R.C. Sproul: There Is No True Prophecy Today

According to Charisma magazine, Calvinist theologian Dr. R.C. Sproul says he was “deeply immersed” in charismatic circles in the 1960s and that after receiving about 50 false prophecies, he said to himself, “You know, I’m going to live my life by what it says in the Word, because I know the Spirit has superintended that.”

So, with his bad experience with prophecy, Dr. Sproul concluded that there is no genuine gift of prophecy for today.

By coincidence, his personal bad experience aligns itself with a strong theological view in many Calvinist circles: the belief that God does not grant today supernatural gifts as healings, speaking in tongues, prophecies and other miracles. Cessationism. Apparently, all because they had bad experiences.

Have Calvinist theologians bad luck?

I see Calvinist churches ordaining gays, supporting abortion and boycotts against Israel, especially in Europe and America. Should I conclude that Calvinist churches are not genuine Christian churches?

I have often heard Bible misrepresentations by Jehovah’s Witnesses and similar groups. Should I conclude that the Bible leads to heresy?

Twenty years ago, I received a prophetic word in a prayer meeting in Brasilia. The word said that my name would be known throughout Brazil. I had never asked for it. Even after this prophetic experience, I did not begin to pray for it.

But it came to pass. Years later, I had a book published by the Brazilian branch of Bethany House Publishers. My book, “O Movimento Homossexual” (The Homosexual Movement). was written under prophetic inspiration.

Of course, I have heard misrepresentations of the gift of prophecy, in the same way I have heard misrepresentations of the Bible. My way to deal with misrepresentations is to know how to test and examine. After all, the Bible teaches us: “Do not despise prophecies, but a test everything.” (1 Thessalonians 5:20,21 ESV) It teaches to examine what is preached in the name of the Bible and what is prophesied in the name of God.

The cessationist stance has strong disagreements among Calvinists, because there are Calvinists who believe that God has never ceased His gifts.

Calvinist theologian Dr. J. Rodman Williams, in his “Renewal Theology: Systematic Theology from a Charismatic Perspective” (Zondervan), said, “God, the living God, is the God of revelation. He is ready to grant through His Spirit a spirit of revelation and wisdom for a deeper knowledge of Christ and also through revelation and prophecy to speak to His people. God has not changed in His desire to communicate directly with those who belong to Him.”

His stance open to the Holy Spirit is a stark contrast with the cessationist stance of Dr. Sproul. There are Calvinists in both camps.

I am not a Calvinist, but I am in Dr. Williams’ camp.

I find no Bible support to reject when God wants to direct or speak to us today through prophecy. I follow a “Sola Scriptura” which means “only the Bible,” but I fear that when some theologians mention “Sola Scriptura” (only Scripture) what they mean is “Sola Theologia” (only theology). Nothing else.

After years living only in Sweden, you begin to speak Swedish. After years living and believing only in God’s Word, you begin to live its reality, especially the reality of its Author. This is real “Sola Scriptura.” But after years living and believing only in theology, you begin to think and speak it. This is “Sola Theologia,” often misunderstood as “Sola Scriptura.”

Outside the arid fields of certain theological misinterpretations of God’s action and guidance, opportunities are vast for people open to Him and His living Word.

Years ago, I met George Otis. His father had met Ronald Reagan in his ranch in 1970. In the presence of singer Pat Boone, a charismatic Christian, he delivered a prophetic word to Reagan: “God will raise you up as president of the United States.” If Reagan had had bad luck, later he could also tell about his bad experiences with prophecy.

Yet, false prophecy never nullifies true prophecy. False Bible teaching never nullifies true Bible teaching. Bible misrepresentation or false prophecy is no excuse to annul God’s Word and prophetic guiding.

There is no president, in Brazil or other nation, that I admire most than Reagan. As a teen in the 1980s, I defended Reagan while my peers were taught by media to hate him. Poor Reagan was portrayed as the cause for all problems in the world. Yet, he was my hero. I had always felt something from God about him, and when I met Otis, I had a confirmation about my inklings.

In the words of Paul Kengor, Reagan was a “crusader” against communism. How could not I admire such brave man when I also fight the Marxist heresy in Brazil?

