“Conservatives” Against “Conservatives”: Brazilian President Bolsonaro Is Called a “Homophobe” by U.S. “Conservative” Fox News

“Conservatives” Against “Conservatives”: Brazilian President Bolsonaro Is Called a “Homophobe” by U.S. “Conservative” Fox News

By Julio Severo
“Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s comment that the country must not become a ‘gay tourism paradise’ sparked concern that LGBTQ people will avoid traveling to the country, fearing the possibility of violence, according to advocates and industry representatives,” said Fox News on Sunday.
By the way, Bolsonaro’s comment sparked concern also in Fox News.
You could measure Fox News as more conservative because U.S. President Donald Trump has given preference to Fox News instead of CNN, a liberal channel whom he accuses of FakeNews. So if Fox News accuses Bolsonaro of being a “homophobe,” is this accusation accurate?
In his March trip to the U.S., Bolsonaro also preferred to be interviewed by Fox News instead of CNN, because he also thinks that Fox News is more conservative and because he is against FakeNews.
So, again, is Fox News’s accusation of him being a “homophobe” correct?
Fox News said,
“During a talk with reporters on Thursday, Bolsonaro said that the Latin American country should avoid being known as a gay destination because ‘we have families.’”
I see no problem in his comment, because there is no pride in being known as a modern Sodom, filled of homosexual orgies.
But then Fox News added a troubling comment by Bolsonaro,
“He said that tourists were more than welcome to ‘come here and have sex with a woman.’”
It seems that in this point Fox News aligned itself with homosexualists, who basically complained that if Bolsonaro is ok with tourists coming to Brazil to have sex with women, why not with men too?
Actually, the additional comment by Bolsonaro cannot be considered conservative. To say that tourists are more than welcome to come to Brazil to have sex with women is to treat Brazilian women as whores.
But such offensive comment was not criticized by Fox News, which seems to understand that if Brazilian women are entitled to be treated as whores of tourists, Brazilian men and boys have the same right.
I add boys because Brazil has a massive problem with tourists looking for prostitution, including with underage girls. Homosexual tourism involving prostitution, including with underage boys, has never been assessed by experts.
Fox News said,
“Bolsonaro’s homophobic remarks will have social and economic repercussions for Brazil,” John Tanzella, president of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association, an organization with members in 75 countries, told Thomson Reuters Foundation.
While there is no official data on how much revenue LGBTQ tourism generates in Brazil, major events like Sao Paulo’s annual LGBTQ Pride Parade, and Rio de Janeiro’s gay-friendly Carnival, fill hotels nearly to maximum capacity.
“It’s going to have an impact,” Alfredo Lopes, Rio’s regional president of the Brazilian Association of Hotels, told the news agency.
Why cannot Fox News and others see other impacts? Brazilian hotels are known to have scandals of, against the law, allowing underage girls being made available to tourists. Are not Brazilian boys made available to tourists in hotels too?
Also, why see only the alleged positive financial impact, and ignore the negative impacts?
Homosexuality is linked to a host of evils and sexual diseases. What is the impact of these evils and diseases in the Brazilian society? Who pays for the medical bills of the sexual exploitation by homosexual tourists?
So homosexual tourists come without leaving any cheque to cover medical expenses for the burden of their sexual proclivities. Hotels also do not pay for the medical bills, which are billed to the Brazilian taxpayers. This is the reason I am complaining here. Why am I, a Brazilian taxpayer with seven children, forced to pay for the medical bills in government hospitals of men and boys used by homosexual tourists? Why not add this financial impact in the consequences of homosexual tourism? Why have I to pay for the burden of this pervert tourism?
“Conservative” Fox News said,
Bolsonaro, a self-proclaimed “proud homophobe,” has made numerous negative comments about the LGBTQ community over the years.
On Friday, a Brazilian bank commercial highlighting the country’s diversity was pulled following a demand from Bolsonaro. The campaign featured black and transgender actors and it began running at the beginning of the month before it was pulled on April 14, according to Yahoo! News.
What Fox News did not say is that the bank is federal. So I and other Brazilian taxpayers pay for the homosexual commercial. Is it fair? Brazilian conservatives should not be forced to pay for a homosexual commercial from a federal institution imposing values against the Brazilian family.
If to remove a commercial glorifying homosexuality makes Bolsonaro a “homophobe,” I am too, and proudly. But if the definition of “homophobia” is violence against homosexuals, Bolsonaro is not a “homophobe,” because he has never committed any violence to homosexuals. I am not a “homophobe” too, because I have never committed any violence to homosexuals.
In spite of accusations of “homophobia” from “conservative” Fox News, the Bolsonaro administration has decided to keep laws and federal homosexual departments created by the former administrations of socialist presidents Luiz Inácio “Lula” da Silva and Dilma Rousseff. Homosexual directors of federal homosexual agencies appointed by Rousseff will be kept in their posts, by Bolsonaro’s decision. So how can Fox News accuse him of being a “homophobe” if he is keeping homosexualists in federal posts?
I am the author of “O Movimento Homossexual” (The Homosexual Movement), published originally by the Brazilian branch of Bethany House Publishers in 1998. This was the first book to expose the homosexual agenda in Brazil.
As a conservative evangelical who has been fighting against the homosexual agenda for over 20 years, including during the terms of Lula and Rousseff, I cannot understand and accept that “homophobe” Bolsonaro has decided to keep federal homosexual agencies in his administration, forcing me and other taxpayers to pay the salaries of homosexualists in the federal government.
I cannot also accept Bolsonaro’s comment that tourists are more than welcome to come to Brazil to have sex with women, who should not be treated as whores. This comment was very offensive to Brazilian women, and Fox News should have condemned it, but it did not do it.
There is some conservatism in Bolsonaro. Some fake conservatism. And some confusion. Much of this confusion is because he is very poorly advised.
Yet, how can “conservative” Fox News help him if it condemns him for removing a homosexual commercial but does not condemn him for keeping federal homosexual agencies in his administration and for disrespecting Brazilian women?

