The Big Card Move or the Big Demonic Confusion: Small one-man publisher publishes book “Machiavelli or the Demonic Confusion” by Olavo de Carvalho in the U.S.

By Julio Severo

At last, Olavo de Carvalho, after a life of self-exile as a Brazilian immigrant in the U.S. since 2005, managed to launch a book in English in the U.S.

Although ostentatiously the book brings a compliment from President Jair Bolsonaro (“His work greatly contributed to my arrival in government… I will always remember that and continue to admire Olavo”) on the cover itself, in an effort to promote Carvalho at the expense of the Brazilian president, the book was not published by one of the major American publishers. It was not even published by an average American publisher.

It was published by the effort of one man, Daniel Ashman, who since July 2020 was looking for ways to translate one of Carvalho’s books from Portuguese to English. Ashman’s personal publishing house, Ashman Free Press, presents the book “Machiavelli or the Demonic Confusion” saying that Carvalho is the “#1 Brazilian Bestselling Author,” having sold more than 1 million books.

Ashman seems unaware that only one of the books by the Brazilian author Paulo Coelho, “The Alchemist,” sold more than 65 million copies in 2014 alone. One million is only 2 percent of 65 million.

In total, Coelho sold more than 350 million copies of his books. One million is just less than half a percent of 350 million!

Although both Carvalho and Coelho have an occult history of syncretic Catholicism, they do not have the same level of fame. One is vastly famous, even in the U.S. The other, even being propagandized by the Brazilian president, did not even reach 1 percent of Coelho’s fame.

If, in Ashman’s view, Carvalho is the “#1 Brazilian Bestselling Author,” which number should Paulo Coelho receive? If he finds it difficult to answer, just ask Carvalho, who understands numerology and astrology charts.

It was also not honest for Ashman to point out in the book that Bolsonaro’s arrival in the Brazilian government was because mainly of Carvalho. Silas Malafaia, the biggest televangelist in Brazil, has already responded to such dishonesty by saying that Bolsonaro himself told him several times that if 80 percent of Brazilian evangelicals supported him, he would be elected. Malafaia helped and most evangelicals voted for Bolsonaro, resulting in his victory.

Ashman should, honestly, have mentioned in the book cover the phrase where Carvalho called the Bolsonaro administration a “shit *” in 2020 and threatened overthrow it. Carvalho’s attack on the Bolsonaro administration was also answered by Malafaia.

Ashman’s lack of knowledge, or a deliberate card move, gave Carvalho a position he doesn’t have. The most appropriate title for the book “Machiavelli or the Demonic Confusion” is “Daniel Ashman’s Great Political Poker Card Move and Olavo de Carvalho’s Political Astrology Move in the American Public.”

Usually, Carvalho complains about American authors who expose their ideas without knowing Portuguese, where his works are concentrated, but what did Ashman do? The same thing.

Carvalho also demands from the Americans who exposed his occultism a philosophical giantism that even he does not have. Ashman, who published Carvalho in the U.S., is no philosopher and has no published philosophy books. The only “big” book by Ashman that I found on Amazon was about playing cards, and it’s no best seller. The book’s title is “Dominate No-Limit Hold’em: A Guide To The Math And Pyschology Of Poker (D&B Poker).”

What does Ashman, as a poker player, then want with such a grand presentation of Carvalho’s book in the U.S.? To play a big card move on American readers?

Ashman has a poker player background, while Carvalho’s official background is as a professional astrologer. But both think of themselves as big political analysts.

Ashman probably tried to play a card move in a large or average American publisher, but since none fell for the scam, he had to create his own small personal publishing house to launch Carvalho in the U.S.

Instead of complaining about Ashman for his inaccuracies, Carvalho presented his American book as if it had been published by the largest American philosophical publisher or editor.

I do not need to read the book published by Ashman to know that Carvalho is endowed with a revolutionary and dictatorial spirit. I say this because of the very persecution I suffer from occultist Olavo de Carvalho, a Brazilian self-exiled immigrant in the United States who has used the U.S. freedoms to persecute a Brazilian without such freedoms and money. Carvalho is considered the guru (esoteric adviser) of President Jair Bolsonaro. With such massive influence now, Carvalho thinks it is time to take revenge on me for exposing his history and occult connections, in addition to the scandal that he is the greatest Brazilian advocate of the Inquisition.

In his spite of hatred and revenge, in a video of June 11, 2020 Olavo de Carvalho asked the administration of President Jair Bolsonaro to investigate me for the “crime” of exposing his occultism and his advocacy of the Inquisition. In a 2019 video, he also asked the Brazilian Federal Police to investigate me.

In a video published on June 21, 2020, Carvalho asked for new actions against me.

So for three times, in public videos, Carvalho has incited persecution against me.

