Brazilian minister who said he prayed that LGBT actor may be taken by his owner became a target of a homophobia lawsuit

A minister in the Assemblies of God in Brazil who said that he was praying for a gay actor, hospitalized for a month because of Covid-19, to be taken by his owner became a target of dozens of gay groups seeking to sue him for “homophobia.” The groups claim that the minister wants to kill the gay through prayers.

In a Facebook post, which later was deleted, Rev. José Olímpio, in the Assemblies of God of Alagoas, Brazil, said:

“This is actor Paulo Gustavo whom some are asking prayers for. And will you pray? I pray for his owner to take him close to himself.”

In repudiation of this prayer, several Brazilian homosexual groups issued a note saying:

“It is urgent for crimes as these, motivated by homophobia, to be added to the examples of LGBTphobia, in the law fighting racism n. 7.716/2018, and that more rigorous and severe punishments may be taken against homophobic behavior and discriminatory acts as this.”

The text was written by Toni Reis, who in the past requested the Brazilian Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office to incriminate me for “homophobia,” because my articles take a strong Christian and biblical stance against his favorite sin. He stopped persecuting me only after I left Brazil with my family.

Actor Paulo Gustavo has a history of making jokes against Jesus Christ. But that does not justify an outrage that wants his death, nor does it justify homosexual groups turning a blind eye to his prejudiced jokes.

In his note, Reis added that this prayer is a “criminal act of violence, practiced by this religious leader.”

He treated the prayer as a real attempt of violence and murder. It was a so great exaggeration that surpassed the exaggeration of prayer itself.

This is not a standard prayer of truly converted Christians. A true Christian prays for conversion of sinners, whether murderers, adulterers, thieves, pedophiles, homosexuals, etc.

Worthy of attention is that Toni kings and homosexual groups connected to him treated minister’s prayer as a “crime.”

Even being outside Christian standards, the Pentecostal minister’s prayer offers a useful view of the spiritual world of ministers and homosexuals.

Seeing from the minister’s perspective, how can he enter into the presence of Jesus for prayer and say, “Jesus, I put before you that gay and I want you to make his owner take him.”

From the point of view of the Bible, the owner of homosexuals is the devil.

If such prayers were heard, there would be no homosexuals in the world.

However, there are only two questions. Christians do not make these prayers and God does not hear this kind of prayer.

Seeing from perspective of homosexuals, why are they worried about a prayer that asks for them to be taken by their owner? They should not worry, unless they know who the owner is actually — that he is a malignant and diabolical creature.

If a LGBT activist tells me he will pray that my owner will take me, I will not mind. I know my owner — Jesus Christ. He is not subject to anyone’s prayers. I’m not afraid of my owner, who is not a killer and does not hear prayers of those who want the death of others.

But apparently, homosexuals are afraid of their owner. It is no secret that many homosexuals have a special preference for witchcraft, where prayers and ritual sacrifices are made against people. These prayers and sacrifices include even requests for demons to kill people. Perhaps the gay groups suing the minister think he wants to do them the same thing as they, through witchcraft, do to others.

If a gay activist performs a prayer or ritual sacrifice of witchcraft against me, I trust in Jesus, who is more powerful than Satan and his witches. In the name of Jesus, I break the power of witchcraft.

So because many Brazilian homosexuals prefer witchcraft, they do not unaware of prayers against people.

I am sure that the minister who made prayer out of Christian standards was rebuked by other ministers. But if his prayer, which is not common in Christian churches, deserves legal punishment for “homophobia,” what about witchcraft places attended by homosexuals who routinely make prayers and ritual sacrifices against people and their lives? Should Police close these places and leave homosexuals without their favorite religion?

More clearly, if the imprudent prayer of the AG minister is a crime, what are the prayers and sacrifices of the favorite religion of Brazilian gays? Fatally, the attempt for homosexualist activist Toni Reis to criminalize an imprudent prayer criminalizes witches, their prayers and ritual sacrifices against people.

“Homophobia” was officially criminalized in Brazil in 2019 by the Federal Supreme Court. In the classification of “homophobia,” acts and opinions against homosexuals have been criminalized.