Incredible! Right Wing Watch, Which Tracks Conservative Stances to Attack Conservative Leaders, Defends Notre Dame Cathedral Against Julio Severo

Incredible! Right Wing Watch, Which Tracks Conservative Stances to Attack Conservative Leaders, Defends Notre Dame Cathedral Against Julio Severo

By Julio Severo
It is no surprise to see left-wing groups attacking Christian churches. But what about when a prominent U.S. left-wing organization defends a Catholic cathedral against a conservative evangelical?
Right Wing Watch, of the left-wing group People for the American Way, was not pleased that an article authored by me questioned why a Christian church should have or even tolerate demonic statues in its building.
Right Wing Watch said on April 18, 2019:
“Julio Severo weighs in on the fire at Notre Dame: ‘From a spiritual perspective, a place of idolatry was destroyed. And the destructive fire not only destroyed the idols of Mary and other men and women. It destroyed also Gargoyles — statues of demons.’”
Why is Right Wing Watch worried about my view on idolatry and statues?
My article that bothered Right Wing Watch was published on BarbWire and is titled: “The Gargoyles of Notre Dame and the Islamic Celebration of Their Destruction.”
Other conservatives that bothered Right Wing Watch were Janet Porter, Intercessors for America, the Christian Defense Coalition and Alex McFarland.
By the way, I can put two additional concerns that Right Wing Watch can, in its left-wing capacity, add to its track record of my conservative stances to use to defend Notre Dame and attack me.
People are donating untold millions of dollars for the rebuilding of Notre Dame when there are more urgent human needs. In fact, just one week after Notre Dame was destroyed by fire, donations exceeded 1 billion dollars. Why waste one billion dollars on a building when God told us to love people, not buildings?
Even President Donald Trump praised Notre Dame, but he was strangely silent when the Protestant Reformation had its international celebration of 500 years in 2017. As the largest Protestant nation in the world, the United States would deserve to have its president, Trump, to celebrate it, but he preferred instead to celebrate Halloween. Is Halloween’s witchcraft more important than the evangelicalism that guided America since its birth? Are Notre Dame and its Gargoyles more important than the most important American religious heritage, Protestantism?
Yet, for Right Wing Watch, as far as real conservatism is concerned, Julio Severo is a bigger conservative threat than Notre Dame is.
Right Wing Watch is a project of the far-left-wing People for the American Way and it has, according to its website, a special mission to attack conservatives opposed to the gay agenda, abortion and Muslim ideology.
According to WND, People for the American Way (PFAW) is “an atheist socialist organization which, through publications like its ‘Right Wing Watch,’ dedicates itself to the destruction of conservatives in general.”
Many prominent U.S. conservative names are in Right Wing Watch’s blacklist. My place in their blacklist is here.
What do U.S. conservatives say about Right Wing Watch?
Pat Robertson, of 700 Club, said, “A nasty group.”
Peter LaBarbera, of Americans for Truth of Homosexuality, said, “They should call it People for the Homosexual Way.”
Matt Barber, the founder of BarbWire, said, “A radical secularist agenda… a socialist agenda… pushing the culture of death.”