If there is some U.S. attorney who can help me against such persecution, please contact me.

Although Carvalho says he is much persecuted, the vast majority of reports and articles about him in English accurately present him as a man with an occult history. One of the greatest books against the occult, “War For Eternity: Inside Bannon's Far-Right Circle of Global Power Brokers,” by Benjamin R. Teitelbaum, presents the main names of Guénon’s Traditionalist School, including Steve Bannon, Julius Evola, Alexander Dugin and Carvalho, who was only mentioned, albeit rarely, because of the much propaganda Bolsonaro does for him.

Teitelbaum is an American Jewish writer and his book deals with occultism on the right in the U.S., Russia and Brazil.

Carvalho has not threatened Teitelbaum and other Americans who exposed their occult connections, but he has, in several videos, threatened me, asking the Bolsonaro government and the Federal Police to investigate me. His claim is that my exposés against him involving the Inquisition and esotericism are a threat to Brazil’s national security.

The difference between him and me is big. He says he is persecuted when the U.S. press exposes his occult connections, while for years I have been attacked by the leftist press in the United States solely because of my conservative evangelical stances against abortion and homosexual sin.

While Carvalho is “persecuted” for his occult connections, I am persecuted by the left and by Carvalho himself for my Christian connections. All criticism of the U.S. press against Carvalho is not because of Christianity, but because of occultism and extremist rightism. All criticism of the U.S. press against me is because of Christianity.

Now, a Brazilian astrologer has the aid of a U.S. poker player to promote his tricks in America.

Only a poker player could introduce Carvalho to the American public as if he were the “#1 Brazilian Bestselling Author,” above Brazilian author Paulo Coelho, who has more than 350 million books sold.

Will American readers fall for Ashman’s card move?

Trump’s Reelection: Evangelical Prophecies Failed

Trump’s Reelection: Evangelical Prophecies Failed

By Julio Severo

Political campaigns can lead people, even Christians, to a level of passion and activism parallel only to evangelism, which should be passionate because of its important mission of leading people to Jesus and His salvation.

Christians can be carried away by such campaigns from the left or right.

Even though it is a horror a Christian embracing any kind of socialism, it was horrifying to see prophets in 2020 prophesying something that God never told them and never sent them to tell. They were carried away by political delusions, and predictably their prophecies never were fulfilled.

Carried away by herd political delusion, major prophets said that Donald Trump would be reelected. No problem for God to fulfill what He promises.

The problem is: even though in His mercy God allowed Trump to get a first term, in His sovereignty He did not allow him to have a second term. And the reasons are not obscure.

Trump and his administration were championing the same homosexual agenda that was always condemned by evangelical leaders when it was promoted by left-wing administrations, including Barrack Hussein Obama.

Yet, these leaders remained silent about Trump’s pro-sodomy stances. They were vocal to prophesize what God did not say (Trump’s reelection) and had no voice to say what God said:

“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22 ESV)

They should be vocal in their Christian stance that the Trump administration was promoting and condoning an abomination around the world. But they remained silent about what God’s Word says and opened their mouths to say that God had given Trump a victorious reelection.

God remained, as ever, faithful to His Word, not to the “prophetic” words of prophets carried away by passionate political campaigns.

Now, many of these prophets are presenting their public apologies for their failed prophecies, leaving many Christians confused about prophets and their prophecies.

Perhaps the most important lesson to be learned from this “prophetic” failure is that, regardless of who is in the White House, Christian leaders have a biblical responsibility to speak to the president what God says in His Word. All of them should clearly say to Trump that he was promoting an abomination.

Their silence about God’s Word and an open mouth to express their passionate political prophecies tainted their ministries and showed that God is not subjected to the whims of His prophets carried away by political passions.

This is not the first time that prophets are misled by the deceit of their hearts. God’s Word says:

“And the LORD said to me: ‘The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.’” (Jeremiah 14:14 ESV)

“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts: ‘Hear the word of the LORD!’” (Ezekiel 13:2 ESV)

“How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart.” (Jeremiah 23:26 ESV)

They prophesied lying visions, worthless divination and the deceit of their own hearts — because their minds were much busier with a political candidate than with God, who rules the destiny of the world.

They behaved in political desperation thinking that God had the obligation to have the same political desperation. For them, God had an obligation to intervene to hinder Joe Biden, the Democratic Party and their nasty socialism.

Yet, God has no obligation to tolerate a pro-sodomy “conservative” candidate to defeat a pro-sodomy socialist candidate. Sheer delusion!

And He does not like when the prophetic ministry is manipulated by politicians.

God always fulfills what He promises. He destroyed Sodom because of sodomy (homosexuality). But He has no obligation to fulfil the political whims of His prophets, especially when they refuse to condemn the abomination supported by the political candidate they chose.