But I doubt that I would be able to nurture this admiration among Brazilian Calvinist apologists today.

In the Brazilian Protestant churches, the defense of socialist ideology has been spearheaded by Calvinist apologists. By contrast, the conservative resistance has been spearheaded by neo-charismatics, who are fearlessly fighting the abortion and sodomy agenda.

One of the leading Calvinist leaders in Brazil is Ariovaldo Ramos, who is a former director of World Vision in Brazil. He has publicly praised the late Venezuelan Marxist dictator Hugo Chávez, whom he said he met sometimes. Ramos has led efforts to criticize neo-charismatic leaders, including Pentecostal minister Marco Feliciano, who has been viciously attacked by the mainstream media in Brazil for his vocal stances against abortion and sodomy. Ramos is considered by the Brazilian evangelical Left as a “prophet” of the Theology of Integral Mission, the Protestant version of the Marxist Liberation Theology.

There are not many neo-charismatic theologians in Brazil. In fact, I do not know anyone. But there are many conservatives among them. On the other hand, there are many theologians in the Calvinist churches in Brazil, but not many conservative leaders. Should we conclude that Calvinist theology brings bad luck to churches?

Calvinist apologists in Brazil have spearheaded the fight to promote liberalism and socialism and, at the same time, the fight against neo-charismatics. Cessationism and Theology of Integral Mission are their passion, and the neo-charismatic growth is their hate. So should we conclude that Calvinism is false Christianity by their bad example in Brazil?

The largest Presbyterian denomination in America is ordaining homosexuals and committing other abominations. Should we conclude that Calvinism leads to apostasy?

You do not need prophetic guiding to understand that Marxism is a heresy. In Brazil, it is the most powerful heresy affecting the churches. Orestes Brownson (1803–1876), who was raised a Calvinist and converted himself to Catholicism, was probably the first Christian to warn America about the perils of the Marxist heresy.

If church leaders do not want to hear what God has to say in His own terms and conditions, they will see their flocks leaving, as Brownson did.

Regardless the bad experiences of Sproul and other Calvinists, God speaks today. If they gave more attention to God through His gifts, they would be more able to resist to the socialist onslaught against the church and society.

Fugitive whistleblower Edward Snowden says America’s National Security Agency is ‘in bed’ with Germany and other Western states, while Brazil is demanding an explanation from the U.S. over reports that its citizens have been under surveillance for at least a decade.

America's National Security Agency works closely with Germany and other Western states on a 'no questions asked'-basis, former NSA employee Snowden said in comments that undermine Chancellor Angela Merkel's indignant talk of ‘Cold War’ tactics.

‘They are in bed with the Germans, just like with most other Western states,’ German magazine Der Spiegel quotes him as saying in an interview published on Sunday that was carried out before he fled to Hong Kong in May and divulged details of extensive secret U.S. surveillance.

‘Other agencies don't ask us where we got the information from and we don't ask them. That way they can protect their top politicians from the backlash in case it emerges how massively people's privacy is abused worldwide,’ he said.

Snowden’s comments about cooperation with governments overseas, which he said were led by the NSA's Foreign Affairs Directorate, appear to contradict the German government's show of surprise at the scale of the U.S. electronic snooping.

Germany has demanded explanations for Snowden's allegations of large-scale spying by the NSA, and by Britain via a programme codenamed 'Tempora', on their allies including Germany and other European Union states, as well as EU institutions and embassies.

Chancellor Angela Merkel pointed out during President Barack Obama's recent visit that Germany had avoided terrorist attacks thanks to information from allies.

But she says there must be limits to the intrusion on privacy and wants this discussed next week in parallel with the start of EU-U.S. free trade talks.

Berlin has alluded repeatedly to ‘Cold War’ tactics - Merkel used the term again on Saturday at a political rally - and has said spying on friends is unacceptable. Her spokesman has said a transatlantic trade deal requires a level of ‘mutual trust.’

Brazil is getting ready to demand an explanation from the United States over report its citizens' electronic communications have been under watch by U.S. spy agencies for at least ten years, foreign minister Antonio Patriota said on Sunday.