Confirmed: Olavo de Carvalho is the Rasputin of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. Leader of Bolsonaro’s party says that he is in love with Carvalho

Confirmed: Olavo de Carvalho is the Rasputin of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. Leader of Bolsonaro’s party says that he is in love with Carvalho

By Julio Severo
Immediately after the Brazilian presidential election last October, I warned, in my article “Jair Bolsonaro’s Rasputin? How to Weaken a Right-Winger,” that Bolsonaro could get trapped under the wicked influence of a Rasputin. The warning has been confirmed by one of the most important leaders of Bolsonaro’s party, who said that Bolsonaro “is in love with Olavo” — a reference to Olavo de Carvalho, a self-styled philosopher with a history in occultism and astrology.
In an interview with the Brazilian newspaper Estado de S. Paulo this week, Brazilian congressman Delegado Waldir talked candidly about what he sees threatening Bolsonaro.
Waldir is a gun supporter and he has travelled to at least 100 nations, from the entire Europe to Asia, United States and the entire Latin America. He is the leader of PSL (Liberal Social Party) in the House of Representatives in Brazil. PSL is Bolsonaro’s party.
Estado de S. Paulo asked him what he thought of the fall of the minister of Education. He answered that he “was minister because he was an olavete [adherent of Carvalho], indicated by Olavo de Carvalho. With the indication of another [minister] the president signaled that Olavo is very strong, because he is in love with Olavo, he remains in love with Carvalho’s theses, which weakens the technical and military sectors of the government.”
The Brazilian newspaper asked him, “What do you think of Olavo de Carvalho, considered as President Bolsonaro’s guru?”
In this point, I should add that even the U.S. government recognizes that Bolsonaro is dependent on Carvalho. In a recent report, the Voice of America, the official international broadcaster of the U.S. government, recognized that Carvalho is Bolsonaro’s guru.
Waldir’s answer: “Good-for-nothing. An individual who keeps giving tips about our country from outside. How many votes did he bring? What campaign did he do?”
Estado de S. Paulo asked him if he ever read some book of Carvalho, and he answered, “I do not have time to waste on it. And I doubt that President Bolsonaro has read just one of his books.”
The newspaper asked, “How do you understand this influence of Olavo de Carvalho on the president?”
Waldir replied, “They say he’s the right-wing prophet. He who brought the ideals of bolsonarism.”
The paper insisted, “And what do you say?”
He said, “All bullshit… It is unacceptable Olavo attacking PSL, congressmen, the government and the military — from another country. He has appointed two ministries…”
Estado de S. Paulo asked him, “What problems has the connection with Olavo provoked?”
Waldir answered, “The great friction that exists today in the government, the president’s decisions, are influenced by this philosopher Olavo de Carvalho. It is necessary to remove his influence from the government. Who should have influence is the president. [Carvalho] cannot be the tipster on duty,” adding, “It’s time for Olavo de Carvalho to stop giving tips to the government. Tips belongs only to lottery.”
Bolsonaro administration: Olavo above everything, Olavo above everyone
In an interview with O Globo, another Brazilian newspaper, Waldir said,
— The field of influence of adherents of Carvalho [in the Bolsonaro administration is harmful], in my view, because of their very strong ideological position. They should exit the government so that the president may govern with tranquility.
— It is unfair for a group to have two ministries and attack the government, attack the military, attack the few existing groups within the government. (It would be good for them to exit) to pacify.