If the minister wants to continue praying for the owner of homosexual sin to take his slaves he will have to change religion. By coincidence, the favorite religion of homosexuals prays against people’s lives.

If homosexuals who practice witchcraft believe that the devil is a kind creature, they should not worry about any prayer asking for their owner to take them. Although I do not agree at all with these prayers, homosexuals need to tell if they are or not afraid of their spiritual owner.

If all the ministers prayed for sinners to be taken by their demonic owners, evangelization would become useless, for lack of sinners to hear the Gospel.

I do not pray for the death of sinners. I pray for their salvation. But no one can guarantee that homosexuals, who prefer witchcraft, have those same feelings. No one can guarantee that in their witchcraft meetings prayers are not made against Christians.

Yet, I’m not afraid. I am not afraid of my owner, because I know whom I serve. And I’m not afraid of the owner of homosexuals, because I know whom they serve.

Ana Paula Valadão, a Brazilian charismatic Baptist singer who became famous with her band Diante do Trono (Before the Throne), became the target of left-wing journalists and gay activists for not submitting to the politically correct views that demand exclusively positive presentations of homosexuality. In the show “Diante do Trono” broadcast by “Super TV Network,” a station that belongs to the Baptist Church of Lagoinha, she said:

“A lot of people think that it [homosexuality] is normal. This is not normal. God created man and woman and we believe this way. Any other sexual option is a free choice of the human being. And any choice leads to consequences. The Bible calls any choice contrary to what God has determined to be ideal, as he created us to be, he calls sin. And sin has a consequence, which is death, including everything that is distorted has consequences naturally. Nor is God bringing a plague or judgment. AIDS is here to show that the sexual union between two men causes a disease that leads to death and contaminates women. Anyway, it’s not God’s ideal. Do you know what is safe sex, which does not transmit any disease? Safe sex is called a wedding ring.”

In defense of gay activism, Brazilian magazine Istoé said:

After the repercussion of the case, the National LGBTI+ Alliance announced that it will file a lawsuit against Ana Paula Valadão for the crime of LGBTphobia.

In a public press release signed by its director Toni Reis, the National LGBTI+ Alliance said:

Ana Paula’s speech borders on the absurd, extrapolating freedom of religion and free speech, becoming a hateful, fanatical and largely unreasonable speech, with potentially disastrous consequences, especially for her followers.

At no time can we allow religiosity to be used as a safe conduit for the spread of hatred and misinformation.

The speech in question resembles the same standards adopted by Adolf Hitler, to dehumanize sectors of society, just as he did when he dehumanized Jews, LGBTIs, gypsies, Jehovah’s Witnesses, communists, the elderly, people with disabilities, resulting in a total 6 million lives murdered.

To accuse of “hatred” an evangelical who expressed herself with love is pure savagery, which was expressed in a crazy and inconsistent tone. The six million lives murdered by the Nazis were Jewish. And it is known that the small number of homosexuals that Hitler killed was not because he opposed homosexuality, because Hitler and the Nazi elite were homosexuals. The book “The Hidden Hitler,” published in 2001 by Basic Books in New York, and written by German professor Lothar Machtan, reveals Hitler’s homosexual nature.

There is also the book “The Pink Swastika,” by Dr. Scott Lively, which shows that Nazism only persecuted a “female” homosexual minority that did not fit the kind of “male” homosexuality that Nazism followed. Nazism protected and extoled “male” homosexuality while it harassed “female” homosexuality.

Hitler’s case shows that homosexuals are violent even with other homosexuals.

If Toni Reis had criminally offended an Islamic leader by comparing him to Hitler, the backlash could have been violent or accepted, as Hitler is admired among many Muslims. But comparing an evangelical singer with Hitler is a crime, especially because while Hitler killed Jews, evangelicals defend Jews and Israel; while Hitler promoted “male” homosexuality, Christians do not promote any homosexuality; and while Hitler promoted occult rightism with no basis in the Bible, Christians promote conservatism and capitalism based on the Bible.