Can God give Trump a second chance? Yes, but firstly Christian leaders should close their mouths about their prophecies with lying visions, worthless divination and the deceit of their own hearts and open their mouths to speak what God says in His Word.

Trump and America need to hear loud and clear: Homosexuality is an abomination in God’s sight. They need to hear and repent.

Biden Inaugural Prayer Service Included Several Gay Religious Leaders

Biden Inaugural Prayer Service Included Several Gay Religious Leaders

By Julio Severo

The largest LGBT group in the United States held a Presidential Inaugural Prayer Service for Joe Biden on January 21, 2021, the “most LGBTQ inclusive” inaugural prayer service in the U.S. history for its inclusion of several gay religious leaders.

The service was mostly hosted in a virtual way by the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris watched the service remotely from the White House. Biden is the second Catholic president in the U.S. history. In spite of celebrating abortion, he has normally received communion in the Catholic Church.

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) applauded the service for placing two transgender faith leaders on the program: Paula Stone Williams, pastor of the Left Hand Church in Longmont, Colo.; and Barbara Satin, faith work director for the National LGBTQ Task Force in Minneapolis. HRC called it a “historic move.”

Williams read Isaiah:

“Is not this the fast that I choose:  to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, if you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday. And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.” (Isaiah 58:6-12 ESV)

Satin said a brief prayer for the men and women of the U.S. armed forces, which are the cornerstone of the neocon interests in endless wars around the world. It is not a surprise that even gay activists worship in the altar of neoconservatism and its wars.

HRC called it the “most LGBTQ inclusive inaugural prayer service in history.” The organization also applauded the program for including three other “trailblazing LGBTQ faith leaders”: Fred Davie, executive vice president of Union Theological Seminary in New York; Yvette Flunder, presiding bishop of the Fellowship of Affirming Ministries in Oakland, Calif., and; Sharon Kleinbaum, senior rabbi of the Congregation Beit Simchat Torah in New York.

Usually, the press and gay groups criticize Christian prayers in conservative political contexts, saying that Christian prayers violate an alleged separation between State and Christianity, even though the U.S. Republic was founded by a population 98 percent Protestant in the late 1700s. They even sue conservative politicians who pray in political events. But when the subject is to promote the gay agenda, everything is allowed and nothing is criticized, including political and ideological prayers in blasphemous gay contexts.

I believe in prayer in gay contexts, just as I believe in prayer in other contexts of sin. People who are oppressed need to be delivered from their sins and demons, and prayer is a first step.

Yet, the gay prayer service in the Protestant National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. was not to help slaves of the homosexual sin. It was to misinform the public that God accepts gay “Christians” with no need of deliverance from their sins and demons.

Alphonso David, president of the Human Rights Campaign, said in a statement that Biden’s “commitment to inclusion and mirroring the true image of America in the new administration shines through powerfully in this historic, LGBTQ inclusive, prayer service.”

“This service reflects a critical change in tone away from the cynical use of religion and faith as weapons of division against the LGBTQ community, and instead towards tools of service in the work of justice and inclusion,” David said. “Elevating the voices of LGBTQ faith leaders sends a strong message to the LGBTQ community – that we are integral parts of faith communities, and that our continued advocacy for equity is crucial for the work of healing the soul of America.”

Sadly, the bad example of “inclusion” in prayer did not come from Biden. In 2020 President Donald Trump inaugurated a totally new multifaith National Day of Prayer, where Sikh, Muslim, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Hindu, Jain, Unitarian Universalist, Christian and Jewish leaders made their prayers to their gods and demons.

The National Day of Prayer was created by evangelicals, but Trump changed it to include all religion, transforming a Christian prayer event in a pagan prayer event. U.S. evangelical leaders were silent about such paganism.

This is religious confusion. It is religious Babylon. In 1985 Rev. David Wilkerson said that America is modern Babylon. It is very hard now to doubt it.

Biden is not also a pioneer in the homosexual agenda. In 2020 the official website of the Republican Party said that “Trump Is the Most Pro-Sodomy Republican President in the U.S. History.”

Republican Richard Grenell confirmed that Trump was the most pro-sodomy president in the U.S.

Right now, I am criticizing Biden’s pro-sodomy stances. Tony Perkins of Family Research Council is also criticizing. But I wonder why Perkins and other evangelical leaders remained silent while Trump was supporting the same gay agenda Biden is supporting now.

Is sodomy a sin only when promoted by Biden, not by Trump?

The fact is that in a lesser or greater degree the left and the right are promoting sodomy and paganism in the name of faith without the God of the Bible.

What Jesus said is perfectly correct for us: “My kingdom is not of this world.” (John 18:36 ESV)
