever catches it, caught it. Whoever doesn’t catch it, didn’t catch it.
If replacing God or charismatics and Pentecostals for medicine, atheists and cessationist Calvinists could question in chorus: If medicine is real, why doesn’t it heal all the sick of this pandemic worldwide?
To that, conspiracy theorists with uninformed conservatives could answer in chorus: Heal what? This pandemic does not exist or is a little flu!

Amid Coronavirus Pandemic, a Miraculous Sign of Hope in Brazil

Amid Coronavirus Pandemic, a Miraculous Sign of Hope in Brazil

By Julio Severo
While a war rages in Brazil that politicizes the coronavirus pandemic or COVID-19, with two sides polarizing the problem, there is a group that focuses on the spiritual solution. It is evangelicals who in crises seek God in prayer and fasting.
Translation: Holy Call from Our President Jair Bolsonaro for a National Fast. April 5 Next Sunday. “To all evangelical leaders of our Brazil and their ministries, we call on everyone to this national fast for our nation.”
Many evangelicals are praying and fasting for their families, churches and Brazil. And pastors had long been calling on the people and even asking Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to proclaim a national fast. Although he is a syncretic Catholic open to all kinds of spirituality, Christian and otherwise, Bolsonaro complied with the request, and issued a proclamation, in a video recorded with several evangelical pastors, especially calling on evangelical leaders for a national fast.
The date of the national fast was Sunday, April 5, 2020. Evangelicals from all over Brazil prayed and fasted. And an extraordinary miracle happened. Official data from Brazil’s Ministry of Health, in its Daily Epidemiological Report on Coronavirus published on April 10, 2020, show deaths from coronavirus decreasing shortly after April 5.
What does the report say about coronavirus deaths until April 5? That these deaths were going up. For example, on April 3, there were 58 deaths. On April 4, 65 deaths. On April 5, 69 deaths.
Yet, the rise not only stopped after that. It reversed itself. On April 6, there were 64 deaths. On April 7, 50 deaths. On April 8, 45 deaths. On April 9, 22 deaths.
While many could attribute this drastic change to coincidences, evangelicals who were called to prayer and fasting know very well that the author of these coincidences is God, who responded mercifully.
Yet, on April 14 the death toll spiked to 200. Did the miracle fail? No. The miracle was a sign that evangelicals need to continue praying and fasting.
The miracle was a sign that God gave that He has the answer to the pandemic. And He can not only heal Brazil of this plague, but also heal its economy that is seriously ill.
He can also heal Brazil of its spiritual illnesses, including witchcraft, idolatry and syncretism that harm a large part of the Brazilian population, bringing ignorance and misery. A nation can only grow and prosper when it follows what the Bible says.
Mercifully, God gave a miracle to Brazil and its president, showing that the solution is not in witchcraft, the occult, idolatry and syncretism. It is in Jesus Christ.
The path of hope that God has opened to solve the coronavirus pandemic and other problems that plague Brazil is to seek Him in prayer and fasting, and other miracles will come.

It Is No Coincidence that COVID-19 Is Happening at Easter

It Is No Coincidence that COVID-19 Is Happening at Easter

By Julio Severo
U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams appeared on CBN News where he said about the COVID-19 pandemic: “No coincidence that this is happening at Easter.”
Under a danger of death, no one has time to think in Easter Bunnies and other fantasies. And if he thinks that COVID-19 is a fantasy itself, only disease and death can dispel it from his mind.
Yet, most people are too worried to give attention to fantasies. This is the reason it is more important than ever to value the Easter season as the season where Jesus was sacrificed as an innocent Lamb to deliver us from eternal death and angels of death.
In the ancient Egypt, God commanded a death plague to chastise Egyptian idolaters, and God’s people were protected by putting the blood of a lamb in their doors and by staying in their houses. They obeyed and were protected.
Jesus is such Lamb in such perilous time. And His blood has power.
Might there be some prophetic meaning in what is happening?  Might God be allowing this epidemic as a consequence of sins of people and nations?
Dr. Mike Evans has commented,

Did you see what he just said? The greatest coronavirus plague is in New York City right now, shaking it like it has never been shaken.
What can we do? People need to know that Jesus died to deliver them from sin and hell. Worse than coronavirus is to depart to eternity without Jesus’ salvation. But how will people know about this salvation if we do not speak about what Jesus did on the cross for them?
In 2018, Trump celebrated Easter, Passover… and Easter Bunny, mixing everything as if they were of equal value. I doubt that he will celebrate the useless Easter Bunny in 2020.
Coronavirus is bigger than Easter Bunny and fantasies. But Jesus is bigger than coronavirus and all diseases and death. His blood is powerful to protect and save. So let us run to Him.
In time and out of time, we should proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, healing the sick and expelling demons, exactly as Jesus taught us.

Christian pastor who said coronavirus pandemic is “mass hysteria” died from the virus after ministry trip

Christian pastor who said coronavirus pandemic is “mass hysteria” died from the virus after ministry trip

By Julio Severo
A Christian pastor, who shared claims that coronavirus is media “mass hysteria,” is among the first people recorded to have died from the virus in North Carolina, the land of Billy Graham.
Pastor Landon Spradlin and his wife
Landon Spradlin, 66, from Gretna in Virginia, fell ill with the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, on a trip to New Orleans and died on March 25, 2020 at a hospital in Concord, North Carolina. The death of Spradlin, an accomplished musician and a pastor, has drawn viral attention online, in part because he questioned whether media coverage of the disease was overblown.
While driving home from New Orleans, Spradlin, who had pastored at several different churches over the years, started feeling much worse. He and his wife, Jean Spradlin, stopped in Concord, where he was admitted to a hospital and diagnosed with pneumonia. He was eventually put on a ventilator as his condition worsened before he died.
On 13 March, the pastor shared online a meme suggesting coronavirus deaths were comparable to that of swine flu.
The post compared the “mass hysteria” surrounding the number of deaths from the coronavirus in the U.S. while Donald Trump has been president compared to the deaths from H1N1 under Barack Obama’s administration.
In the comments section underneath the March 13 post, Spradlin wrote that while he knows COVID-19 is real, the “real issue” is “the media is pumping out fear and doing more harm than good. It will come and it will go.”
While you should pray for God’s comfort visiting Spradlin’s family, his case shows that even when you have faith, you should never diminish the reality and cruelty of diseases. You should face this reality with faith and caution.
During a bubonic plague outbreak, the 16th-century theologian Martin Luther said in a letter titled “Whether One May Flee From a Deadly Plague”:
You ought to think this way: “Very well, by God’s decree, the enemy has sent us poison and deadly offal. Therefore, I shall ask God mercifully to protect us. Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine, and take it. I shall avoid places and persons where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated and thus perchance infect and pollute others, and so cause their death as a result of my negligence. If God should wish to take me, he will surely find me and I have done what he has expected of me and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others. If my neighbor needs me, however, I shall not avoid place or person, but will go freely.”
Luther confronted the danger and reality of a mortal disease with faith and courage. So should we do too.