“The female minister, when associating HIV with the LGBTI community, makes the same mistake of those who wanted to link the coronavirus pandemic to China. It is a crime, we will sue her for LGBTPHOBIA, according to the decision of the Brazilian Supreme Court,” said the lawyer and coordinator of the National LGBTI+ Alliance.

The Brazilian Supreme Court’s decision essentially criminalizes acts and views contrary to homosexuality. It is a decision that benefits homosexual activism and criminalizes Christianity itself. The Supreme Court reached its insane decision based on a request from a gay organization led by Toni Reis that years ago asked federal prosecutors to intervene against me for “homophobia.”

The National LGBTI + Alliance said it is “a crime” to say that there is an association between HIV and homosexuals. But it is not what reality shows.

When AIDS emerged in the 1980s, the homosexual population was the main victim. At that time, AIDS reached the non-homosexual population through homosexuals who donated blood and through homosexuals who also had relationships with women. AIDS was known as a “gay disease,” because it mainly affected homosexuals.

Experts then warned that in the future AIDS would mainly affect the non-homosexual population. We are in the future today, almost 40 years after the 1980s. And what does reality show?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the most important group in the U.S. government on health issues, said in 2020:

“Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men are the population most affected by HIV in the United States. In 2017, adult and adolescent gay and bisexual men made up 70%.”

Therefore, if in the 1980s AIDS was undoubtedly a predominantly gay disease, today nothing has changed: It continues to be predominantly gay.

In fact, since it is a predominantly gay disease, gay groups have been receiving billions of dollars since the 1980s to supposedly “fight” AIDS. But these billions have in no way reduced the gay predominance of AIDS.

The homosexual movement continues today in the same denial that it embraced in the past: Refusing to take responsibility for the consequences of homosexual behavior.

There is a precipice with AIDS and death. In her love for homosexuals, Ana Paula Valadão warns them not to go ahead to the precipice. Gay activists give fraudulent information in the opposite direction, saying that gays can go ahead to the precipice.

Who should be prosecuted for crime is the gay group, not the charismatic Baptist singer. It is nonsense to prosecute an evangelical who is helping homosexuals, but not to prosecute gay activists who are using homosexuals and putting their lives at risk with false information.

And a lawsuit against Toni Reis and his groups of hatred of evangelicals has become even more necessary when he criminally compared the evangelical singer to Hitler.

Toni’s language against Ana Paula Valadão was so savage and violent that the mainstream media did not dare to mention that he compared her to Hitler, when Hitler’s esoteric fascist nature was homosexual.

There is nothing homosexual about the evangelical singer, but there is a lot of homosexuality, with its hatred and extremism, in Toni Reis and Adolf Hitler.

U.S. evangelical preacher Franklin Graham writes open letter after organizers canceled his event in the United Kingdom over “incompatible views” on gay “marriage”

A famous American evangelical preacher has written an open letter after organizers decided to cancel his event in the United Kingdom following pressure and complaints from LGBT activists.

Franklin Graham was due to visit Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield, Liverpool, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and London later in 2020.

But the ACC Liverpool conference center has decided to cancel the 67-year-old’s show after branding his views “incompatible” with their values, adding, “We can longer reconcile the balance between freedom of speech and the divisive impact this event is having in our city.”

The decision to cancel the show came after a petition was started by the Liverpool Labour LGBT Network.

Graham was labeled a “homophobic hate preacher” by the Liverpool Labour LGBT Network, which wrote in a letter that they fear “Graham’s appearance may incite hateful mobilization and risk the security of our LGBTQ+ community.”

Graham, who is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and the son of the late international evangelist Billy Graham, has previously described gay “marriage” as a sin and has defended children against homosexual indoctrination in the schools.

LGBT activists in several British cities he was due to visit also pressured government officials and political leaders to stop him from speaking.

Sheffield Mayor Dan Jarvis has criticized the American preacher, and said in a statement: “Sheffield is a city of sanctuary [for homosexuals and Muslims]. We welcome people from all backgrounds, irrespective of race, religion, belief or their sexuality. As a city and as a region, we are proud to stand for equality, diversity, respect and compassion. I believe in free speech and of the right to freedom of expression, within the parameters of the law. But I also believe in people’s rights to disagree with extreme beliefs such as those preached by Franklin Graham. Intolerance cannot be welcomed here in South Yorkshire.”