Patriota's remarks were in response to a report in the Globo daily newspaper on Sunday saying that the U.S. National Security Agency has been monitoring the telephone and e-mail activity of Brazilian companies and individuals as part of U.S. espionage activities.

The report cited documents obtained from U.S. fugitive Edward Snowden, a former NSA intelligence contractor.

Patriota also said his government plans to propose changes to international communications rules administered by the Geneva-based International Telecommunications Union to improve communications secrecy, the statement said.

Brazil also plans to present proposals to the United Nations to protect the privacy of electronic communication.

‘The Brazilian government is gravely concerned by the news that electronic and telephone communications of Brazilian citizens are the objective of espionage efforts by U.S. intelligence agencies,’ a foreign ministry statement said.

The Globo report did not say how much traffic was monitored by NSA computers and intelligence officials. But the article pointed out that in the Americas, Brazil was second only to the United States in the number of transmissions intercepted.

Brazil was a priority nation for the NSA communications surveillance alongside China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan, Globo said.

In the 10-year period, the NSA captured 2.3 billion phone calls and messages in the United States and then used computers to analyze them for signs of suspicious activity, the paper said.

In the United States, the NSA used legal but secret warrants to compel communications companies to turn over information about calls and emails for analysis.

Some access to Brazilian communications was obtained through American companies that were partners with Brazilian telecommunications companies, the paper reported, without identifying the companies.

The Globo article was written by Glenn Greenwald, Roberto Kaz and José Casado. Greenwald, an American who works for Britain's Guardian newspaper and lives in Rio de Janeiro, was the journalist who first revealed classified documents provided by Snowden, outlining the extent of U.S. communications monitoring activity at home and abroad.

After providing the information to Greenwald, Snowden fled the United States for Hong Kong and was most recently seen in the transit area of the Moscow airport.

Snowden's U.S. passport has been revoked. He has made asylum requests to several countries, including Ecuador, Venezuela and Bolivia. Three countries - Bolivia, Venezuela and Nicaragua - have offered to give Snowden asylum.

Germany’s domestic intelligence chief has said he knew nothing of such widespread surveillance by the NSA.

But German opposition parties - with an eye on September's federal election - insist that somebody in Merkel's office, where the German intelligence agencies are coordinated, must have known what was going on.

The government did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the Der Spiegel report, which follows a report last week in French daily Le Monde saying France also had an extensive surveillance programme.

Der Spiegel has reported that on an average day, the NSA monitored about 20 million German phone connections and 10 million internet data sets, rising to 60 million phone connections on busy days.

Germans are particularly sensitive about eavesdropping because of the intrusive surveillance in the communist German Democratic Republic (GDR) and during the Nazi era.

Snowden, a U.S. citizen, fled in May a few weeks before the details he provided about the NSA were published and is believed to have been holed up in Moscow airport since June 23.

Bolivia offered asylum on Saturday to Snowden, joining leftist allies Venezuela and Nicaragua in defiance of Washington, which is demanding his arrest for divulging details of the secret U.S. spy programs.

Der Spiegel said the interview was conducted while Snowden was living in Hawaii, via encrypted emails with U.S. documentary maker Laura Poitras and hacker Jacob Appelbaum.

Snowden told them that America's closest allies sometimes went even further than the NSA in their zeal for gathering data.

The Tempora programme of Britain's GCHQ eavesdropping agency is known in the intelligence world as a ‘full take.’

‘It sucks up all information, no matter where it comes from and which laws are broken,’ Snowden said. ‘If you send a data packet and goes through Britain, we'll get it. If you download anything, and the server is in Britain, we'll get it.’

If the NSA is ordered to target an individual, it virtually take over that person's data ‘so the target's computer no longer belongs to him, it more or less belongs to the U.S. government.’

Brazil expresses concern at report of NSA spying

PARATY, Brazil (AP) - Brazil's foreign minister said Sunday his government is worried by a report that the United States has collected data on billions of telephone and email conversations in his country and promised an effort for international protection of Internet privacy.

The O Globo newspaper reported over the weekend that information released by NSA leaker Edward Snowden shows that the number of telephone and email messages logged by the U.S. National Security Agency in Brazil in January alone was not far behind the 2.3 billion reportedly collected in the United States.

Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota, speaking from the colonial city of Paraty where he was attending Brazil's top literary festival, expressed "deep concern at the report that electronic and telephone communications of Brazilian citizens are being the object of espionage by organs of American intelligence.

"The Brazilian government has asked for clarifications" through the U.S. Embassy in Brazil and Brazil's embassy in Washington, he said.

Patriota also said Brazil will ask the U.N. for measures "to impede abuses and protect the privacy" of Internet users, laying down rules for governments "to guarantee cybernetic security that protects the rights of citizens and preserves the sovereignty of all countries."

The spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Brazil's capital, Dean Chaves, said diplomats there would not have any comment.

But the Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued a statement saying, "The U.S. government will respond through diplomatic channels to our partners and allies in the Americas ... While we are not going to comment publicly on specific alleged intelligence activities, as a matter of policy we have made clear that the United States gathers foreign intelligence of the type gathered by all nations."

The chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff warned Sunday that Snowden's overall disclosures have undermined U.S. relationships with other countries and affected what he calls "the importance of trust." Gen. Martin Dempsey told CNN's "State of the Union" that the U.S. will "work our way back. But it has set us back temporarily."

Patriota's reaction in Brazil extended diplomatic turbulence the U.S. has faced from friends and foes around the world since Snowden began releasing details of the surveillance.

Germany's top security official suggested last month that Internet users could shun operations that use U.S.-based computer servers to avoid security worries. France's Interior Minister used a July 4 garden party at the U.S. Embassy in Paris to complain about alleged U.S. spying, saying "such practices, if proven, do not have their place between allies and partners."

Hong Kong officials last month declined a U.S. request to extradite the former NSA contract worker amid indications of displeasure over his revelation that the former British colony had been a target of American hacking.

The O Globo article said that "Brazil, with extensive digitalized public and private networks operated by large telecommunications and internet companies, appears to stand out on maps of the U.S. agency as a priority target for telephony and data traffic, alongside nations such as China, Russia and Pakistan."

The report did not describe the sort of data collected, but the U.S. programs appear to gather what is called metadata: logs of message times, addresses and other information rather than the content of the messages.

The report was co-authored by U.S. journalist Glenn Greenwald, who originally broke the Snowden story in the Britain-based Guardian newspaper, where he writes a regularly blog.

In a Sunday posting, Greenwald wrote that "the NSA has, for years, systematically tapped into the Brazilian telecommunication network and indiscriminately intercepted, collected and stored the email and telephone records of millions of Brazilians."

He said Brazil was merely an example of a global practice.

"There are many more populations of non-adversarial countries which have been subjected to the same type of mass surveillance net by the NSA: indeed, the list of those which haven't been are shorter than those which have," he wrote.

The O Globo article said the NSA collected the data through an association between U.S. and Brazilian telecommunications companies. It said it could not verify which Brazilian companies were involved or if they were aware their links were being used to collect the data.

"It's most likely that any monitoring was done of undersea cables and satellites. For international transmissions and calls, the majority of the cables pass through the United States," Paulo Bernardo, Brazil's communications minister, told O Globo. "We're extremely concerned about this news, especially the possible involvement of Brazilian companies. If that actually happened, it would be a crime under Brazilian law."

Brazil was among several nations asked to provide political asylum by Snowden in recent days. The foreign ministry said last week that it did "not plan to respond" to the leaker's request, though spokesmen declined to say they explicitly denied his application. Other Latin American nations - Venezuela, Bolivia and Nicaragua - have already said they will grant asylum. On Sunday, Cuban President Raul Castro said he supported those countries' apparent willingness to grant Snowden asylum, but he did not say whether Cuba itself would offer him refuge or safe passage.

While some Brazilians were upset by the revelations, others seemed to shrug.

"On the one hand, the size of the U.S. espionage program and the number of Brazilians who fell into it is ridiculous," said Rodolfo Andrade, a 29-year-old businessman in Sao Paulo. "On the other hand, it helps international security."

