After Pressure, Google Restores Blog Julio Severo in Portuguese

With no explanation or notification, Google made my blog in Portuguese (http://juliosevero.blogspot.com/) disappear in the first minutes of Thursday, October 23.

After 24 hours of pressure from international readers, with no notification, Google made my blog reappear.

People in Brazil and other nations began to question Google in social networks and also by contacting the company: “Why to suspend Blog Julio Severo in Portuguese on the height of the Brazilian presidential elections in the exact time Severo published an article instructing the Brazilian public that both candidates support the gay agenda?”

One of the many pressures came from Rev. Alberto Thieme, who contacted Google headquarters and Google in Brazil.

Ultimately, the company explained to him that probably my blog “was found to violate Blogger’s policies.” What violation? No explanation.

Hours later, with no explanation, Google restored my blog.

International Pressure

The only explanation is massive pressure. Even in Italy people protested the Google censorship against my blog, in an Italian article entitled “Google censura un sito prolife: siamo in campagna elettorale!” (Google censors pro-life website in the height of the electoral campaign!)

Rev. Michael S. Heath, Helping Hands Ministry, U.S., commented to my blog:

“This morning I read Newsweek magazine's excerpt from Julian Assange’s new book, ‘When Google Met Wikileaks.’ The article concludes, ‘If the future of the Internet is to be Google, that should be of serious concern to people all over the world—in Latin America, East and Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, the former Soviet Union and even in Europe—for whom the Internet embodies the promise of an alternative to U.S. cultural, economic, and strategic hegemony.  A “don’t be evil” empire is still an empire.’ While Google’s decision to shut Julio’s blog yesterday suggests that the empire’s Force may indeed be evil, it is most certainly gay. Other than responding to complaints from sodomites why would Google have had any interest in turning off the blog?  Julio is an honest broker of information critical of America’s global effort to normalize sodomy.  I suspect his blog would be ignored by America’s force-channeling Yodas at Google, were it not for his relentless patriotic defense of family, faith and freedom.”

The last time my blog was shut down was in 2007, when many people, including philosopher Olavo de Carvalho and a federal prosecutor, took action, Olavo denouncing, and the prosecutor getting in contact with Google. In that time, Google told the prosecutor that my blog promoted hate and discrimination against homosexual activists. He answered them that he had never seen any of it in my articles. Before this Brazilian official, Google gave way and restored my blog to me.

In 2008, under pressure from homosexual groups, Brazilian federal prosecutors requested Google to shut down my blog for “homophobia.” Google’s official answer was that because Brazil has no anti-“homophobia,” they could not block my blog. Only after such law is passed, Google will be free to comply and definitively shut it down. (I had access to the exchange between Google and federal prosecutors through a Brazilian attorney.)

People vs. Big Government and Big Business

Of course, Google prefers to side with the gay agenda. But even with all is power, money and influence, it knows that most people reject homosexuality. A leftist polling institute in Brazil found five years ago that “99% of Brazilian citizens were ‘homophobic,’ and therefore should be reeducated.”

Conversely, perhaps 99% of the Brazilian socialist government and Google are homosexualist.

So the “homophobia” issue is People versus Big Government and Big Business.

I have successfully resisted, for years, Big Government and its steamroller against Christians who oppose homosexual perversions and dictatorship.

But the homosexualist steamroller from Big Business poses another big threat. In 2011, PayPal closed my account definitively, after an international campaign by AllOut, a U.S. homosexualist organization intent on persecuting Christians. In a communication to AllOut, PayPal explained that they closed my account because “We take very seriously any cases where a user has incited hatred, violence or intolerance because of a person’s sexual orientation”.

Now, I can no longer receive donations from my international friends through PayPal.

In a listing of the top ten anti-Christian acts in 2011, the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission ranked the gay pressure on PayPal as fourth top anti-Christian act, as reported by Charisma magazine.

Covering my case, WorldNetDaily run the headline: “PayPal blacklists Christian writer.”

Google and Free Speech

About the hard times of my blog in Google, I began to use its service in 2005, because Google had chosen freely to offer to the international public a free speech platform. So I do not need to respect Google’s homosexual views and Google does not need to respect my Christian views. But Google needs to respect its own free speech advocacy.

If Google thinks that free speech is a threat to the homosexual agenda, it should ban free speech and be honest to the international community: “Our Blogspot service is available only to the supporters of the gay agenda.”