Representative Heather Paterson said: “Franklin Graham has repeatedly publicly promoted his homophobic beliefs, including but not limited to branding homosexuality a sin. We believe that these statements far exceed freedom of speech and are direct hate speech and incitement to violence against LGBTQ+ communities and individuals, which should not be welcomed in our city or anywhere else.”

Kelvin Holdsworth, Provost of Glasgow Cathedral, said on Twitter: “Have just heard that Franklin Graham is coming to the SSE Hydro in Glasgow next year. Very surprised to hear that @SSE would want to be associated with him. #homophobia.”

Peter Nimmo, minister of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland in Inverness, fumed: “Franklin Graham tour includes Glasgow. I trust Scottish churches give him the cold shoulder, too.”

Graham is facing protests in the United Kingdom because of his stance against gay “marriage” and because he has said that homosexual behavior is sin. When laws support homosexual behavior, people who do not support it are persecuted.

In a report titled “Hateful Homophobe Franklin Graham Canceled by U.K. City,” The Advocate, the largest gay magazine in the U.S. and in the world, explained Graham’s “homophobia”:

Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, founded by his late father, has a long history of anti-LGBTQ statements. In one of the most recent, he tweeted that Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg, who is both gay and Christian, should repent of the “sin” of homosexuality. In 2018, in response to the circulation of an old quote from former President Jimmy Carter saying Jesus Christ would have no problem with same-sex marriage, he said Carter was “absolutely wrong” and that God had destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because they embraced homosexuality. (That Bible passage is open to other interpretations.)

In 2016, he defended House Bill 2, legislation passed by his home state of North Carolina to prevent transgender people from using restrooms and changing rooms that match their gender identity. It “protects the safety and privacy of women and children and preserves the human rights of millions of faith-based citizens of this state,” Graham said at the time, implying that transgender people are a threat. That remark got him banned from Facebook for a brief time two years later.

He has also praised Russia’s ban on so-called gay propaganda, which prohibits any positive mention of LGBTQ identity that could be heard or viewed by minors. “I very much appreciate that President Putin is protecting Russian young people against homosexual propaganda,” Graham told a Russian newspaper in 2015. “If only to give them the opportunity to grow up and make a decision for themselves. Again, homosexuals cannot have children, they can take other people’s children.”

In addition to LGBTQ people, targets of Graham’s ire have included Planned Parenthood [the largest abortion network in the U.S.], which he has described as “Hitleristic,” and Islam, which he has called “evil.”

Graham is a major defender, however, of Donald Trump.

Yet, it is not only Graham who defends Trump. When I and several U.S. evangelical leaders criticized in 2019 Trump’s effort to legalize homosexuality around the world, what did The Advocate did? It criticized me and these other evangelical leaders and, incredibly, defended Trump against us evangelicals.

Franklin Graham has been silent about Trump’s homosexualist effort. Even though the U.S. president is very fond of Graham and has even invited him for his personal meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump has been also silent about the LGBTQ campaign against Graham in the United Kingdom.

Even being a spiritual adviser to Trump, Graham is not getting any presidential help. Trump, who uses to intervene in many international issues involving Americans, has said nothing about the homosexualist persecution against Graham, who is always voicing public support for Trump.

Graham has been a passionate defender of Trump. He has defended him in everything. For example, when Christianity Today, the largest liberal evangelical magazine in the U.S., criticized Trump on December 2019 saying that he deserved to be impeached and suggesting that evangelicals should not support him, Graham made a very strong defense of Trump against Christianity Today.

Why Trump’s silence now? To defend Christians or even to defend an American citizen who is a victim of homosexual bullying is less important than defending an effort of the U.S. government to legalize homosexuality around the world? The Trump administration has not been silent about criticizing Christian nations that reject homosexuality, but it has been silent about Saudi Arabia, a U.S. ally, executing homosexuals.