Good News from Russia: Russians Made Homosexual Agenda Roll Back

Good news on the homosexual battlefront is rare these days, and even when we get it, the victory is usually in the form of a delay in the advance of a particular homosexual goal rather than a clear defeat of their agenda. The “tabling” of the Illinois “gay marriage” bill recently, and of last year’s sexual orientation regulations (SORs) in Springfield MO come to mind. (Notice how there’s never an actual vote to strike down the proposed pro-homosexual policy when our side rises up in protest, just a delay until the progressives -- meaning regressives -- think it‘s “safe’ to proceed).

Rarest of all is news that the homosexual agenda has actually been rolled back. We got such news this week about Russia, which just passed a law criminalizing homosexual propaganda in that nation. Rather, most of us didn’t get the news, because the coverage was weak trending toward invisible since the mainstream media can‘t yet figure out how to spin it to the advantage of the “gays“ (but watch for many future stories about “innocent“ activists -- i.e. professional foreign provocateurs -- being “brutally“ suppressed by Russian authorities -- though never a word about how the Russian policy preserves family-based society and avoids the moral meltdown occurring in the West).

Frankly, I heard the news only when called by a Russian TV network for comment. Their crew drove up from New York yesterday afternoon to do the interview and filled me in on the details. They knew to contact me because of an AP story in which I had been interviewed before the final passage of the law. President Putin apparently signed it into law on July 1st. I have enjoyed very few actual victories in my 25 years of front-lines ministry on this battlefield, so it is hugely gratifying to have played a role, however small, in the enactment of this law. This ban on homosexual propaganda was one of a few specific policies I had advocated in my 50-city tour of the former Soviet Union in 2006-2007. Significantly, the first version of this law at the local level was in St. Petersburg where I released my Letter to the Russian People in October of 2007 near the close of that tour.

Here in the United States it would not be possible to pass such a law these days because of the way our First Amendment has been misinterpreted in recent decades by the U.S. Supreme Court. The Founders would have had no such problem, but “free speech” today means “pro-gay” speech (as well as such important forms of expression as nude dancing and anime child porn) but speech pointing out the many dangers of homosexuality is no longer protected in many cases since the rise of so-called sexual orientation regulations (SORs) which define “anti-gay” Bible-quotes and similar “hate speech” as illegal discrimination. Who would have thought that the Russians would become the world’s champions of family values (relatively speaking) while the U.S. would trash its own constitution to normalize sexual perversion?

I’ve just learned that the World Congress of Families will hold it’s next international conference (WFCVIII) in Moscow next year. I would like very much to be there for that and have started a fund to cover my expenses to get there. Opponents of abortion, same-sex marriage, illegal immigration singled out as dangerous

BARACK Obama had been in the Oval Office only a few weeks when his administration’s first overt attack on traditional values conservatives was unleashed — a highly controversial report from the Department of Homeland Security titled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.”

Noting that many Americans were upset with the federal government for contributing to a major economic slump, the report pin-pointed those most likely to descend into radicalism and violence, even terrorism — namely, ”Groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

That’s right — Not Islamic jihadists, but conservatives, patriots and Christians.

Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans likely would attract new members into the ranks of right-wing extremist groups as well as potentially spur some of them to begin planning and training for violence against the government the report warned. “The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by right-wing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement.”

US War Veterans a major danger to us as far as Obama is concerned!

Among the most dangerous people, said the Homeland Security report, were those members of the United States military who had defended American interests in conflicts abroad and had recently returned home. “Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to right-wing extremists. DHS … is concerned that right-wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities,” the report said.

It went on to accuse those objecting to Obama’s unprecedented federal spending free-for-all of being racist, and further warned that, ‘end times’ prophecies could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons.”

Dated April 7, 2009, the document was made public only days after a similar report blasted out by the chief of the Missouri Highway Patrol, compiled with the help of Department of Home Security (DHS), linked conservative groups to domestic terrorism. Specifically, it warned about people who might have pro-life bumper stickers, or those expressing support for third-party political candidates.

It didn’t take long to see the results. Within a month of the report, authorities in Louisiana stopped a driver and detained him for having a “Don’t Tread on Me” bumper sticker on his vehicle. Officers warned him about the “subversive” message it conveyed. “Don’t Tread on Me” is a traditional American symbol from the Revolutionary War period. The situation developed in the small town of Ball, La., where a receptionist at the police department told Whistleblower she knew nothing about the traffic stop, during which the “suspect” was investigated for “extremist” activities, according to a relative.