Google services should be clear: “We do not accept Christian users from Brazil, U.S., Russia, Uganda, etc.”

It is known that many of my articles do not please everybody — especially socialists, pro-abortion and pro-homosexuality activists and other antifamily militants. But freedom for dissenting voices is a part of democracy.

Voting Freedom

My latest Portuguese article, which had supposedly provoked the shutdown of my blog, was about the Brazilian presidential elections that will happen next Sunday. I have supported no candidate, because they promote the gay agenda, viewed by Christians as anti-family.

Even in this inflamed season of Brazilian elections, I have a right to speak out against the two candidates, and this right should not be violated for the benefit of the parties and candidates who were criticized with adequate civility.

Many Brazilians have chosen to vote for Dilma Rousseff (an anti-U.S. socialist, but only in economic, not moral, aspects) or Aécio Neves (a pro-U.S. socialist in everything, both economically and morally), but both are radically pro-gay agenda.

While Brazilians, who are obliged to vote by Brazilian antidemocratic laws, will make their political choices based only on economy, I have made my choice not to vote, based on the intent by both candidates to disfigure, for the benefit of the gay agenda, family, which is, before the State, the first institution established by God. Therefore, family has precedence and absolute priority over the State and economy. It is based on this absolute priority that I reject both Brazilian candidates.

The U.N. Year of Solidarity With the Palestinian Cause

By a United Nations resolution, 2014 is the “Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People,” an occasion that has been used by the U.N. to organize special activities along with governments and non-governmental organizations to promote the Palestinian cause.

The resolution was passed on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People in 2013, a very busy year for the U.N., which adopted a total of 21 resolutions singling out Israel for criticism. In contrast, the rest of the world combined received just 4 of such condemnatory resolutions in 2013. It makes one wonder why Israel has received a very preferential treatment by the U.N.

Strangely, Saudi Arabia, a neighbor of Israel where democracy and respect for basic human rights are unheard-of, has received no U.N. resolution condemning its tyranny and violence against women and minorities, especially Christians.

Both Israel and Saudi Arabia are close U.S. allies, but only one them — Israel — has been under permanent U.N. and U.S. pressure to compromise its sovereignty over Muslim and anti-Semitic demands.

If the issue were just territorial — “Palestinians need a territory and nation” —, the nations forcing Israel to compromise its sovereignty are fully capable of giving Palestinians a territory. The U.S., Brazil and other nations have very large territories and, because they have chosen a stance requiring a minor state — Israel — to relinquish its small land to Palestinian demands, they have the moral obligation to give the example and relinquish a part of their large lands to such Muslim demands.

Israel, which is too small to give lands, is under a cruel pressure by large-land countries in the U.N. Since its creation in 2006, the United Nations Human Rights Council has condemned Israel in 45 resolutions, more than the rest of the world combined.

Islamic terrorism — Palestinian, Saudi, Iranian, Turkish, etc. — has been a permanent threat to the whole world. Yet, the U.N. resolutions do not have addressed it. The small Jewish nation, which is the only democracy in the Middle East, is treated as if it were the greatest terrorist threat in the world. It is the perfect scapegoat for the massive Muslim terror.

In fact, the Palestinian cause has been aptly used to hit hard the scapegoat.

If anti-Semitism were not present in the U.N., Saudi Arabia would receive much more than 21 yearly resolutions condemning its gross systematic human rights abuses. Other Islamic nations neighboring the Jewish country, habitually facilitating Islamic terror against Israel and other nations, would similarly deserve U.N. condemnations. And if you include the whole Islamic universe with many other nations with similar feelings and actions of hatred and terror against Israel and other nations, no one would wonder if the U.N. had countless resolutions against the massive threat posed by the Islamic ideology. The wonder is: no single U.N. peep about this gigantic threat.

The target is the scapegoat. Israel is to blame. The radical Islamic universe is innocent, even when they, and other anti-Semitic groups, use the Palestinian cause to promote their anti-Semitic hatred.

In the Bible you see David and Goliath, and the ancient Israel’s wars for its survival. In God’s perspective, David is innocent and Goliath is the threat.

In the modern Israel’s wars for its survival, the mounting U.N. negative resolutions against Israel leave no doubt that, in the U.N. perspective, David is the threat and the massive Islamic Goliath is innocent.