With no support from Trump, Graham addressed LGBTQ activists in the United Kingdom. In his “A letter to the LGBTQ community in the UK,” Graham explained that he has no hatred of homosexuals. He said:

It is said by some that I am coming to the UK to bring hateful speech to your community. This is just not true. I am coming to share the Gospel, which is the Good News that God loves the people of the UK, and that Jesus Christ came to this earth to save us from our sins.

The rub, I think, comes in whether God defines homosexuality as sin. The answer is yes. But God goes even further than that, to say that we are all sinners—myself included. The Bible says that every human being is guilty of sin and in need of forgiveness and cleansing. The penalty of sin is spiritual death—separation from God for eternity.

That’s why Jesus Christ came. He became sin for us. He didn’t come to condemn the world, He came to save the world by giving His life on the Cross as a sacrifice for our sins. And if we’re willing to accept Him by faith and turn away from our sins, He will forgive us and give us new life—eternal life—in Him.

My message to all people is that they can be forgiven and they can have a right relationship with God. That’s Good News. That is the hope people on every continent around the world are searching for. In the UK as well as in the United States, we have religious freedom and freedom of speech. I’m not coming to the UK to speak against anybody, I’m coming to speak for everybody. The Gospel is inclusive. I'm not coming out of hate, I’m coming out of love.

I invite everyone in the LGBTQ community to come and hear for yourselves the Gospel messages that I will be bringing from God’s Word, the Bible. You are absolutely welcome.

Another challenge Graham faces in the United Kingdom is Islam. This once Protestant nation is now fast succumbing to Islam, and Graham reportedly described Islam an “evil and very wicked religion.”

Christians are living in hard times. If Franklin Graham, who is one of the most powerful evangelical leaders in the United States, can suffer harassment and bullying for preaching the Gospel in a nation with a strong Christian history, what will happen to many other Christians who voice the Bible message on homosexuality?

These are easy times for coward and silent Christians. But the time will come when even cowards will be targeted by the same fanatics who persecute courageous Christians today, because fanatics will sooner or later require not only silence, but also total conversion to their fanaticism, whether homosexual or Islamic.

Brazil’s supreme court officially forged “homophobia” and “transphobia” as crimes similar to racism on June 13, 2019. Eight of 11 justices voted to treat “homophobia” in the same way as racism under Brazilian law, making it a criminal act as racism.

The big homosexualist advance in Brazil made headlines in major U.S. and international newspapers, including:

Reuters: “Brazil Supreme Court rules homophobia a crime.”

Associated Press: “Brazil’s supreme court votes to make homophobia a crime.”

The Wall Street Journal: “Brazil’s Supreme Court Criminalizes Homophobic Acts.”

USAToday: “Brazil's Supreme Court criminalizes homophobia and transphobia.”

The Daily Beast: “Brazil’s Supreme Court Votes to Criminalize Homophobia.”

Racism was made a crime in Brazil in 1989 with prison sentences of up to five years. The Supreme Court’s judges ruled that “homophobia” should be framed within the racism law.

“Homophobic crimes are as alarming as physical violence,” Supreme Court Vice-President Luiz Fux said on his vote, citing “epidemic levels of homophobic violence.”

This definition of violence encompasses not only acts but also views. “Every preconception is violence,” said justice Carmen Lucia. So a Christian advocating the Bible teaching that homosexual acts are sin would be seen as an individual with a “religious preconception.”

The Oxford Dictionary defines “preconception” as “an idea or opinion formed prior to having evidence for its truth or usefulness.” In this case, the provider of the evidence of “truth” is the State and any view, biblical or otherwise, not conforming the state view is “preconception.”

In the Brazilian law of racism, any view or a single word calling a black individual of “Negro” is liable of legal punishment. So if the anti-“homophobia” law is now framed within the racism law, it follows that an individual expressing any negative word about homosexuals will be liable to legal punishment.

The action judged by Brazil’s Supreme Court to make “homophobia” a crime was originally brought by the Socialist Popular Party and the Brazilian Association of Gays, Lesbians and Transgenders (known as ABGLT).