As the American Vision blog reported: “‘Liberals’ and other leftists have been calling defenders of traditional American, limited constitutional government, free enterprise, and individual liberty extremists’ since at least the 1964 election. Small town police misled by phony left-wing ‘reports’ are bad enough. Federal government agencies and their armed agents under the direction of leftist radicals are exponentially worse.”

The original DHS report, issued under Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, resulted in at least one lawsuit. Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, said it was alarming that Napolitano never retracted the accusations or apologized to those identified in the report as possible terror dangers.

Thompson noted that the report also targeted as “potential terrorists” Americans who oppose abortion, same-sex marriage, restrictions on firearms, lax immigration laws and policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs, as well as those who oppose continuation of free trade agreements, are suspicious of foreign regimes, fear communist dictatorships and oppose a “one world” government.

It turns out the basis for the inflammatory DHS report was primarily online chat. According to data gleaned by Americans for Limited Government through a Freedom of Information Act request, one of the government report’s sources was “a frighteningly kooky website” that included a story about a scientist destroying a radio to God. Another suspect source was the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization which later was itself tied to domestic terrorism (in an imaginative interpretation of the law).

Since then, the Obama administrations attacks on conservatives and Christians have just continued to grow.

Among the many developments:

* The U.S. Census Bureau banned from its list of “partners” those groups that oppose lax immigration standards

* A tea party member who was writing letters to his elected representatives in opposition to massive government spending under Obama’s leadership reported he was investigated as a terrorist by the Joint Terrorism Task Force of the FBI!

* Blogger Dennis Loo at Salon.com revealed that the Department of Defense taught in a seminar that “certain First Amendment-protected activity may amount to lower level terrorism.” The details were cited from an ACLU letter highlighting controversial DoD information disseminated in seminars. For example, DoD’s “Annual Level 1 Antiterrorism Awareness Training for 2009″ asked which was “an example of low-level terrorism?” The correct answer was “protests.”

* A lawsuit took issue with the Veterans Administration practice of placing any veteran seeking help with managing financial benefits and provisions designated for a disability on the nations registry of those not permitted to possess firearms.

* Shortly after Obama called for a “national civilian security force” that would be as big and well-funded as the U.S. military, a report from the Rand Corp. recommended using the U.S. Marshals Service to create a “Stability Police Force” inside the United States

* A Christian blogger who was forced to flee Brazil because of the conflict between that nations pro-homosexual “hate crimes” agenda and his advocacy for traditional marriage detected surveillance from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on his site. Julio Severo’s, Last Days Watchman blog revealed it saw monitors from the DHS.gov location observing the site.

* A Colorado-based center that coordinated investigative efforts confirmed that federal agents distributed brochures to farm supply stores, gun shops and others warning that, “potential indicators” of terrorism included “paying with cash” or making “extreme religious statements.” Also buying “Meals Ready to Eat” or “night flashlights” made a person a suspect.

* In 2012, a congressional investigation revealed that the nations many anti-terrorism “fusion centers,” set up by the federal government to join local, state and federal investigations, probably have violated Americans’ privacy, issued reports that were outdated by the time they were released and wasted tax money by giving away SUVs.

* A West Point study released early this year, titled “Challenges from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right,” links pro-life leaders to terrorism. Author Arie Perliger wrote, “The anti-abortionists have been extremely productive during the last two decades, amassing 227 attacks, many of them perpetrated without the responsible perpetrators identified or caught.”

* The inspector general for the Department of Justice admitted in a report that the Civil Rights Division of one of the most powerful organizations in the federal government displayed a widespread hostility to protecting the civil rights of whites!

* Members of Congress this year were astonished that the U.S. Army Reserve would use a training brief that slams Catholics, evangelical Christians and others. The training seminar taught soldiers that evangelical Christians are an extremist threat to America along with groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, the Ku Klux Klan and al-Qaida. The anti-Christian training seminar issue came to the attention of authorities when one Christian serviceman objected to the presentation.