His interviews reveal that the Brazilian Ministry of Education became a chaos after Bolsonaro appointed a man indicated by Carvalho. The result was the fall of the new minister of Education after much confusion. But I had already warned that he liked Hillary Clinton and he disliked Trump.
It is not only Araújo who has connection to occultists. Carvalho himself bragged this week, “Steve Bannon and Wolfgang Smith think that I am a genius.” Both Bannon and Smith are adherents of the Islamic occultist René Guénon, who founded the Traditionalist School to fight Marxism. His most prominent disciple was Evola! And Carvalho himself has been promoting Guénon in Brazil for decades.
Occultists always praise occultists. And Carvalho and Bannon are not only praising one another, they are really involved with one another. In 2014, Bannon praised Guénon and Evola at a Vatican conference.
So is not it interesting that Carvalho, who has been a self-exiled Brazilian immigrant in the U.S. for over 13 years, has been praised not by U.S. prominent conservatives, but by two prominent controversial U.S. right-wing occultists?
Evangelicals were crucial for Bolsonaro’s victory, but his failure to recognize the evangelical importance is leaving his administration at the mercy of Guenonian opportunists, including Carvalho and Bannon. Sometimes in theory, he makes such recognition. In his recent visit to the U.S., he said to Pat Robertson that evangelicals were fundamental for his election. But in practice, he has given power to Carvalho.
And, yes, as confirmed now by Delegado Waldir, a prominent leader in Bolsonaro’s party, Carvalho has actually become Bolsonaro’s Rasputin. The original Rasputin kept the Russian czar, who was a conservative man, in such a spell that the Russian leader was in love with him. The result was chaos in the Russian government and, in the end, the victory of communism against a weakened Russian conservative government.
Should Brazilians expect better results while the Bolsonaro administration is under the same spell? I want to help Bolsonaro escape the tragic end that the czar had because of the original Rasputin.
I have written a number of articles about Carvalho’s wicked influence, in the hope that my warnings may awaken Bolsonaro. These warnings have annoyed Carvalho, who since January (the inauguration of Bolsonaro) has called on the Federal Police to investigate me on the allegation that accusations against him involving the Inquisition and occultism are collusions paid by the Russian government.
Yesterday, he shared a CitizenGo post asking the Bolsonaro administration to investigate “crimes” against him. Carvalho sees criticism against him as “crimes.” He has called a number of his critics, including me, as “criminals.”
He has reasons to be worried. Contrary to good conservatives, who are victims of fakenews from the left-wing media that fabricate lies and forged scandals about them, Carvalho has a history so filled with scandals, orgies, occultism, lies to his own astrology students and lawsuits from these students that the progressive press has no need to invent any fakenews about him.
Now does he want to punish those who expose his own dirty reality?
Should I remind that to justify censorship, punishment and even prison to critics, totalitarian regimes treat critics as “criminals”?
If it is a crime to say that Bolsonaro’s Rasputin defends the revisionism of the Inquisition, which tortured and killed Jews and Protestants, I am a “criminal.”
If it is a crime to expose how Bolsonaro’s Rasputin reviles evangelicals, I am a “criminal.”
If it is a crime to say that he has become Bolsonaro’s Rasputin, I am a “criminal.”
If he could, he would put all his critics in Gulags or reeducation camps.
And now that he has the power of a Rasputin over Bolsonaro, what is he going to do to Delegado Waldir, who has become a “criminal” by criticizing his vast wicked influence on Bolsonaro?
Carvalho’s specialty when he was a professional astrologer and actively involved in esoteric cults was to bewitch people. He keeps today the same specialty, including over a president.