The Socialist Popular Party is behind of the criminalization of “homophobia” in Brazil because it is just natural for socialists to seek to criminalize the main threat to socialism: Bible-believing Christians.

ABGLT is also behind of the criminalization of “homophobia” in Brazil because it has for many years persecuted Bible-believing Christians who have never harmed any homosexuals, but have defended what the Bible says: that homosexual acts are abomination in God’s sight and that homosexual will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

In 2011 ABGLT filed a complaint to federal prosecutors against Brazilian Pentecostal televangelist Silas Malafaia, the most prominent evangelical leader in Brazil, for “inciting violence against LGBT people.” ABGLT’s interpretation of “inciting violence against LGBT people” is to preach against the homosexual sin and oppose homosexual indoctrination of schoolchildren.

In 2007 ABGLT filed a complaint to federal prosecutors against me, Julio Severo, for “for maintaining a website that incites violence against the LGBT community.”

My blog seeks to inform, in a Christian perspective, the public about homosexual subjects censored by the mainstream media. For example, while Brazil’s Supreme Court was busy criminalizing “homophobia” the mainstream media in Brazil was keeping a blackout on the horrific case of Two Brazilian lesbians who stabbed a boy one year after cutting off his sex organ to make him a “girl.”

The Brazilian media is silent. ABGLT and other homosexualist groups are silent. What I am supposed to do? To be silent to be an accomplice of their evil silence? Yet, when I expose this and other horrific cases of homosexual violence against children I am accused of “inciting violence against LGBT people.”

The federal prosecution against me only did not advance because I left Brazil in 2009 just when prosecutors were summoning for their hearings the man responsible for the domain of my website to give them my location to advance their action.

So the “homophobia” law in Brazil is based on socialism and on a gay group that has a history of persecuting evangelical leaders, including me. Such law will certainly target Christians like me, because it is a law produced to serve ideological groups at their own requests. More convenient than this, impossible.

BBC said, “For almost 20 years there have been efforts to make homophobia a crime in Brazil, but legislation on the matter has faced resistance among conservative and religious groups in Congress.” My book “O Movimento Homossexual” (The Homosexual Movement), published in 1998 by the Brazilian branch of Bethany House Publishers, was used by evangelical congressmen on the floor of the Brazilian Congress. “The Homosexual Movement” was the first book published against the homosexual movement in Brazil and prepared prophetically the Christian Church in Brazil for the coming homosexualist assault on the Christian free speech.

Incredibly, the Supreme Court’s judges said their ruling was necessary because homosexuals are legally unprotected.

Homosexual “marriage” was legalized in Brazil in 2013. Even with such privilege, homosexualists and their propaganda machine in the Brazilian mainstream media keep preaching that homosexuals are victims of violence in Brazil and need special protection and more and more privileges.

When reporting on Brazil’s supreme court criminalizing “homophobia,” the Associated Press (AP) said that Brazil “is still a dangerous country for members of the LGBT community and has a large evangelical movement often critical of gay rights.”

So AP suggested that there is a link between “danger for homosexuals” and “evangelical criticism of the homosexual agenda.”

Just as the origin of the criminalization of “homophobia” was socialist and homosexualist, the origin in Brazil of the main resistance to socialism and the homosexual agenda is evangelicalism. EuroNews said, “Support from conservative Pentecostal churches helped Bolsonaro to win the election,” regarding Jair Bolsonaro, who was elected especially by evangelicals to defeat a socialist candidate.

Reuters said, “Evangelicals and other socially conservative Brazilians helped Bolsonaro win last year’s election as he promised to overturn years of liberal social policies, including more rights for same-sex couples. Bolsonaro [is] a Catholic who was baptized by an evangelical pastor on a trip to Israel three years ago.”

Even though is internationally recognized that Bolsonaro had his victory thanks to conservative evangelicals, he has nominated for his administration especially individuals from a fringe esoteric right-wing group that is misleading many Catholics, some evangelicals and particularly Bolsonaro himself.

On June 14, 2019, Bolsonaro told reporters the Supreme Court was “completely wrong” in criminalizing “homophobia” and had overstepped its powers, moving into legislative territory. He added that such criminalization would hurt homosexuals because an employer would “think twice” before hiring a gay person for fear of being accused of “homophobia.”