The U.N. “Solidarity” Year with the Palestinian cause is solidarity with the modern Goliath and a clear sign that David will suffer more negative U.N. resolutions.

Long ago, when there was no Palestinian “cause,” there was massive, international anti-Jewish hatred, and the infamous Catholic Inquisition is just one of its evidences. Six, five and four hundred years ago, Jews were the “oppressors,” and many Jewish families were slaughtered. In Nazi Germany, again the Jews were the “oppressors.”

With the Palestinian cause, what has changed? After the Palestinian cause, what will change?

In Nazi Germany, there was no solidarity with the Jew victims. Just with the Nazi cause.

Solidarity with the Palestinian cause has moved Western nations, even Christian churches, to opposition to the modern David. For many Western churches, now Israel is an “oppressor.”

By the many U.N. resolutions against Israel, there is a “solidarity” of Islamic and leftist nations against Israel. And definitely there is a U.N. solidarity with these nations.

Only the God of Israel can deliver Israel from the army of Goliaths (from the U.N., the U.S., Brazil and many other nations) that have raised up in these last days.

Israel has always been hated in the spiritual world because it brought Jesus, His Gospel and His Word to the world. Even though the Jews are unable to recognize it, this is the main cause for the incredible hatred against them and the world’s “natural” solidarity with their enemies.

With or without the Inquisition, Israel will be always the “oppressor.” With or without Nazi Germany, Israel will be always the “oppressor.” With or without the Palestinian cause, Israel will be always the “oppressor.”

In this context, the U.N. solidarity with the Palestinian cause is just “natural.”

Now, who can show solidarity to the historically oppressed Jews and their Promised Land?

Only the true, invisible and prophetic Church of Jesus Christ can do it and, by doing it prayerfully, many Jews may be led to know the Messiah and His salvation.

The Alabama Supreme Court ruled last week that a law that protects people from chemical endangerment is also applicable to unborn babies. The state court decision showed that unborn babies are endowed with personhood and they deserve respect.

Such a decision, which is having repercussions in America and provoking the wrath from the Left, collides with the US Supreme Court, which legalized abortion in the infamous Roe vs. Wade in 1973.

The Alabama case, which is casting doubts on the legitimacy on the federal protection of abortion, involved a woman that smoked meth three days before her baby was born, who lived for only a few minutes. The autopsy showed that the baby died from methamphetamine exposure.

In her defense, her lawyers argued that if it is not a crime to abort a baby, it is not crime to expose him to dangerous drugs.

According to the abortion law that is in force for forty years, if the drug-user mother availed herself of the murderous services of an abortion clinic, she would face no legal problems, because in America abortion is allowed in every month of pregnancy, even on the day of childbirth.

The abortion federal law treats unborn babies as mere disposable items.

The major decision of the Alabama court against the woman that killed her son outside abortion hospitals and clinics may give a light of hope in a nation that for years championed world Protestantism, but today boasts of championing the “abortion gospel” in the UN and throughout world.

After legalization on January 22, 1973, 55 million American babies were murdered, for all conceivable reasons and even without a reason. It is by far the largest act of genocide committed in American soil.

More than three thousand children are murdered a day, and the pro-abortion president does not offer a single sigh of condolence for the victims of an American government more and more obsessed with playing the role of a world ambassador of the culture of death.

America is today a society accustomed to the genocide of the innocent. The massive salvage slaughter of unborn babies is equated with nothing more than the extraction of a decayed tooth.

This year, pro-abortion groups will celebrate 40 years of legal abortion in America. It is the most macabre birthday in all the American history.

The attitude of the Alabama court of restoring the dignity of personhood to unborn babies dying of drug exposure may be a first important step in confronting the Supreme Court with its shameful genocidal law.

The only way of stopping that insanity is for the US Supreme Court to see what the Alabama court saw: If it is a crime to expose any citizen, inside or outside the uterus, to dangerous drugs, it should be a crime to kill not only people outside the uterus, but also inside it.

If such understanding spreads and prevails, the insane American law should be revoked, the shedding of innocent blood should stop and Americans should repent and mourn the fact that for decades they have allowed, approved and consented the genocide of the innocent.

The Alabama Supreme Court has taken an important step against the federal abortion giant.

Let us pray that God may transform that small step in a mortal blow in the giant.

Let us pray for the Alabama Supreme Court, especially Justice Tom Parker, and its fight of pro-life David against the pro-abortion Goliath, the US Supreme Court.