According to EuroNews, “Congress has a conservative majority under the influence of the Evangelical Church.” In fact, most of the Brazilian conservative congressmen are evangelicals, who traditionally are in Brazilian politics in the forefront of the pro-family resistance against abortion and the homosexual agenda.

Euronews is right. Many times, I worked in the backstage with Brazilian congressmen to stop homosexualist bills. Since 2003, for example, I was an informal adviser to the president of the Evangelical Parliamentary Caucus.

Eventually, the “homophobia” law will treat as “crime” any critical view of homosexual acts and propaganda, because if it is a racial crime to criticize others because of their skin color, why would not be a “homophobic” crime to criticize homosexual behaviors?

Several U.S. and international newspapers used as their only reference source the Grupo Gay of Bahia (Gay Group of Bahia, a Brazilian homosexualist group) to explain that the “homophobia” law is necessary to protect homosexuals from violence.

The Associated Press report said,

“According to the rights group the Grupo Gay da Bahia, 420 LGBT people were killed across Brazil in 2018, while at least 141 have been killed so far this year.”

BBC, the Daily Beast, USAToday and EuroNews also mentioned the Grupo Gay da Bahia and its statistics.

For them, less than 500 deaths a year is enough reason to criminalize “homophobia.”

Now, because the Associated Press, BBC, the Daily Beast, USAToday and EuroNews did their reports without doing their homework, let us show the facts on violence in Brazil. Over 60,000 Brazilians are murdered a year in Brazil. Homosexuals are less than 1 percent of the massive count of violence. How then should they get more privileges if the general population in Brazil suffers an explosive rate of murders?

Of course, the Associated Press, BBC, the Daily Beast, USAToday and EuroNews reports had no concern about the epidemic of homosexual violence against children. The case of the 9-year-old boy castrated, tortured and beheaded by two lesbians is ignored by the mainstream media. Are reporters afraid of being accused of “homophobia” if they mention homosexual violence against children?

The main cause of murders of homosexuals in Brazil is the irrational passion of a lover of the victim. Murdered homosexuals are mostly transvestites, according to Oswaldo Braga, president of the Gay Movement of Minas, who declared, “They are homosexuals that are more involved in criminality, as prostitution and drug trafficking, being more exposed to violence.” (Tribuna de Minas, 09/03/2007, page 3.)

Luiz Mott, the founder of the Grupo Gay da Bahia (Gay Group of Bahia) mentioned by the Associated Press, BBC, the Daily Beast, USAToday and EuroNews, does not complain of drug traffickers killing homosexuals. In 2008, as reported by LifeSiteNews, he posted on the Internet the home addresses of Christian pro-family leaders in Brazil. He included my name too. Why didn’t he post the home addresses of drug traffickers? If he had done it, he would be dead by now.

If I had posted on the Internet his home address, he would accuse me of threatening him and I would be jailed. Why isn’t he jailed?

When the Brazilian Association of Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transvestites and Transsexuals had lodged a criminal complaint to federal prosecutors against me for “homophobia” in 2007, Mott rejoiced then at the news. “We are all proud of the ABGLT for filing charges against our archenemy, Julio Severo,” he was quoted as saying in a Yahoo homosexual email list. “I hope that he is condemned to perpetual imprisonment in Sodom and Gomorrah.”

If I had rejoiced at Mott’s misfortune and said “I hope that he is condemned to perpetual imprisonment in Sodom and Gomorrah,” every Brazilian and international gay group would denounce me for “homophobia.”

So, the main source about violence against homosexuals for the Associated Press, BBC, the Daily Beast, USAToday and EuroNews reports is a homosexual group founded by a homosexualist who does not target drug traffickers who actually kill homosexuals. He targets Christians just like me. Christians who have never killed or even harmed homosexuals. Christians whose only “crime” is to believe and preach God’s Word, where God says that the homosexual sin is an abomination.

How can I doubt that Brazil’s Supreme Court is not criminalizing Christians?
